Wait, a whatcube? Also, thanks for the suggestion. DSR

Right now, most definately Disturbed. On the old-school list, Ozzy Osbourne (Mostly Crazy train and I Don't Wanna Stop), Metallica, AC/DC, Queen, Guns N Roses, and other oldschool rock/metal. I really prefer oldschool metal to new age metal. The music is cool, but I prefer less screaming and yelling about death and murder. DSR

Favourite Cheese (dont hide fellow EBers)
Dark Sword Ragnarok replied to I Scream Clone's topic in Community
Mmmm, goat cheese. Great with some plain cheese crackers. And for sandwiches, Swiss. Yes, I am American. Leave me alone. At least I don't eat American cheese. Bleagh. DSR -
Well, yeah, I'm a teenager, but I don't see what that has to do with it. And, yeah, i'm on sort of a tight budget. Like, below 200 bucks, I think? my parent's are kind of cheap, but it doesn't help that the economy here is going down the crapper right now. THanks for the suggestion, though. How much is one? DSR

1.Well, my camera takes enourmous pics, and they arent very good quality most of the time. Is there an option to shut this off, or a program to use? My dad never wants to download stuff because he's OCD, so most of them are out. 2. Well, yeah, I figured that out a while ago. I just figured it was because my camera was crap. 3. Well, the reason I said that was because there are two cameras in my household, both are Kodaks. My sister's is a pink one, I don't know what model, and I use that one the most. It sucks most of the time, too. My dad's is great for furniture and such (he's in furniture repair) but not so great for Lego. My photography has improved since I aquired a tripod, since when you aren't using a flash, the shutter time is considerably longer, making it much easier for a blurry pic to occur, as i'm sure most of us know. Another problem is I don't have room to really set up a good place to take pics at. Any sugesstions on that? Yeah, it probably is by now. But, I'll look it up anyway! DSR

IJ: The Gun is Even Mightier than the Sword
Dark Sword Ragnarok replied to JimBee's topic in LEGO Licensed
Ha, great scene, this was also a favorite of mine. You know, a little known fact I learned from a friend(he's a IJ freak, i'm a SW freak) is that Ford was actually supposed to have a long, dramatic swordfight with the samurai, but unfortunately, he came down with a really bad flu (I think, it might have been something else) and was in no condition for the filming. Being low on time, and Lucas being the genious he is, they cut out the scene and just had Indy shoot him instead. It was a nice save, and a funny one at that! Great work! DSR -
Hey guys, My birthday was a few days back and my parents said they would get me a camera. So, what I need to know is, what sort of camera is good for photographing legos? I need something good for taking close up picks, as well as overviews and such. In comic-creating, there are a hell of a lot of close-ups. However, the camera I'm using now is a Kodak Easyshare, and it frankly blows. At least, for close ups and flash. And, the pictures it takes are FREAKING ENOURMOUS! It takes me hours to resize them in paint, then upload to brickshelf. It really seems to dislike Lego. So, what camera would some of the expert picture-takers out there reccomend? The main things I'm looking for are: Good, clear close up shots; small sized pics(not extremely huge, like 1000x1000, like Kodak does ) ; something with a good flash that doesn't screw up yellow tones or anything else, like fraking Kodak; something that takes really good quality pictures (good enough that Photoshop isn't necesarry, because I don't have it) and something with decent battery life, preferrably rechargable pack. So, can you help me out here, guys? Thanks, DSR

The Unknown Sith

Oh, wow, this is what happens when you don't take a Geography class. Well, glad you like Za'Kraan (yes, that's how I spell it.) DSR -
What? When was the Falcon in Ep. III? And why would Han even own it at the time? Or know Lando? Considering Luke's age in Ep. IV, where would that put Han at at the end of Ep. III? Really REALLY young? DSR

Clever! Maybe Zakakran? I don't know, I want something that sounds really awesome and evil when someone yells it. Also, I hope Ike doesn't affect you. I'm sure if you called him Darth Grumpy, he'd electrocute you. I think Kazakstan sounds supsisiosly like a country. DSR -

