  1. Never too early to post pics right? :-D Anyway...certainly a posed pic with with a stuffed horse. Obviously I could have used some barding, but LEGO doesn't make them that big. :'-( So now I just need an avi and I'll be all set!
  2. I voted for Sinner. That thing is a beast! I really liked the look of SirNadroj's also, but I had to go with Sinner's cause it looks like a ship I would want to 'swoooosh' around the room. *wub* :-D
  3. I voted for Admiral Woodhouse. When making decision I first split it down between the soldiers-guards and the pirates-islanders. I opted for the soldiers & guards because I always liked uniformity. :-$ So then it was the choice between Imperial Guards or Soldiers, and I debated, coming to the conclusion that while Broadside had possibly the greatest fortification, Woodhouse had control over commercial investments, and I think that was the deciding factor for me.
  4. How cool would that be? And they could even use the same astro droid from the Imperial Star Destroyer. A great (and good looking :-P ) ship for a possible future release.
  5. Haha, yea my Vladek's Dark Fortress looks more like Vladek's Mediocre Fortress after 'stealing' some black bricks for something else. :-$ Well actually I am very fond of the big modular sets like Cafe Corner and Market Street. I really hope another addition to them comes soon! Thanks! I currently have bids on two, but it is still far too early to tell. I'm declaring them early Christmas presents to excuse the impending high prices. :-D Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes!
  6. This is actually the topic that finally provoked me to join the forums today. I went on ebay looking for a ITP, and found one MISB. Of course I bid on it, and hopefully I'll win X-D , but it just looks like one of those gems. Personally I love the layout, how there are several different buildings all around the focus of TRADE, something commercial that is truely rare, and leave it to the classics to remind us of what could be ahead. :'-) Regardless, I voted for the ITP because it has a great assortment of figs, a teriffic layout, and a just plain good-looking set. Hopefully I'll be owning one sooner than later. :-P
  7. I've always been a fan of battle packs, who hasn't X-D , but they were few up until recently. Checking the set numbers around the last battle packs and these new ones, there are still two sets left in the gap, possibly hinting at more BPs in the future. But then again that could just be wishful thinking. I really like the Rogue Shadow, as I always thought it would be neat for Vader to have his own small(er) ship besides his TIE Fighter.
  8. The set pics are freaking amazing, and I can't wait to buy multiples of the two ground-based vehicle sets. I kind of missed the boat with Adventurers, but then again there weren't really any generic qualities about them like there are here.
  9. Hey, I'm Rick, a proud fan of LEGO. I've been a member of Classic-castle for awhile now, and finally decided to join up here, afterall I have been reading through this forum for months as if I was a member. :-P Anyway, I'm not much of a MOCer, as I just can't seem to take apart my sets after I've built them, leaving my spare parts bucket a wee-bit empty. :-D I have always been a huge fan of LEGO Castle, but I greatly enjoy the Star Wars line as well. Currently I seem to be in a bit of a nostalgia phase, always looking on ebay for deals on MISB classics in the Pirate Line. From what I've seen you guys seem to be a fun bunch, and I'm sure I'll greatly enjoy being in the mix.
