Mitgardia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion

There are a lot of PaB stores there, aren't there? Anyway, I am really happy with the PaB-Store in Lille (France) as it is just half an hour driving for me -

Made 2 32x32 builds this weekend, and already took the pictures, but the uploading will be for one of the next days So the good thing is that I have the 3 builds who are necessary for the Chal VI entry. I also have already the story. The bad thing is that those 3 builds only illustrate the first Chapter of my chal VI story. But my brother bought Helm's Deep recently and hasn't started yet on it. So I hope I can make something out of it too (as that will be the only Lego I have in the next 2 weeks ) -

Hmmn never had that chance to find medieval soldiers You lucky bastard! But last time I visited a PaB store (the big one in Berlin), they had complete Imperial Guards in the build a minifig station. So I can consider myself lucky too (as my Elite Archers are based on them) -
There are indeed a lot of other variatons on the panel technique as well, it will all depend on how many arches/plates/bricks you have And I always thought it was only in french that they said "technique"

I only have one silver dwarven helmet, so it will be only Lohp who will be portrayed in the next MOC (which will be uploaded tomorrow)- 45 replies

Challenge VI- Not really an unexpected journey
Maxim I replied to Maxim I's topic in Guilds of Historica
They will be mentionned It is the task of Team Helmet to bring the helmet to Everlast in one piece But thanks for mentionning the "releasing the questing heroes", I forgot that part So Uurd Huurg will probably cross my storyline and can crush the helmet as much as he wants in Everlast (together with some rituals and so on) But the crushing of the helmet will be a freebuild after Chall VI ended About the Squire, as he is one of the Wall Guards, he will have to stay inside Mpya Stedor, so I fear he won't show up yet (Simply because I already made my army of Imperial Guards for Brickmania Wetteren in 3 weeks)- 45 replies

Wait...I thought I joined Ameribricks!?!?!
Maxim I replied to Curtis's topic in Hello! My name is...
Welcome to EURObricks There are a lot of themes to choose from, so it is up to you -
Nice little tower Brickington! Really great job on making it round! On a general note: I still don't get it why Avalonians like to build their towers, walls and houses just like it need only one little hit before they will collapse I mean, it really looks like all those Avalonian buildings have survived a big storm and nobody really restored them afterwards

[Moc] Queens's carriage and Medieval cottage
Maxim I replied to aemil's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is really amazing!! I love the carriage!! Also a fantastic way to let the (stunning) queen sit down! -
Yeah ofcourse, I mean, in my GoH-mocs both the norsemen as the desert nomads are yellow, so that's not really what I wanted to say I just wanted to say that mixing fleshies and yellows is, historically seen, not a bad thing thing to do
-
And I still think it is absolutely no problem to mix fleshies and yellows in a MOC. Even in the medieval times, there was already a lot of skin mixture in the important European and Arabian harbours. Those who still want them all to be the same race (that's your decision), even in a same race, people can have different shades of skin. So why focusing on just the fleshies or just the yellows? There are a lot of great minifigs you miss by eleminating the others

Maxim I replied to Si-MOCs's topic in Guilds of Historica
My great & mighty brothers and sisters of Kaliphlin, Those who read the first part of my entry (Not really an unexpected journey) will know that Lord Damaximus will besiege Cedrica. I know a lot of us sent troops to our brothers in need in Queenscross, but those who still have an extra army spare: feel free to join our army! Just post a painting (aka picture) of a bunch of soldiers/monsters together and you are in! Post it in my Chal VI topic. I am not going to make another epic battle again, so they will just be mentionned in the story But only send troops if you are still able to defend your cities without those brave men! deadline: 20 April note: also keep the whole month of June free as my coronation is planned then -

Challenge VI- Not really an unexpected journey
Maxim I replied to Maxim I's topic in Guilds of Historica
Hmmm, basically seen, I have to count that right, because the titles and the global story are indeed a parody of LOTR So I edited the intro, I am looking for another famous movie as well. But probably, you will have to wait for the next parts- 45 replies

My first ones where without arch as well. But by using an arch, the gaps disappear (and it's much more solid)
-
It is hanging straight thanks to the gravity. But maybe by used shields or panels, it can be a bit loose, so always check before shooting
-
You're welcome Like I just edited in the tutorial, it leaves 2 very small gaps (<1mm²). But those are only visable with the eye, almost never with a camera. To avoid that, you can use the panel 1x1x1 (see tutorial )
-
Indeed an excellent arch technic! I first thought it were the brickbuilt walls of TLC Also a super idea of doing the landscaping! It reall works well
