OOC: I just realized, Arthur should have gotten his gems, potions, and telescope back from Knyghton at the start of the battle, I specified it when he went to sleep and let Knyghton get them that Knyghton would give them back before the battle started.

Costy's a Level 20 wizzy, and he hasn't died yet. My death was a lag-kill in Oryx's castle, a particularly bad one where the screen froze for like fifteen seconds, and just when I was about to refresh the tab, it unfroze to a death screen. :( I managed to go through a Forbidden Jungle with my Necro, though! (A Spanish-speaking Warrior accompanied me. He Nexused out right before the god, so I had to solo the god, got a sweet ring for it!) Out of all the dungeons I've played so far, Forbidden Jungle is my fav. I could really use a decent wand and skull for my Necro...

So, to review: *Made it to Oryx 1, lived. *Made it to 150 Fame. Should I try for 400 Fame? It's a lot easier from here than it would be with a new char, and since I'm getting better with time...

Boo! Hiss! Well, thanks for getting me a definite answer, Doc. Hmm, WILL Jabba's Palace be available by the 4th? That's the only "big" set I've been looking at in Star Wars. Hmm...

Speaking of Hulk, I think the Hulk promo 'fig should be added to the poll, since he'll be generally available as opposed to the toyfair and other convention-exclusive 'figs.

Well, up to 84 Fame on this wizzy...more than halfway there! Killed a lich. Got a nice Ring of Greater Defense and Ring of Greater Speed, both of which I've now put on my mule. Solo'd a spider cave, almost shotgunned myself by stupidly using my spell in the middle of a room full of spider eggs. Bandit Leaders, Giant Crabs, Hobbit Mages, Undead Hobbit Mages, Elf Wizards, Dwarf Kings, and Goblin Mages all make excellent Fame farms. They also make epic mob raves that are fun to take out and earn lots of Fame. It feels odd to be going for Fame after so long just trying to hit Level 20...

OOC: If Davril deals damage to the onager twice, would Arthur take no damage (because the second hit would be directed at the Onager instead of him), or would 8 damage transfer over? Wait, Davril isn't ranged...that means he can't damage me this round! "Uh-oh. Boys, quick, Everyone but Helm, Xander, and Arasmyth, attack Davril now, while he's still Bound! Otherwise, I'm toast!" Arthur loads a large stone into the onager and launches it at Lord Davril. "Master Althior! Put me just after Master Arthur in the battle order, so that if his onager is damaged for some reason I can repair it.

As a matter of interest, do you think it would be possible for someone to recreate this using only parts from the new Dino Attack sets? How about just with parts from 5887 itself?

59 Fame now. Solo'd a death mage. wandered through godlands for FAR too long. Nerves are shot. more later. Anyone know of any kind of "reverse caffiene"?!?!?!???

Shame. Oh, well, I made 20 and unlocked Necro! I'm going to try for 150 Fame now, since i have 47. I figure, at about 20 Fame per Oryx trip, I can get to 150 in 6-7 trips. This doesn't count any Fame for fighting Oryx himself, so if I do that and survive it may take substantially fewer trips to his castle to reach a second star in the class.

Let the record show that I had to Nexus out of Oryx's castle just before the O1 portal appeared. Also, I'm at Level 19 and absolutely terrified to train with high-experience foes. Oh, the irony of getting to 20 on snakes and scorpions. Oh, do Fame bonuses like "Friend of the Cubes" count only starting from Level 20? Because if so, I am totally avoiding the cubes, even tho I accidentally killed one back at Level 10. Oh, also: to get to 19, I solo'd a bit of godlands. Crazy stuff, but I'm gaining confidence, once I go back to Warrior (or possibly Knight if I feel lucky) I'll be golden in godlands.

Oh, BTW, Tanma, Darkdragon, I believe Arthur sent one of those journals to Cinna via V-mail and/or A-mail. I'm quite interested to see the explanation Darkdragon has come up with for Cinna not finding the V-mail...she says she has one cooking...