Might as well be in this time around, since the last two didn't work out for me. DSR -

Haha, maybe I'll use that later, for someone else. But for now, Darth Za'kraan is sounding pretty good. (I assume that's what you meant by Zuurkan, right?) Was that just made up on the spot? If so, pretty creative. But, I don't really think that name is suitable for this particular character, you know? Maybe later on. Thanks anyway, though! Keep the comments coming! DSR -
LEGO opens new brand stores

Well, the one in Arden is definately the best, but I was expecting a lot more than that. I don't think it would even be worth it for me. Oh well. DSR -

Maybe this would get more response as a poll? Could someone make it a poll? Thanks, DSR -

Oh yeah, I forgot I had a whole other thread for my characters. Oh well, this is different anyway. Thanks for your input! Maybe I'll use Tyron for someone else.... Oops, I've said too much! Shhh, nothing to see here, walk away slowly...... Well, I based it off an imaginary name, Zakra. Made it up when playing FF III. I named everyone names that started with Z. I thought Zakra-Za'Kraan, you know, kind of cool. Rapheal is kind of cool, too. Rafiel-Rapheal? Anyway, maybe this should be made into a poll? DSR -
Okay, so, BL order coming in soon, getting prepared for my next comic. Now, I've been debating over the name for my unknown sith warrior from my third comic. The names I've narrowed down to are Darth Za'Kraan (Za-Cran) or Darth Rapheal (Ra- feel). If anyone has any other possible names, feel free to suggest them. Otherwise, just say what one you prefer. LEGO opens new brand stores
Dark Sword Ragnarok replied to Hinckley's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Ah, one just 45 minutes away, at Arden Fair! YAY! Neever been to a Lego store, well, ever, so looking forward to it. Does anyone know how big the make and take set is? And what exactly does make and take mean? You have to build it in store or something? I can't go on the day they are giving the set away(Marching Band Competition, we leave at 4:30 AM) so i'm going to see if one of my parents or my friend will go for me. DSR -

Dark Sword Ragnarok replied to -JD-'s topic in LEGO Star Wars
Sorry! Well, as of now, I have no CW Clones. I do have two Shock Troopers and the clone from whatever that one walker is. Don't know the name, don't feel like looking it up. And 3 Clone Pilots from the ARC-170. Thats it so far, getting an original Clone BP soon. DSR -
New BrickArms Prototypes!
Dark Sword Ragnarok replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Love the Spas. The gunblade is great. I can even use the revolver for my SW MOC's. If anyone has played SW Knights of the Old Republic I, the revolver looks like Calo Nord's pistols. This definately makes me want to get some of these! DSR -
Nice tie. Also, great use of the Nightwing (or is it Robin's?) head. DSR

How many Clone Wars clones do you have?
Dark Sword Ragnarok replied to -JD-'s topic in LEGO Star Wars
You know, I actually wanted to get some minifigs from sets I can't afford this way, but I wanted to pay for them. Then, I figured out that if you try to order whole figs at once, they want you to provide a Proof of Purchase code from the front of the manual. I never even knew they were there, till I looked on one of my manuals. Its a long digit-only code, printed in white, extremely small, on the bottom of the front page of the manual. I don't think it was dishonest if TLC was stupid enough to send him the parts without a bill. That actuall happened to me once with some Bionicle parts I wanted extra of. I got the price in an email, decided it wasn't worth it, then two weeks later, I got a little padded envelope in the mail, and lo and behold, TLC had sent me the parts on accident. I guess every once in a while, these things slip through. DSR -
[Comic] Even the Empire hates Megablocks
Dark Sword Ragnarok replied to Dark Sword Ragnarok's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Yeah, megabloks usually takes the general idea of something that's selling good and makes a cheap, crappy version. Also, double post. C&C always welcome! DSR
