  1. From the pics of the Gunship, can we at least hope that it's more swooshable then the "current" #7676? And is it kind of a cross between the #7676 and the older #7163? Looks to be longer then the #7163, like the #7676, but with the cargo gun mounts .
  2. The minifigs are nice, but the rest....
  3. Yeah, looks like the 6887 (that I don't have it either) has most of the necessary parts. The dark blue wings would have to come from either BL or the 30250 as you suggested. Well, looks like I'll have to order one 76004 and two 6867 . Thanks for the info!
  4. Guys, do you need a boat load of parts fpr this? I mean, would it be easy to get the necessary parts through BL? I don't have this set yet, but I really would like for the car to be blue instead of that silly green, so maybe I could get the parts even before getting the set.
  5. Absolutely awesome! I loved the small details you put in it!
  6. Really? That's good to hear . Well, not that good, since it means I get to spend money...
  7. Thanks for the support! The site looks legit and all, but I would like to hear how an actual transaction went. And yes, they're definitively not cheap, which makes me even more hesitant to go ahead .
  8. I was hoping to hear some real experiences with them .
  9. Not trying to defend Lucas here, but almost everyone does the same when it comes to Hollywood.
  10. Come on guys, no one has dealt with them before ?
  11. Sorry if this is in the wrong section to ask this, and if so please refer me to the right place, but I'm thinking of buying a few of Little Legends' custom minifigs. Has anyone dealt with them before? How did it go? Any feedback would be appreciated. TIA !
  12. Very cool man, congrats!
  13. Ditto! It looks "factory-made".
  14. Most impressive! I would like to see more pics, but your link is for members only.
  15. What would be an "illegal building technique" ? To glue parts together?
  16. Frigintastic! Ant idea of how many bricks were used? And only 1×1 bricks?!?
  17. One more vote!
  18. That is OUTSTANDING! Really, UCS good 9or better!)!!! If you do submit it to Cuuso, let us know so that we can vote on it!
  19. Thanks guys! I know the canon-followers are getting cross-eyed mad at me, but as I said I wanted it to look like a tank, not an APC as what it looks like in the PT and CW cartoons. If my kids give me a break this afternoon I'll get busy with the undercarriage.
  20. Today I had some free time so I took a few shots of how the big tank is looking . I think I'm (finally) done with the exterior, so now the next step is the undercarriage . Here's how the brute is looking right now: Since the Juggernaut is not truly in scale, that lone trooper sitting topside was bothering me. It made the tank look smaller and I was a bit worried that the guy may catch a flu or something. So I deleted that puny gun and replaced it with a big anti-aircraft blaster: It's remotely controlled from the rear cabin, and can also be used as an anti-personnel weapon (truly makes minced meat of anyone who comes in it's way). I was also afraid that this big behemoth could be vulnerable to infantry, so up front (on the each side panels) I added a small double blaster, that can also be used as an AA weapon, though with a limited range. I altered the barrel of the main canon and switched the position of the antenna and radar. Under both cabins I added a swiveling Gatling gun, double up front, so that the tank can be basically secure from infantry attack. I deleted the stock canons that were pinned to the sides under the front cabin, that beside looking anemic, were very fragile and always fell off. The new Gatlings are much more sturdy, and the whole tank is more "swooshable" then it was stock. Besides the weapons, I messed around with a few details, like position of the head lights, colors and a few details that to my eye made the tank a bit better. And for the rear cabin I finally got the perfect wedge plate for the floor, so no more gaps: For the front cabin's floor there's nothing I can do beyond what I already did if I want the side panels to close . I did switch some of the controls in there, but only now I realized that I didn't make a shot of that section . I basically used some gray sloped bricks instead of the black ones and it looks more harmonic now, even better then what you now see on the rear cabin. The problem is that there's not many gray sloped bricks with printed control panels, so I would have to use the same bricks more then once, something I was hoping to avoid. But looking at the picture above, things are too black for my tastes, so I guess I don't have much choice if I want this cabin to look better... I have the parts and ideas to start messing with the undercarriage, but I wanted to finish the exterior, guns and cabins first. I also tried a different pair of wheels to have an idea of how the tank would look with some rubber, but the wheels I got (56×30R) were visually too small. If I done my research correctly Lego has a bigger tire then that, so maybe it will be possible to use different wheels/tires. Yep, BrickLink time .
  21. My Boba only has the light gray piece on the gun because I can't find a black one to replace it . It really doesn't work with the light gray connector. But smolkbelch's pic is awesome!
  22. Sometimes a topic like this will slow down, since you have to have the combination of a good subject, opportunity and (specially) inspiration to come up with something post-worthy.
