Who says anything about just the hall?
RPGer, roleplaying is mostly about creating a character and then deciding how they will react to what others do. You don't have to create extra drama, just wait and it will appear. The fact that it takes so long to develop a character is part of what makes roleplaying a fun and interesting challenge; characters can change ad develop over time, in response to what other users' characters do and say, and that takes time. Real life isn't all drama and excitement, is it? The same is true for roleplaying, you often have to wait for that perfect moment, but when it finally appears, you have roleplaying gold. Tanma's character De'kra is a goldmine of good roleplaying, as is CorneliusMurdock's character Cronk, and Scorpiox's character Skrall (among many others, these are just off the top of my head ), look to them for examples of not just dramatic character acting, but believable responses to the other characters around them.
Just my two cents.
