Alright, Ill make Rufindel heal nyx.
-
Yes, But I have no idea what Rufus would do, there are a couple of people that could use some healing, so...
-
Can I get an action from Rufus, please, so I can move my quest along? , If it's a problem, can maybe Pandora do his actions if needs be?

Guts moves onward to the tunnel they had not explored yet! -
I'm confused now
-
We were talking about the mechanics of the Battle Mage, something else entirely .
-
Oh, I did not see the your weapon is Light elemental. In that case, you would be right :)
-
I don't think thats right... You are assuming you are level 15, your WP is 8, and the gem is extra effective, correct? WP = 8 x 2 = 16. + level 15 =31 + same elemental damage= 31, double that for being extra effective, and you get 31 + 62 = 93 damage. Still a lot ;)

Makes me wonder, does Thotwick have any ties to Eubric's Metasimian gang? Or does Byblos?
-
The Metasimian Swordsman is my new favorite character in the Heroica RPG

I think CMP meant these posts. Note to LEGOman273, you can not post in the library while on a quest, since the library is part of the hall, and you certainly can not make magical letters :/ . @xxlrocka If you have read the first post of the treasury, you can see the topic is to make it easy to see what every item does/means, it is an index, of sorts.

I already have some thoughts on two of the advanced classes, QM'ing them really makes it good to see how they work. Battle-Mage: It is an interesting class, It works quite well, the Spellblade shield effect is nicely done, and I definitely like how the magic counter works, but the only gripe I have with it is that the player will probably always stay in the back row, casting spells like a normal mage. (This actually is not that smart, as the Shield effect is 1/4 stronger when in the front row). And the Battle-Mage will always never use its weapon, unless it is out of ether, but that is not a big deal, I feel. Keep it as is!. Paladin: I like it, it is basically the best class for all-round. It can take hits, so its ok to be first to take free-hits, it can heal allies and self, and it can deal decent damage as well. And that is my tiny problem with it. I fear BECAUSE it can do all these things, it will be chosen a lot. There is no problem with that, because it is actually nicely balanced, I feel. It's offensive damage is not super, which is good , otherwise, it would not be balanced. Having seen only these two advanced classes, I think these are very balanced and fun to play around with. I hope the others are as balanced as this, it is a bit tricky to figure that out without actually rolling the dices in battles, and of course there is always the luck part... But yeah, keep up the good work Sandy!

Battle order please? -
What is the deal with everyone wanting pet-sidekicks all of a sudden. If you are going to do it, do it carefully. And also since they don't serve any useful purpose in Heroica, their only use is comedic value, using them as character development is a bit lazy, to be honest. So please, think carefully if you want a comedic sidekick. Look at Atramor and his chicken, Althior and Finnegan or Boomingham and Barty for how it is done right .

Im assuming Cronk bashes swordsman from the front row ;) Results of Round 7 of the Metasimian-Gang Battle Rufindel heals Atramor - Heal Less Cronk vs. Metasimian(Sword) - Damage Atramor vs. Metasimian(Sword) - Damage Nyx vs. Metasimian(Crossbow) - Magic Counter Rufindel heals his roguish companion for 11 points, at the cost of 1 ether. Cronk and Atramor once again try to break through the swordsman's defenses, but they fail. The swordsman's blade is larger than Cronk and Atramor's weapons, and he is as strong as Cronk, and as fast as Atramor. Two quick strikes against the heroes bring them back a notch. The blade of his sword hits Cronk's helmet, causing him to take 7 damage, and the Metasimian hits Atramor on his head with his weapon's pommel, dealing 14 damage. Another crossbow bolt finds his way to Nyx, causing her to take 7 damage, but Nyx automatically responds with a magic darkness bolt, dealing 14 damage back to the crossbowman, at the cost of 1 ether. The battle has certainly taken a turn for the worse, and the voice in the sky loves it. Enemies: Metasimian(Sword) "You need more practice, drop by Scim's Dojo, when this is over, HAH" Type: Humanoid Level: 16 Health: 85/150 Special 1: Eat Banana: Eats a banana, restoring 50 health Special 2: Vicious Slash: Strikes the target with 15 damage, and makes it lose 3 more each turn, because of bleeding, for the rest of the battle. Used if at full health, can't be remedied, but is removed if target is healed to full health. Drops: Nutritious Banana, Longsword. Metasimian(Crossbow)"Reloading!" Type: Humanoid Level: 13 Health: 20/105 Special 1: Hide: Hides in the back row for this turn and the next 2, halving incoming damage. Special 2: Heavy Shot: Fires a heavy shot at the target, dealing 10 damage and knocking the target to the back row for the next turn, if the target is already in the back row, stuns the target instead. Used if in the back row. Drops: Heavy Crossbow, 20 gold Party: Cronk (played by Corneliusmurdock) Level 16.5 Paladin Power: 28 SP: 9 Health: 22/36 Ether: 11/17 Gold: 10 Inventory: Zoot's Bane (WP:12, Light), Healing Staff (WP:5 Healing effect), Sword of Bashing (WP:5), Bloody Pointy Stick (WP:1), Ennoc's Blessing (Shield, SP:7), Elaborate Helmet (SP:2), Potion x2, Holy Bomb, Phoenix Essence, Bedroll, Mead Nyx (played by Pandora) Party Leader Level 15.5 Battle Mage Power: 24 SP: - Health: 10/24 Ether: 8/20 Gold: 32 Inventory: Dawnstar II (WP:9), Sandman's Parasol (grants immunity to sleep), Ruby(Fire), Amethyst(Darkness), Topaz(Lightning), Sapphire(Wind), Emerald(Wood), Potion x2, Remedy, Tonic x4, Holy Bomb, Bedroll, Bone x5 Atramor Gibbin (played by CallMePieOrDie) Level 15 Rogue Power: 23 SP: 2 Health: 5/22 Ether: - Gold: 222 Inventory: Leachfeather (WP:7 Fire, Wind, restores 2 health on hit), Shiv(WP: 4, can be used as both a melee and a throwing weapon.)Cloak of the Elven Spy(Allows wearer to see an NPC's stats from afar), Sand Worm Hide(SP:2), Bone Rufindel Galadhras (played by Rufus) Level 11.5 Cleric Power: 23 SP: 2 Health: 19/19 Ether: 7/15 Gold: 30 Inventory: Malfunctioning Staff(WP:12 on successful roll, has 50% chance to do half of WP damage to self instead(ignoring row and SP), Warlord's Helmet( SP:2 grants 'Natural Respite', Fauxthril Staff(WP:7),Potion x2, Remedy x2, Bone x2, Pickaxe, Tonic x3, Bedroll, Scroll of Sealing Party Leader, choose the order of action.
