  1. Thanks, Justin! C&C always welcome! DSR
  2. Hey guys, This is my first shot at a quick diorama. I put it together with some spare parts I had, then dissasembled it because I needed the parts for a MOC i'm working on. So, without further adieu, the Empire disposing of some megablocks on the Death Star. I tried to do the background with just a few parts. An overview. Black R2 unit FTW!!!! "Think stealth, you are not carrying a missle on your back, no one notices you...." "Move along. Nothing to see here. Official Imperial business. Move along." See anyone ususual? A cameo appearance! Jessa, from my comics. Guess who! Even Darth Vader, the most bad-megablocks villain ever, despises Megablocks! Just how DV and Tarkinn are held in place. I have the rest of DV, but it was easier to place him this way. One more shot. Just shows the Stormtrooper taking out the trash, smashing it in with a megablock. Anyway, hope you liked my first diorama! I know, I really need to find a better place to take my pics. Look for another diorama from me soon! Next time, something desert-y. Need to use that new baseplate for something! DSR
  3. Oh sure, it's 40 bucks NOW..... It was fifty when I posted. On topic, I am still loving my Luminara fig. Expect to see her in an upcoming comic, ans soon as MY FRAKKING BRICKLINK ORDER SHIPS!!!!!! Darn you US postal system! DSR
  4. That really sucks. Can't say I haven't been there. Keep at it, find a new fish! Yeah, don't do that. Never a good idea, trust me. Well, on topic, I got some more legos from my friend, and he bought Star Wars: KOTOR I for Xbox, but he wouldn't let me play it. I'm gonna by it off him anyway as soon as I get money. DSR
  5. I really like all the new sets, actually. Clone BP- I'm not really a big fan of chicken-walkers, but I have to say, this beats the crap out of the speeder from the original BP. Plus, Commander armor, which I have yet to get. And, 4 clones! YAAAAAAY!!!!! Assassin Droid BP- Not sure about the speeder, but, it has some dark blue parts, which makes it good in my book! 5 blasters, yay! and, the whole point of the pack, 5 IG-86's! And two are black, cool. Hyena Bomber- I actually really like this set. Plus the droids are awesome! AAT- Simply beautiful! Dark blue FTW! Plus a bonus clone and Yoda remake to boot! TIE Advanced- Not really different than the old one, except gray instead of blue. I might get it for parts and DV, though. Republic Attack Shuttle- This is just, awesome! Dark red is the best color IMO. I will finally be able to get a non-LUL Mace Windu, hooray! Just my few cents. DSR
  6. I like this quite a lot, actually. The color scheme is especially creative, and uses a difficult and rare color. My one tip would be stop using imageshack, too many popups and not as great of service as sites like Flickr. Actually, I highly reccomend using flickr, and brickshelf.com for deeplinking. That's what I use (most likely cuz I don't know how to deeplink flickr images. ) DSR
  7. Count me in! DSR
  8. Yeah, if I want to spend over 50 USD for a non-LUL. Seriously, look.
  9. No, I just don't want them... All I need is a Mace, preferrably not a LUL. If there was a non-LUL Luminara, I would get her in a heartbeat!
  10. So, is this like, an open-docking kind of ship? It looks like a small fighter could fly in and dock that way. Or maybe it just isn't finished. Personnally, I like the first dosign's command Bridge, it reminds me of a freighter starship.
  11. Well, I recently got a LUL Luminara from a friend, and I love it! If only she came in a non-LUL version, but meh. I also got a LUL Vader, but the battery is out. My friend said if he found another Vader, he'd let me swap them. Now, all I need is a Mace Windu... DSR
  12. Well, spent the night at a friend's house, played some Halo 3 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2. He got an iPhone, and he offered me his Palm Centro, but I gave it back after a few hours of use. I'd rather stick to my Motorola Slvr, something I'm used to. Went to see the Mummy 3 originally, but I decided since I hadn't seen the first two, we should see something else. So, we saw Stepbrothers with Will Ferrel instead. A lot of cussing, and a scene in which you see Will's, well, sack on a drum set. It was gross, you'd have to see the movie to know why he did it. Since I bought his brother a slushie at the theatre, when we got home, he gave me a bunch of stuff from his lego bin. LUL Luminara , Wookie Cheiftan, Yoda, Ep. III Obi Wan (without hairpiece ), a stormtrooper, black R2-unit, Ep. III Anakin, Grand Moff Tarkin, and some parts from the Millenium Falcon and Star Destroyer, and a few extra parts. He was supposed to give me his LUL and regular Darth Vader, but he couldn't find either. I guess me and Darthy just aren't ment to be. I was going to take his Jango Fett instead of Tarkin, but his arms and head were so loose it wasn't even funny, Not to mention his face was almost completely worn off. Plus, my grandmother just returned from a trip to her old house (My uncle rents it from her now) and she brought home all my uncle's old legos! There might not be much left, because she let all the kids who played with them take what they built home. But, hey, free classic legos! I'm hoping for some old Space figs! All in all, a pretty good day. Now, to wait for my BL order to arrive! DSR
  13. This is great, Rook! I love the Jedi and the yellow/black Droideka! It's like a wasp. Also, nice dragonish creature, Dragonator will love that! And, are those zombie troops, or some kind of skeletal alien? Quite a bit of room in there, too! DSR
  14. Thanks! I love my figs too, I think they're pretty neat! Thanks for reading, I can't wait do do the next one! I've got something big planned... Come on BL order, arrive already! DSR
