  1. He really does ruin everything.
  2. I don't agree, on our sides, I was joking earlier, but it's true, those horses need to be down, and I actually like the mechanic of having them there for that. Those Party Bombs Purpearl has, would be really useful contributions if most enemies weren't immune. If you don't have the brawn, use the brain. If you're low level, and you know there's high levels out there, try to pick up a scroll, useful items, bombs! Contribution for lower levels is not in damage, probably, but there can be contribution. Edit: and hey, there's always the fodder option.
  3. Hey! Don't make Guts send you under the unstoppable Free Hit train next. If you don't run away, that is.
  4. Guts for one incredibly appreciates his horse slaying minions. Seriously though, because someone is going to make it seem like I take things seriously and hate everyone and I am evil and a big bad bully. You're all good. Except the QMs. Screw those guys.
  5. I'm not having a go at Purpearl. She didn't follow my plan. I don't like it. I wish the mechanics allowed for it to have gone differently. But they don't. That's the end of it. Screw you guys and you looking behind everything for me attacking people. You were whining about a battle where you didn't take a single scratch and won in a few moves. And if you were less lucky you would have been fine in every scenario anyway. Crybaby.
  6. I do not really agree, of course we are all humans, everyone's equal, even if they are bad (I'M JOKING GUYZ), and everyone should have equal input except for the party leader who has slightly more, but in any other sort of RPG, actions are decided on at the same time. Tabletop, Online Multiplayer, you get what I mean. That doesn't work here. It's impossible to really discuss actions because where otherwise exchanging several sentences takes seconds, here it can take a lot longer. If a player does not realize that their actions are going to have bad consequences for the team, that's a bad thing, but it's not hurting anything. It would be okay usually, but because there is an annoying trend for stupidly hard battles, that's a reaaaal issue that can have annoying consequences. I think one thing everyone agrees on is that we want to win the battle. Unless there is some secret plan among certain members to take the bridge down that I am not aware of, in that case, I don't give the QMs most of the credit they deserve. I was going to make sure everyone would get rezzed. I even said so in my Plan.
  7. I'm the party leader. I'm no leader anywhere else that you need to worry about. If that hurts your feelings, I refer to my post above. Don't make it seem like I attack you.
  8. I disagree. Stating some words, then having the rest figure it out is not very active. It doesn't matter. But I think it would have gone better HAD Purpearl read my post and changed her actions accordingly. That's all. Stop trying to make it seem like i'm attacking everyone. I'm attacking the QMs, the rest of you are off the hook, for now.
  9. There's no problem, but fact is that the QMs until very recently figured that 24 hours would be enough time for everything, clearly it isn't, because look what keeps happening.
  10. She didn't change her actions to make sense with the plan?
  11. Free hits were going to happen, because the enemies are stupdily strong, KO's were going to happen. I'd rather have a low level player knocked out than a lucky assassin that has a chance of knocking the strongest enemy out instantly, but you know.
  12. If her last post was before my plan, and my plan indicated differently than her post, for good reasons, my plan being posted more than 24 hours before the round, that according to your standards makes her inactive, right? If her best interest is losing, you would be making sense, Flipz.
  13. That's not up to you to comment on that. My plan was sweet. The proposed actions for the characters were not, there was time to change them. "Someone shout to the other group. We need some bloody reinforcements. I haven't seen anything among the orcs that makes them super strong for no reason, so I'm guessing they're having an easier time than us."
  14. That's why the party leader's suggestions should overrule inactive players.
  15. Olmstyr targetted Son B, not D. Because Purpearl refused to follow the plan, Son C got a free hit, as did both generals because they are hastened.
  16. I think there's actually more free hits because some people decided not to follow the plan.
  17. Guts should have done 32 x 3 = 96 + 4 + 30 x2 -5 = 255 damage. It's not the sons, but the generals that did the free hitting. "Damn it Purpearl. You were supposed to take the hit. Not retreat. Why the hell would you retreat?! Last time I'm giving up valuable weapons to weaklings... Because we don't need lucky assassins anyway, because everything's going soooo well. You're first. Better hope you're lucky. And you better hope there are any essences left for you."
  18. Do the generals provide bonuses only to red lizard soldiers or to everyone. Because the red lizards are maybe not the leaders over the sons of light?
  19. Then don't give the illusion of having different endings. Don't have us pick sides if it's not going to matter. In my opinion, it does not make sense to have the heroes work for the orcs the whole time, even going as far as to march to war with them, and then be stopped at the bridge by Nerwen and some king who was apparantly a dick to everyone and have them be okay with changing their goals from payback against the High Kingdoms to protecting the bridge that was badly made and hasn't done anyone any good nor will it probably, from two armies including the ones that five minutes ago were their allies.
  20. What will happen when I use a Neutralizer? I assume that both the Eastern Border and the Army will have their effects removed, but not the front. Or just the army since they are in a different place technically? Also, Olmstyr seems to be KO'd with 22 health left, how does that work? "I am going to kill this Prince and his Erastes. I am going to kill Nerwen and her sodding King. Then I am going to kill Tarvalk and his daughter. And I'm going to sodding kill everyone that stands in my way. But first I am going to kill these damned ponies." Battle order: If Olmstyr is alive, he attacks Son of Light B Nelvin attacks Son of Light C Jess attacks Prince? Purpearl uses Party Bomb Dreyrugr uses smelling salts Dreyrugr attacks General B Dyric attacks General A Thormanil vs. Son of Light A. Matthias vs. Cassandra's Horse/Prince if Horse is dead. Benji uses Phoenix Incense to revive everyone at the border to full health. Does he need to move to the border to be able to do that? If he needs to move to the Eastern border to do this, he does (he's hastened, it's fine) If Olmstyr was not alive, now he attacks Son of Light B Glup uses a fire bomb Guts uses Smelling Salts Guts attacks Son of Light D Alexis attacks Cassandra Haldor attacks Prince? Free hits: Red Lizard A Red Lizard B Cassandra (if we don't kill her horse) Raguel This means that some people WILL go down again, we'll make sure to get you up before the battle is done so you get experience, don't worry.
  21. We didn't get bad rolls, we can deal with bad rolls. The mechanics are bad. You can't expect 24 hours to be a sufficient time to collaborately come up with a good battle plan with people all around the world on an easter weekend. And then reinforcing those rules? That's just another way for trying to get one of the "possible" endings. I think it's very clear which ending the Qms want to see, given how much easier it is to achieve than the others. The horses weren't explained, the row thing was not clear at all. The npc we have does not do what we want for no reason, and when I give a good suggestion that ends the horses (or actually, should have ended the horses if the QMs did as it would seem.), they instead decide to go with the mistake of the controller of the npc. The logical thing to do would be to give some leeway and go with the party leader's strategically smart suggestion. It's frustrating, as the whole situation is. Is it even possible to get an ending other than the neutral ending unless there's some major screw-ups in the battle? No. Not really. But hey, those screw-ups happen, apparantly. It makes me tired of the quest, and that is a shame. It also makes very cynical about my own quest where I am coincidentally hosting all three QMs, where in my opinion I have been extremely lenient with certain things. Rant over. Go on then.
  22. Guts killed the horses by the way. Why are they on 1 health. Edit: Apparantly they were not health points but amount of hits? Where would I have been able to find this out? It's not anywhere. So it's healthpoints.. Right?
  23. I'm not very impressed with this Quest 90 final battle. The mechanics make little sense and make in my opinion an extremely poor ending for an otherwise excellent quest (CMP's Quest 89). I'll say more when the quests are over.
  24. Seriously? Well Okay whatever Thanks for the quest then. If you don't allow the time for strategy...
