  1. Calamity sees no reason to beat around the bush, seeing as Keliim already told the Falcons everything. "If you'll allow me? Simply said, a demon found it's way to your testing chambers -a portal mage is responsible, mind you- This demon could not find her way out, so creatures went haywire, which messed up your recruits. By the way, from what I've seen of them, no big loss there. Your Falcons were under the demon's spell and served her needs for a while. Eventually, we got the keys together and used the portal device to transport the demon away, freeing your falcons and allowing us to return as well. Any questions, my lord?"
  2. "Alright then, you've convinced me, Terry, let's get out of here."
  3. "I know, I just kind of want to see the look on the faces of the beetles when we defeat them."
  4. Calamity looks sceptically at the Commander. "Is there no way I can -magically- rig this to give us a while longer while we kill some stuff and grab some actual loot? "
  5. "But you're sure which alternative is a whole lot more... evil." Calamity chuckles as she pats Terry's shoulder. She wouldn't show it, but she was glad the party made it through the encounter with the unchained demon alive. "I imagine we just continue where we left off, right? I highly doubt what we killed has come back to life. Would be interesting."
  6. "I'm up for it, there has been a great lack of treasure. And now we don't have to be so careful. What's the chance two demons have made their lair here? A girl can dream." Calamity turns to Terry. "He's only probably dead. If he's not, next time we'll see him he'll be a whole lot more powerful, and crazier, I'm thinking..."
  7. Calamity tries to get the portal to work to get them back to the palace.
  8. I've read it, Calamity thinks one thing of it, and constructs as Keliim eventually travelling to what she calls the void, and making a deal with a demon for it, if you wanted superfluous out of character explanations mate. "I know what to do, leader, my leader." Calamity remarks, as she jams her two keys into place, all the while not taking her eyes of the queen.
  9. Calamity rolls her eyes at Keliim's stupidity. Why he wished to travel to the void was beyond her, but a later to be named service to a demon usually resulted in regret. "Is it safe to assume you will not interfere with out meeting with the Red King, lady? Rulers are seldom happy with surprises such as yourself."
  10. Guts looks at all the heroes preparing, and can't help but feel a tiny bit sorry for those about to be hit by the party.
  11. "I can't say I stopped to ask him, he was busy, from the last I saw." "Somehow I doubt Terry and me have the same training... Why don't you tell us what it is you want from us?"
  12. Guts quickly checks the body and the syringe.
  13. Calamity chose her words carefully, and wrestles with with the demon's words. Daughter of kindred, lower ethereal? These were concepts she was unfamiliar with. "I've had dealings with more than one of your kind, none of which are significant enough to mention, except maybe for one called Aghut'Yun, who still roams this world, as far as I know. I can't help but notice you did not answer my question."
  14. Calamity is content to observe, for a time. The creature is clearly powerful, and she spoke of people that worshipped her. She must be a demon, of sorts. The question now was, how to bind this one to her will? One thing is for sure, you'd have to be incredibly stupid to make a deal with a creature that had a name like Oath Binder. "I assume you picked up my name, lady, and you'll forgive me for not using yours. There's power, in names, and I would hate to fall under your spell and contract the same skin problems as the Falcon Brothers there. Why don't you tell us for what reason you've been toying with us?"
  15. Calamity picks up her staff and looks through the soldier's weapons.
  16. Guts raises his eyebrows at the news of the creature's death. "Really? Disappointing, Captain." "Indeed." Guts draws Mythril's Edge and stands ready to charge the supposed last vampire. "The last pale skinned jokers all had help, where's yours?"
  17. Calamity scowls as she hands over her staff. "Why do I have the feeling we just became bait, more so."
  18. "How about a show of good faith on your part. then? You're clearly just trying to escape, and look at me, do I seem like the person that would deny a being like you your freedom?"
  19. "I do recognize it, charged, it was used to summon and control the largest sea-creature ever seen, for a short while. That thing caused a lot of destruction like it was nothing. Is Melville figuring out how to do the same? And how did he manage to get his hands on this? And what do you know of it?"
  20. I like Eric's new picture
  21. "Oh, come on now. Your minions are clearly better armed than we are, and there's a giant spider around as well. I'm sure our weapons are none of your concern, I mean, if it's a talk you want..?"
  22. "Yeah... So that staff is clearly bad news. We should figure out a safe way to carry it." Guts inspects the clamps, to see if they would be used to attach other objects to the staff.
  23. "Hey Aristune, you recognize any of these possessed fellas?"
  24. Calamity searches the room for anything they might have missed, and scoops up the obsidian shards so they aren't left behind.
  25. Clubs, Hammers, Maces, Staves, possibly brooms.