  15. Well, went for option 1. Final price was 128.09, with S&H. I will definately buy from him again! Now, to get the check in the mail and wait! DSR
  16. Well, it's hard to recreate England in the future (well, technically the past, but whatever) without ever have been there at all, if you kow what I mean. Anyway, this comic was just something to do between comics, sort of. And I needed to get Jessa captured somehow, that'll come in later. DSR
  17. Oh, well then... it souded like you were trying to be funny, you know, because Imperious sounds like "imperial".... I shall consider it! (along with the others). By the way, i'm still taking ideas. I want something that sounds really cool when someone says it without saying "Darth" first. Like "Imperious!" or something. You know, that actually does sound kind of nice...Decisions, decisions! Well, it will be a while till he comes back, so plenty of time to think! DSR
  18. Hey guys, back again with a new comic! This time around, Jack recalls his trip to England that made him hate Brits so much. No, it probably won't make any sense, but who cares! A lot of the comedy in this one is based on the Billygoat Caller movie on youtube, by Dom Fera, the creator of the Lazer collection. (a shoop da whoop video) If you don't understand the comic, search the billygoat caller on youtube and watch parts 1,2 and 3 of Billygoat Caller:The Movie (slight language, just a warning). Then, it will hopefully make some sense to you. Anyway, let's get started! Characters: Jack (J) Jessa (JE) Two-fourteen (214) Mystery Character (M) Republic Base:Blaster Training area. Three days since the Mysterious Sith warrior attack J: Great training session, guys. 214: Hey Jack, can I ask you something? J: Sure, what is it? 214: Well, when we first met, Adam said you had a bad experience in England. What happened? J: Well, it's kind of hard to say, but fine, I'll tell you. It all started when I went to a club in London, on my trip to England right before the War started... J: I was enjoying a nice, exotic tea, when all of a sudden... M: Billygoat. J: Ah, Holy God! J: That was weird, oh well. M: Enjoying your tea? J: Ah, who's there!?! J: "So, I gulped down the rest of the tea and left." M: Billygoat. J: " I had no idea what was happening, I figured the drink was spiked or something, but..." J: "For days, I kept hearing it.... Billygoat....I'm going to eat your toes while you're sleeping!..." J: "But everytime I looked, there wasn't anyone there." J: Eventually, I snapped. I took the next ship out of England, and I've never been back since. 214: Whoah, that...actually makes sense... it's crazy, but... I get it now. Sort of. Je: Jack, that's just stupid. It makes no sense at all! J: Aw, whatever. Let's go to the Rec Room and relax. Je: You know, your story is really stupid. What are the chances of something like that happening? Je: Ah! You know what, Jessa.... J: What the.... 214: Dude, that sucks. J: Oh, son of a... EXTRAS Well, there's only one, really. GROUP SHOT! Hope you guys enjoyed this one! DSR
  19. Well, maybe you don't remember, but in the HP sets, don't remember what year, there was a set with just Hermione and two Diagon Alley shops (basically two 8x8 plates, with a rack of lightsaber blades for "desighner wands" and a drawer with a frog) if I remember right. It also had a cardboard cutout of the walls of the shops. Quite an uneventful set, but it had Hermione with civilian clothes. So, if Lego can't find a way to sneak Padme and C3P0 into a set, her apartment would be a perfect solution. Plus, Hasbro can't get on Lego about having figure packs for SW. Win win situation in my eyes. DSR
  20. Well, it turns out I have less funds than I had thought. So, I have listed what I'm getting for sure, then the extra options. For Sure: 8 Droid BPs w/o figs $23.60 1 Clone BP with figs $14.95 OPTION 1: 2 Droid BPs with figs $15.84 2 Gen. Grievous Fighters w/o Grievous $15.90 2 Rouge Shadows w/o figs $39.90 OPTION 2: 3 Droid BPs with figs $23.70 1 Gen. Grievous Fighter w/o Grievous $7.95 2 Rouge Shadows w/o figs $39.90 OPTION 3 2 Droid BPs with figs $15.84 2 Gen. Grievous Fighters w/o Grievous $15.90 1 Rouge Shadow and 1 Hailfire/Dwarf Spider Droid BP $38.95 OPTION 4 3 Droid BPs with figs $23.70 1 Gen. Grievous Fighter w/o Grievous $7.95 1 Rouge Shadow and 1 Hailfire/Dwarf Spider Droid BP $38.95 All of the options average around $110. Plus shipping, around $20. That covers my new budget, around $130 USD. Whitch option souds the best, 1,2,3, or 4? DSR
  21. Wow, this is really good, Fat Tony! If the wheels were a size bigger, it would be just about perfect! I especially like the size of the Batpod compared to the minifig. Compared to the others, your Batpod fits a minifig the best! DSR
  22. I thought he wasn't. And I momentarily forgot about Maul. Also, thanks for the links! DSR
  23. Does Vader not count? And is Grievous even a sith? He can't use the force, so I thought he didn't count. DSR
  24. KimT, that is really strange. My set had the old version. Maybe you got a bunch of defects? Anyway, a tip on the Magnaguard staff,, on the side with the fat area, put the purple cone on the other side of the fat side, so it's on the end. Then, when you want to load it into the back of the fighter, push down the cone on the side without the fat part, and stick it in the holder. This way, the staff looks better and still works the same! Also, the Magnaguard's legs are supposed to go all the way up to the black arm, then the arm flods down to (kind of) hold it in place. My solution? Add a bar or minifig handlebar onto the black arm, and have the Magnaguard hold onto it. Works for me! DSR
  25. Thanks, I had an F-16 in mind when I was building it. Yeah, I really enjoyed using only parts from the set. No digging in bins! Thanks! Haha, don't know if I can make instructions, but I'm sure you could replicate it without them! DSR
