  1. Guts attacks Wight Cluster C and then Moon Elf Corpse Legion A.
  2. "If I couldn't do it, I wouldn't be going through all this trouble. Right over at that table, I've made my preparations. It's completely safe, I promise" Calamity points at her table, which has been converted to a place of summoning. The mage skillfully dodges one of Scheherazade's dark looks.
  3. What happened to Guts attack on Veken?
  4. Calamity grins wickedly and starts rattling off what she wants done. "Alright, so I'm going to summon a tiny little demon, but as you know, demons are typically confused or angry and hungry when first summoned, so a proper summoning includes magical wards and stuff to make sure the summoner doesn't die. Anyone can summon a powerful demon with the right ritual, controlling and living to tell about it are the hard parts. In any case, I feel that I've gotten stronger after our adventure in the falcon's playground, but I'm hesitant of trying to do the controlling, warding and summoning all by myself. If you could read the words, I make sure we stay safe."
  5. Calamity looks up from her table, where she has been amassing all the necessary ingredients to summon a minor demon, a star surrounded by a circle made out of twigs gathered under a moonless night, salt, sulphur, the carcass of a small animal, blood from a variety of sources and about a dozen other questionable items. Humming a tune, she walks over to the questing board, where there's some activity. "New quest, huh, lovely." She signs up for quest 140. "Now if only I could find some volunteers for my ritual summoning..." The mage makes her way over to where Keliim is chatting with a couple of others. "Hey Keliim, interested in helping out with something real quick? Your friends could help, too."
  6. Guts shouts in triumph as Melville falls down. "Clean-up time." Guts revives Em and kills attacks Veken, then uses a grand potion on Volmuniix and attacks Undead Crimson Sicarii Squad A. CMP, how would a light/darkness weapon work against an undead monster that absorbs darkness (but is obviously weak to light)?
  7. CMP, I calculate an entirely different number for Guts' jump hits, I'm probably just missing something. (64x5+39+2=361x2(encouraged)x2(darkness)-150 sp =1294x2(dual strike)=2588) Guts stands outraged as Melville summons Kjorfalneire as his last resort. And keeps on the attack on the rear admiral from the dragon's back. "You barnacle-eating son of a harpy, that is my giant seamonster, godsdamnnit. I'll make you wish you stayed away from even the shallowest puddle, you mad clown."
  8. Starting tomorrow Ill be in the Czech republic for a week with limited internet, JimB can decide Guts' actions with full control over his inventory.
  9. Guts lip twitches as the ship is crippled. What a waste. Oh well. "Captain, I suggest you swap out your weapons for the fancy looking ones." Guts points out the Balanced Rapier and the Main-Gauche.
  10. I've been hosted by 11 different QMs! I know. See my title...
  11. And then, Guts' dagger, shoes and entire supply of potions fell into the ocean. A stat-changing mushroom also somehow managed to find his way into the Alchemist's mouth. Power - 25, Health - 25, Ether +1. And then a Monster's money stealing Special managed to steal all of his gold, which then vanished from the QM's notes. But at least he rolled a critical hit.
  12. In all seriousness though, I'm super interested in the amount of mayhem that double special damages are going to cause.
  13. Yes, Guts is going Marauder as well.
  14. "... Rude..." Calamity turns to face Vindsval. "I don't think we've met, I'm Calamity."
  15. "Now that sounds exciting." Calamity interjects. "Who do you reckon summoned this creature to this world?"
  16. I enjoyed myself a lot, and I thought the sets were very beautiful and the story interesting. You kept up at great pace which really helped as well. I thought the battles were perhaps slightly too hard for our level of equipment. The battle we fled from was almost impossible. Getting Aristune helped, I thought that was done really well. I think the loot was fine, as well, you didn't drop anything too outrageous. I must say that some of the items you dropped at the end there were completely useless though. At some points I was very unsure what you expected us to do, especially in the lava room after we got the key. One thing I found a bit random, you handed out a level for essentially spending a grand tonic. Unless there were opportunities like that for all characters that we missed, I think that's a bit iffy, and could have gone differently. The descriptive roleplaying that deserved that level came from you! I find it too bad we did not get to explore the rest of the rooms of the Parlor, the ending, that we had to go back felt a bit rushed, although I can understand that as we weren't always that active as a party. I'd love to come back for another quest involving the Queen and Aristune and the Red Court, it's a very, very interesting place.
  17. Great puzzle. Guts puts some scribbles on the map, then hands it back. "Now, this is sailing."
  18. Because all those characters are just Guts with different wigs on. Acting.
  19. Calamity enters the hall, after returning to Eubric through the portal. "Right. Let's see what we've got. Ooh, I like that one, and that one." Calamity decides to sign up for Quest 137.
  20. "Thank you, I'll take the portal back, please." Calamity shoots a last grin at the Caliph, before stepping through. Thanks a ton for hosting, Asphalt!
  21. "You're all immune to water damage, just go, the water isn't getting any warmer." Guts quipped, happy with staying on board.
  22. Calamity ponders, and eventually chooses the Scroll of Blindness. "I can imagine having a lot of fun with this..."
  23. I think diamond and amethyst together is really strong. It gives you double damage against humanoid and undead if I remember this right, with normal damage to everything else. Pair that combo with fire, ice, lightning or a combination of those three and you've got a versatile strong weapon.
  24. "If demons like that could enter our world at will, there'd be a lot more demon invasions happening and archdemons running around. The world would be that much more interesting." Calamity weighs the gold, then grins and stashes it. "Thank you, my lord."
  25. Guts wipes away a single raindrop as the plan is explained. "Alright. Good luck, don't linger."
