I bought two of those impulse sets while in Canada, and after paying $5 each for them I needed to make one of them a little bit more interesting.

I don't think it's ruined forever, just not as good as it was. I think it started going downhill as soon as we started seeing Bionicle commercials with pop music and chain-link fences in the backround, and Piraka sitting on their butts in a warehouse blowing bubbles. That, and the fact that we were getting a storyline dictated by release dates and Toa not using their elemental gifts, but guns, that Bionicle went downhill. To tell the truth, I didn't think to get much of a look at the 2008 sets. Perhaps you're right, I think it's entirely possible that the line is getting back to where it was, I guess I'll just have to look and see for myself and hope for the best.

We also don't have Jar Jar wearing the Jabba's slave outfit, nor do we have pink battle droids, but no one seems to be complaining about that...

I'm just going to wait a little longer to decide what I think is real. These sets are just less thank a year away and already we're getting lists? Just a question, though-- why do we want tauntauns so bad?

Thanks for the feedback! The bridge is actually a bit sturdier than one might think, but still does come apart sometimes. Maybe it could be a trick bridge to make enemies fall through? I'll see If I can find some kind of brown lid for the cart... do they make brown hinged pieces? Thanks, good luck with that!

Just gonna show a few little castle MOCs I made Bridge Treasure Cart, made mostly from 2 crossbow attack sets (minus the compass, of course ) Ballista (It works!! ) And after hearing all about them, how could I not try for myself to make a set in a bag? Same problem here... maybe they did this on purpose so that people would actually buy more droid battle packs? I haven't had that much of a quality problem (aside from what I just mentioned.) I would expect that headlight pieces and other really small ones would be more susceptible to cracking.

Sir Nadroj made one just like you mentioned, you might want to talk to him about the decal. For the hair, just BL it.

One resistance fighter struggles to hold off the approaching zombies whilst the other fires up the copter for takeoff. Well this topic kinda died about a month ago, but I had another idea so I decided to add it onto here instead of posting a new topic... what about UCS lightsabers? You know, it could be just the hilt, maybe on a display stand, they can make different ones for different characters,maybe about $20 each. Any thoughts, or are you going to let my thread just die... again?

These rumors tell us nothing. We have two people, both with friends who work for Lego and under 10 posts. I don't think we should even list them as rumors, because we all knew it would be one of the two already. Sorry to be upset like this, it's just someone's obviously lying.

Great job, reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer went to hell's "Ironic Punishment Department" and was force fed thousands of donuts. He ate them all, and the torture failed miserably. Good use of sausage!
