  1. 8630: Sweet, sleek jet fighter. But what's this?!! New minifig weapons!!! Tactical rifle in gold and some sort of big machine gun. And dual wielding! Nice. Definitely a plus! For sure I am at least getting the minifigs and accessories of this line! Cheaper than Brickarms and the like I bet. 8631: I love the minifigs in the set! The villain is a must! That face is one only a mother could love and what's amazing, mechanical chainsaw arm!!?!? 8632: That villain has an odd helmet. Was LEGO playing Warhammer 40k at the moment? Cause the lower jaw of that helmet looks exactly like something an Orc would wear! I must get that piece! 8633: New Sharks! Yes! These look much much better! More animated and cartoony yes, but it's an improvement. Perhaps the "Triple G" will get a whacking upgrade? ;-) X-D 8634: Spider Man?!?
  2. Well, first about the whole "Brit" thing. Did you happen to get that from me? Just curious. When you first described Jameson he wasn't a "Brit" I guess I chose Reginald at the time because I thought the base would hold out with the upgrade...but apparently not. |-/ But anyways, now that I think about Reginald. The man is ridiculuous! How can you have that fancy space army and tea nonetheless in an APOC world!!!? He's a fake! He'll get eaten! Afterall, the Brits couldn't even survive the New World and couldn't fight like hardy Americans! X-D
  3. First I must say that is story is really heating up and I am very exciting to see how everything turns out! This is an amazing and very well executed idea, Batbrick! For teammates. I voted for Neron. Despite his shady character I believe he is just merely trying to survive at all measures. This means, no emotions, less mouths to feed, and the abilities of a trained warrior. Only the strong survive, and Neron will prove that. By getting rid of the weak now, supply distrubution will be greater for the two of you. It will be much easier to find enough for two mouths instead of everyone. Yes, that is harsh, and I'm sorry Exobuilder, but to initially surive this must done. After acquiring excess resources and finding a good position to set up a new base, then more people can be invited to the party. Neron also plays out into my decision of exploring the Deadzone. Reginald would be nice to have cause of tech, but what can he do if there aren't any resources? At least Neron can fight for you which is a must now that you will have to leave the base. The savage could be helpful but again, how good are his fighting skills. Keep in mind you will still have to fight the swarm some way or another. You can't hide from them forever. Finally, Xenu is just the worst choice. You've seen what happened to your base, who's to say that it won't happen to his or has happened all ready? Where to Go. The Deadzone. The great reward at the end will be far worth it. The ability to slaughter the swarm, set up a base, hunt for more survivors, and collect supplies is crucial. The best person to embark with you would be Neron. You will need a warrior to fight your way through and help you survive. Runts. Before getting rid of your teammates make one of them eat the darn thing. If they're eatable, they could save your life. Weaver Eat it. There's no use for a domestic animal because you still have the vehicle in your base. You can ride and carry supplies on that. Who knows when you will find food again. If the thing is eatable then eat it. Maybe you could dry it and make some sort of Jerky or Pemmican like the Indians did. That would really be useful. Perhaps the venom could be extracted as well and used as a weapon. (Which would prove very handy just in case Neron tries to backstab you.)
  4. It would be really funny if their wonder was cut short by a grenade blasting or something and they got blown out the window. I like the camera view on this too, but it would have been sweet to switch the angle to their first person. That would give the oppurtunity to show off a view of your awesome town. ;-)
  5. I don't think you should. Titles are earned in some fashion. Here's a link to the thread that talks about how those who have a title got their title.
  6. It's a title that you don't make up for yourself. The admins give out the titles.
  7. I was just browsing through Brickshelf and stumbled upon this great find. If any of you are familiar with "Zoids" you will really love this. Zoids is an anime based show that was featured in different seasons and storylines in not only Japan but the USA on Cartoon Network. Although I have mentioned before that I hate anime, the mechs in this series are just too sweet not to like. All the mechs are based on an animal, whether extinct, alive, or mythical. You can read more about it through this wikipedia article here. Anyway, here are the pics. You can click on the links to go directly to the wikipedia article if you'd like to read more. These models are not minifig scale (that would just be too massive), but are some very very detailed microscale models. Again MOCs by kyoupon. Here is Liger Zero. And here is Shield Liger. Kyoupon's brickshelf gallery here. If you go "up" he also has many more japanese models. ENJOY! :-)
  8. That is why I said "request" I remember there was an old topic that stated that contests are not allowed to spring up anymore without a formal request to the admins first.
  9. Do you mind if I join in? Or even better, why not invite all of EB and request for a future tank contest?
  10. A grasshopper Mech. Hmm...this makes me think of Zoids. But I wouldn't build that kind of animal. Now I'd love to build a Beserk Fury or a Liger or something.
