I went to my local Target today and found that all Clone Wars sets were 10% off! I bought the Torrent for only $50, so you'll be able to get all these CW sets for the prices they should have been listed for! Not sure whether it was just my location or chain-wide, but if it is chain wide the sale goes till the 9th. Reason for edit: un-2-year-oldized my writing

I liked them at the time, but now I kinda wish that I had a real Mace Windu Figure. it makes me upset to see Bricklink selling him for over $50 and knowing that theres not really any way I'll be getting him any timw soon. If you have the regular minifig, I'll trade you my light up!

I don't know... wasn't the V-19 £50 for you guys? we only have to pay $55.

Sorry to just jump into the thread here, but are these minis technically categorized as impulse sets? Thanks, just wondering... Oops, too many big words

20004 Indiana Jones BrickMaster Exclusive Review
Faramir replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
Looks really nice, if they keep making BM sets like this, I might actually subscribe... Nice comic too, remind me not to run into Copmike and his gloveless hand... -
Make that 3! I was skeptical at first about spending $70, but I'm so glad I did!

Thanks! I finished a similar one a few days ago, but it didn't really turn out the way I'd hoped, so thanks for this great contribution! *Awards Medal of Greatness*

Forgot I made this for a while, (sorry!) So I'll get to some responses now. True, but if you look at it, the only really "UCS" thing about it was the stand and card. Not any extra amount of detail, and about the same size, if not smaller, than the 2007 version. Maybe $10 could be a bit too small. No offense to the builder of course, but TLG could probably put together a larger, $30 bike with greebles, detail, and about 300 pieces. That sounds fair to me. Lots of other good ideas there that I hadn't even considered! I'd love to see how Lego could make darth Maul's bike

Sorry, but yes, this has already been seen.

I decided that instead of biting my way through a bunch of guys in costumes, I'll just run out to Target on about and hour No offense to those costumed

It's out already, silly muffin!

Harvey "Two-Face" Dent *Finished*
Faramir replied to SirNadroj's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I like it a lot, but I think you should consider making a decal for him. If you remember, he wore the same suit again, and the suit had also been burned on the left side. Just an idea, looks great. -
I've been thinking about all of the UCS Star Wars sets, how all of them look really great to me but I never have the money to buy them after everything else. That got me thinking about the ideas of smaller UCS sets-- not to change the scale, as thats what it's all about, but if TLC made some sets of smaller vehicles that would cost, say, about $30-$50. Maybe a speeder bike, or a JSF? Tell me what you think, just curious.

Something about that seems familiar... and yet... yet... Nah, I got nothing. Where o where did you get the idea?
-
Hmm, you're right. I think he loses some of the evilness of his face and ends up looking more like Hinckley If I just take it out. I'll see what I can do.

This is my first try making a head decal, so I'd like some feedback. I chose the Dark Knight Joker, as it was still fresh in my head. I made it using MS Paint, as although my computer has Photoshop, I don't really know how to use it. I think it came out ok... I had trouble with the mouth, I'm not sure if that's right... Just tell me what you think, so I can improve. Thanks!

I think it'll be really hard, after this movie, to make another sequel that can match it. Whatever villain they do choose, he/she'll have to be good.

You're forgetting the AT-AP from this year, with ep3 shock troopers Still, I agree with you. You're forgetting the AT-AP from this year, with ep3 shock troopers Still, I agree with you. For this attack shuttle that's appeared... could this be the Emperor's Theta class shuttle shown in episode 3? It seems the like another possibility to me. Lastly, judging by the sets in the list, I'd guess $10 battlepacks $20 TIE Fighter $30 Bomber/AAT $40 AAT/Bomber $50 Attack Shuttle THESE ARE JUST MY GUESSES, DON'T ASSUME THEY'RE REAL.

Well the Joker sure seems to know how to do a good pencil trick! I feel that it was an amazing last part for Heath Ledger, and that he should definitely win an Oscar. Although I enjoyed the first one very much, Dark Knight was much better. The Joker might have been one of my favorite movie characters of all time, and the way he exploited humanity in chaos was amazing. I wanted to see it again as soon as it was over!

Which Sticker Would You Use On Your Republic Gunship
Faramir replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'll probably want to buy extras of those slope pieces, that way I'll be able to switch them whenever I want. Since I won't know the meanings of either until I've seen the movie, I'm not yet sure which one I'll want for show. In short, I voted both. -
I also agree completely. Saw it right after work today, now I want to see it again. Makes me want to see someone make a tumbler with the cycle inside!

Then the race is on!

Yay for New York! Finally, can't wait to get it. Going to check Palisades Lego Store tomorrow, hoping for luck. Still need one more paycheck though!

Would that happen to be an American Target? That would be great... Great review! Looking forward to getting this and finally having some guards to stand next to my Greivous!

!Yo tengo una vaca en mis pantalones! ?Y tu? Mostly came here to say that, but I'd also suggest painting an old Johnny Thunder orange with some patterns, perhaps.
