Thanks guys! Yeah i was goning for more of a typical scull look, in this wip pic you can see it alot stronger than in the final product

I wouldnt say that, i think what a moc expert is is one who makes mocs that look good, yes, but can do so in many situations, can muipulate his or her bricks into anything they wish using interesting building conventions, and that be overloaded angled rocks or a nice clean wall. Both degothia and beerbeard are doing that consistantly, i wonder why he hasnt the title really, hes built up his own awesome style, has some crazy cool use of colour which complement everything, uses awesome techniques and has exce.lent compostion. All of his recent mocs have been eye candy. Most of what i disagree with is huge collection bit, sure many mocexlerts have tons, and i admit for a teen i probably have quite a bit, but in the fol world, both as and ts, my collection would be considered miniscuel, heck i cant build more than 2 sides of most builds! We should get back to discussing the moc though

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Legonardo replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
My collection is mostly in 3 parts castle stuff, this is what you see in most MOCs, probably about 50% (maybe 15 pounds?) of my stuff, as castle covers alot of bricks that can be used mars mission, about 30% everything else, you can figure it out, this is stuff like city, and aqua raiders and random things i collected as a kid and hardly use now. i had access to about twice that, but it was family lego, what i have now is actually mine, the rest belongs to my brothers, who seldom share -
This is great man, (girl ) my fave from ya! keep it up!

City all the way! -
Degothia, please take no offenwse at my comment, im not sure how to write it without offending. What i think beery is going at is that your build is quite simple, thats not a problem at all, it works well, but i know that beerbeards been working his butt off crazy big time to get the title, when he posts his next moc, youll see some crazy techniques and conposition, along side many you may not see that i wouldnt even think of, (and this is where ill probably end up unintentionally offending ) it is much more complex than this moc is. Once again please take no offense, i mean none and do really like your mocs!

Ok. Very broad question. Lets see... you can work wanders with just that, but if your out to buy things, 5*6 leaf stems 3*4 leaf stems are an easy way to start, flower stems are also quite good. Variation is important, if you can get smaller plates and bigger pates for that matter do so, try keep your base from being flat really. Most of all Look at builders like mark of falworth, or derfel cadarns older builds to see what sor of things they do, when your confident doing that, try things that even they dont do

Very cool MOC, the gold dome is an interesting touch i wouldn't expect to see in a nocty build, but its working very well

He did? mybad, stuff goes through so quick in this thread, if you don't pay utmost attention, you miss half the stuff

Any of you photoshop wizards checking what azog looks in white? I know you did it with some older figs! to be honest though, doesn't bother me too much, hes still a pretty spectacualr fig, only real let down is the necromancer really, but then again, how else could they have done them?

Whenever i see your mocs i want to build kali, (and go to do so, getting stopped by me tiny collection) btu in all seriousness, this is incredible, the dome is perfect, the interior is superb, the towers are beautiful and the use of colour complements everything so perfectly. legendary MOC man -
agreed, there's hardly anything interesting in these, legos not done too much in terms of construction, but man those figures its gonna be hard to sell some of them ...

Legonardo replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in Guilds of Historica
Hehe, ive found everyone of your warhammer rip off a while ago, I confess that even ive done one, after i did it I found out it was one that youve done aswell, glad no one noticed -
Alrighty first impressions elf army cool minifigs, thranduil is awesome, have enough haldier heads already though new orks are BA, would make a great addition to my slowly growing goblin army, and those shoulder pads . Dk brown warg = win. parts, not the greatest but not the worst either. will probably buy and sell thranduil Ambush will get for the figs and red leaves, hardly anything else usefull. Battles not very interseting again, but sweet figs, will try get and sell Azog and Necromancer, and gandalph, but no ones interested in him now