  11. This is a major overhaul and improvement, it definitely has that tank feel to it. Although, it's not quite the same feel as the Eradicator. ...The Eradicator still wins I'm afraid. What I mean is what I had mentioned eariler, the "beefyness" of the Eradicator just gives it a classic solid tank feel. I'll have to agree with Brickmaster one this one, your MOC seems somewhat of a pyscho skeleton. What I mean is that, it's hull integrity isn't real evident. This is because of the Batman tank chasis and slapping a buncha guns on instead of bulking up the armor. To me, I feel like sending this tank into battle is like sending a Formula 1 Racing car in a Demolition Derby. Sure, it's gonna be fast and look cool, but it won't have the guts to take a hit from a solid stock car.
  12. The Eradicator will slay all. Your guys are just gonna get run over! Cool little figures though.
  13. ...The Eradicator wins. You're MOC is cool but I don't like the color scheme and the cockpit design. Tanks generally have a more armored and central integrated cockpit, I feel that yours is too exposed, especially all that glass. I feel like Exobuilder's model has a bit more integrity to it, it looks beefier, and is simpler. Yours has the general shape of a fish. Plus, the treads on the Eradicator really make it feel like a solid tank, while your MOC lacks that feel. Just my two cents.
  14. I'd say it was worth freezing your butt off! X-D Doesn't that guy know from horror movies that you NEVER leave the group!
  15. Now that's a big WOOPS! X-D Nice job, this is really great that you update frequently. Keep it up!
  16. First, I'm gonna have to say very nice photography! Especially the shots of your minifigs! It makes me think it's the introduction to some story or something. Maybe we could see some more steampunk from you then. 8-| This is a really great job! The detailing is wonderful, all the valves and hoses, and there are some very creative uses of parts here! The Doc Oc arms and the Indy whips are genious! Since I've never seen those specific pieces used like that before, I'm gonna assume that you're the absolute genious here.
  17. *wub* *wub* :-$ :-$ Oh my gosh, Exobuilder...I feel absolutely honored and astonished to have been featured with this stunning MOC of yours. Really, this is a masterpiece! The SNOT work is fantastic! Everything from the hubcaps, and the detail tiles on the roof and then cockpit, detailed and very very nice. The weaponry is sweet and that grill is just so original! I've never seen something done like that. I love how this just isn't you're typical hyped up modern tank, but it almost has that feel of a Warhammer 40k Tank. That resemblance makes me even happier. The name fits well, this tank is...absolutely...fearsome. Geez, I just really like this tank! Thank you so much for featuring me! This is definitely something that I would go joy riding in! Great work, Exobuilder! *y* *y*
  18. Don't worry, I am and will. ;-) I unfortunately assumed that you were basing it off a model at hand and not on your own memory. It's a nice ship though, don't get me wrong about that. I'm just saying it ain't the real deal, and you know that, so it's no big deal. :-)
  19. I came because first I randomly found this place while looking for some LEGO pictures. I had no interest in LEGO forums but after lurking around for a bit, I immediately really liked this place. *sweet* Because of EB, I've started to build more MOCs, found some great inspiration, kept up with the LEGO news and set releases, and actually bought new LEGO! I really enjoy this place because really I don't have any peers that find LEGO as a hobby, or at least they don't admit it. I do have one though...but his building skills aren't that great. I feel a great sense of community here and it's nice to have some feedback on my MOCs.
  20. Wow, I'm glad to see this topic revived, and to see you come back to say a few words! Your Hummers are awesome but I am in love with the Osprey! *y* *y*
  21. I understand why you put "Pelican Wannabe" but I'd just like to point out a few things anyway. First, take a look at this skematic. There's a major design flaw with your model according to the side view. The troop transport should be directly connected to the cockpit, they are one piece. The back end is then a giant wing with a lot of space underneath to carry cargo. From you pictures it looks like the mid section could possibly be the troop transport part and the back is an integrated cargo bay but I'm not quite sure. However, the troop transport should also have the capacity to hold 12 troops. Maybe they could fit right now, but again, I'm not quite sure. Also, you are missing two big thrusters in the back. I know you simply put red round 1x1s on the wings, but there are supposed to be seperate thrusters underneath the wings. Your model also lacks a "spine" that connects the back half cargo bay to the troop transport. The wings also aren't "chunky" enough. It's great that this model truly is studless, that right there is impressive, but I feel in trying to achieve that, you didn't give your model enough shape, enough of an organic feel. It looks really blocky to me. You can see what I mean in this picture. Nonetheless though, I have to say that this a very nice MOC, and don't feel like I'm trying to attack you, I'm just analyzing your work since you did try to replicate an existing model. Plus, I have no right to attack because I haven't built one myself! :-P Nice job!
  22. Nice one! :-D This one sure was funny, and it didn't have to resort to any theme of violence!
  23. I've seen this MOC before! Yes, it's very very well done. Heck, it could almost pass as the actual miniature! Dreadnoughts are sooo awesome, however, it's CLEARLY not chaos. Just because you see some skulls doesn't mean it isn't space marines. Space marines have the same skull emblem on their chests. It's Space Marines because of the Chapter symbol on the armor -- Blood Angels.
  24. I think I've seen this post apoc type universe before with skeleton/undead factions...as well as a "Juggernaut" Ahem...my sig...
