    Wasn't the lucky die banned at some point? Even though that technically isn't as amazing as it seemed on release? Oh, I see how it is going to be. The Baltarok/Kingdoms party is going to have to struggle every part of the way to get their two artifacts, while the days of the Dastan/Xu party are filled with games, royal welcomes and shopping.

Also, did the assailants take anything or do anything else other than knock you out? Also, how did it feel?" Calamity is very interest in a beam that knocks people out, now that, could come in handy.

    Calamity holds her finger out to poke Emilia, but manages to stop herself. "You're very impressive, you know that?" She then realizes what they came here for. She sniffs her nose at Keliim, and points out a drop of mead on his chin and then fixates herself on Gontzo, who is impressive in an entirely different way. Ignoring the town watch she says: "If you answer our questions, we'll be gone before you know it, wouldn't that be great, us, not here?"

    Calamity has a hard time following their employer's logic. In her mind, the Crimson Crown is afraid of a future where automatons rule the world. She could see how that could get old after a while. "If Razkor is such an excellent interrogator, why do you need us?"

    "So... How is it, that technology is advancing super fast, have you seen one of the Ji Pei airships? They're quite impressive. And mages are still around, too." Calamity smiles sweetly as she lets a spark of dark energy jump between her fingers.

    Don't worry, he'll just take over one of the factions. Saves the costs for making banners. It's not, but any loot that is considered 'ridiculousy powerful', 'please fix' or 'nerf rogues' is tax-exempt.

    Sorry for the wait we were strategizing. "We follow the plan, with the exception that the dog should target someone else, not the captain, as he won't bleed." Guts says as he throws his Electro Bomb.

    Yup. I've been lurking on and off since 07 at least as well. I remember first coming here with the UCS millenium falcon raffle and that set came out in 2007. Of course, Heroica inspired me to make an actual account.

    I don't think Guts should have taken any damage. Guts swears all the obscenities he can think of as he is thrown overboard. He shouts up: "Matthias, get those animals of yours to help us up." Can they?

    Thanks for having me, I had a visit to the marketplace. One moment they are waiting for her, and the next Calamity seemed to have popped up behind the other heroes. "Heya. I'm Calamity. Crimson crown, huh, I wonder if they are as evil as everyone seems to say they are..." The mage mused. "Festina Lente... What do you reckon it means?" She asks her questmates.

    Calamity sells her Treasure items for 35 gold, and has 156 gold in total. With that she buys a bedroll, 3 remedies, 2 potions and 2 tonics. for 75 gold and is left with 81 gold.

    "I'll just warn you that I'd be slightly annoyed if you'd cleave the head of my project in two, Keliim." Calamity leads Keliim back to her table and handles some potions, sprinkles some chemicals around her symbols on the table. When she judges it ready, she hands the barbarian a scroll, it seems like a ripped page from a book, and points out a fragment for him to read out. The mage herself closes her eyes, and some power manifests, she is ready for the summoning. Keliim starts reading the words as instructed, and when he says the final phrase, the hall is filled with a brilliant flash of light. When the heroes can see again, the table Calamity chose for her summoning is on fire, and a strange, skeletal creature stands upon it. "Right... That's... Something... It's... not really what I wanted..." She says, more for her own benefit than Keliim's. "I tried to summon an Imp, they're usually magically weak, and talkative, relatively. This.. I have no idea." The creature seems disorientated, it stands on the table and doesn't move for a while. When it seems to understand that is alive, it starts trashing around, but it can't seem to move a whole lot. Calamity tries to get it's attention, but the only result is it doubling it's efforts to try and get to her. "I don't think we can talk to it. It's feral. I wonder what it is though..." She says a few magic words, and the creature vanishes in a puff of smoke, leaving only a blackened, smouldering table behind. She looks at Keliim. "Well, that was fun, thanks for the help!" Just then she notices she is chosen for the quest, and hurries out the hall to make some preparations.

    "Right. Of course. It'd be just ridiculous to have one voyage where there's no pirates. And why in the bloody hell are these animals helping us fight? Not that I'm complaining..." Captain Lane attacks the Captain from the back row, Guts uncorks the Cloud of Celerity and attacks the Nordic Crew with his Rapier from the back row, and the Second mate with Mythril Edge from the back row.
