  1. "Let. Him. Go." OOC: Ready, thanks, sorry for the delay.
  2. Actually, it redirects to an ENEMY. Which does help the party quite a bit.
  3. I was actually considering it before I got the Cloak of Deception. Hmm...
  4. I just have to say that I LOVE Artifacts like the Strategist's Shako and the Robe of the Pongcanis Champion (Power in Front Row, SP in Back Row). I'd like to see a couple more Artifacts with different effects depending on Row.
  5. "If you've hurt him, I swear..." "Karie, save your Nostrum, I cast Luck on you earlier." OOC: Not Ready for battle.
  6. "Or I could just blast a hole in the wall with my Garnet, like I did to the Theatre. It's not a particularly effective trap, what's important is figuring out why. Is our captor really stupid enough to think this will keep us contained? Or is he waiting for us to bust out of this trap just in time to be ambushed--or caught in another trap. I say we climb out a window--I can use my Opal to create an ice slide if need be, or we can use the bedsheets as rope. I don't like the idea of taking the obvious way out--it's just TOO obvious, you know?"
  7. If I die from this unstoppable fit of laughter I'm blaming you, buddy.
  8. I can't be the only person who immediately thought of Crash Bandicoot after seeing those tribal masks...right?
  9. "I...uh..." Arthur rubs the back of his head awkwardly. "Huh. Didn't think of that. Don't think I've actually had to knock on a door in years--always ended up having to bust it down or else just waltzed right in." In response to the party's collective facepalm, Arthur turned around and knocked exceedingly lightly on Boomingham's door--it probably would have been louder if he'd taken a quill pen and gently tapped the door with the feather end instead of his knuckles.
  10. Arthur rolls his eyes. "So are we talking breaking THROUGH the door, or blowing it off its hinges entirely?"
  11. "Yeah. Got caught with my pants down--almost literally, actually. Creep got away before I could finish getting dressed."
  12. OOC: Hey, in the PM you said I had restored Ether from that nap, and I should be Hastened and Encouraged as well now. "Here," Arthur says blearily as he staggers into the room, setting the bottle from his room in front of Karie and making tons of spelling errors. "A bottle of...something...they gave me in my room. Didn't drink it 'cause I was sure the Stealer would have somehow tracked us down and poisoned it...but considering what happened last night, I don't think that was his plan. 'M lucky to be alive and in control of my own mind this morning, actually." At least I HOPE I wasn't whacked in my sleep...in either sense of the word.
  13. K-Nut: expect an earful on the capabilities of a Necromancer in the QM Lounge as soon as your Quest is over. @Q69: A "long bow" with the capability to "remove armor"...? Always knew Sylph was a perv.
  14. CJP, it's always been the case that rolls of Miss, Damage, and Special Damage against other Heroes are always counted as "MISS" rather than the targeted Hero striking back. Just so you know.
  15. It's rated "D" for Dannylonglegs.
  16. So give him a weapon, surely he has SOMETHING Sorrow can use. Also, I think I may have scared away Endgame permanently.
  17. I'm wondering why everyone is clamoring for the BTTF set when it would obviously be a MUCH better tie-in if they waited until 2015. Seriously, didn't anyone watch the second movie? I like this set. Not as much as I like Portal, but this is definitely a pretty cool one. I think it also demonstrates a lot better than Minecraft and BTTF what TLG what looking for from CUUSOO--it seems that they're not looking for big blockbusters, they're looking for smaller niche sets that they might not otherwise be able to justify. This is the general type of project we should expect out of CUUSOO, so hopefully the ideas submitted will be closer to TLG's ideal now, rather than all the big spectacular masterpieces that get all our hopes up only to be mercilessly crushed.
  18. Hey, HE's the one who refuses to turn around. I expect he'll be Enamored with Arthur in the next fight.
  19. I think the Stealer's into guys.
  20. What a brilliant head choice for De'kra! I'll have to find that head and use it in my own version of the fig. What face do you use for Arthur, by the way? I meant to ask in the QM Lounge after the end of 66, and simply forgot.
  21. So, in other words, the theme of Arthur: Conjurer of Chaos.
  22. OOC: Scroll of Luck costs 10 Ether, I'm afraid. Also, sorry for so little interaction, I'm just not feeling it today. "I'm heading up for the night, too." As he follows Karie upstairs, he quietly casts Luck on her as well, before turning back and casting his Scroll of Poisoning on Em's Aquabow. He then goes to his room and rests.
  23. Arthur sighs and points out the Mead he had placed beside Boomingham before he began talking to the two sailors. Walking a short distance away, he pulls out a Scroll and casts Luck on himself.
  24. "Odds that this is the Stealer gleaning supplies to make additional Harvesters rising..." Arthur mutters to Arnulf. Passing by the Progg larvae, Arthur asks, "So, you all have names, or am I going to have to call your orange friend 'And Stuff'?" He chuckles lightly at his joke.
  25. Arthur carries the Mead to Boomingham with brisk professionalism, then overhears the two men speaking of the Ji Pei cargo. "What sort of cargo, exactly? Have there been any leads as to who took it?" A sinking feeling in Arthur's stomach tells him he already knew the answer, and that he wouldn't like it.
