  1. This is all ducked up as hell. It would explain the weird picture, but at the same time Admiral told us not to look for clues in pictures... If you turn out Town and the picture actually meant something, it won't be good. This Neutral Cop business.... I really just want to go and strangle some kittens.
  2. He said it in thread at this point. He claims he is a redirector that directed all night actions to Walters. I don't buy it. It's damn convenient claim and I rather not spend a long time explaining why it's megablocks, but I'm sure people can do that themselves at this point.
  3. but there was no scum kill on night 2, that's the entire point STOP CONFUSING US, SCUMBOY.
  4. You'll be glad to hear the real cop found a townie today, so we don't have to worry about your imagined neutral-cop friends.
  5. Yadie Yadie Yadi Vote: Zachary Jones (Flipz)
  6. Alright... Mr. Zachary Jones (Flipz) has decided to play dumb. He is the person my blocker blocked, and it looks pretty damn bleak for him. He has decided NOT to talk to me, and his only reaction to the PM I send earlier, which said: I suggest you start talking, is this: So. Not only is he blatantly bullshitting the rest of us by not responding to my plea, I gave him the oppertunity to contact me, and there was indeed the chance he could have said certain things which might have made this thing right, He also has the nerve of acting like he does not know what the hell is going on. Say for yourself, if I would have contacted any one of you with: I suggest you start talking, and let's say you would not have been blocked, would you be confused as of what is going on, or would you say something along the lines of: Dude, you have the wrong person, or: You are scumming this all up. This my friends, is faked persona to the max, he is blatantly dragging this whole thing out, trying to prolong this whole case, and confusing as many of us in the process, because he knows he is screwed, he can't do anything at this point to worm himself out of this, and he knows it. His last statement only contributes to that: He makes it look as if we can't proceede with the conversation, as though it's my fault we are waiting, while it's actually his own. But we have more important things to worry about, I said in the past that I had a very odd story that speaks against this person, and combined with the fact that he got blocked by the blocker who I believe is town, would be enough for a conviction, so here it is, I will keep this short and simple, it does not deserve more words. Zachary Jones told me a neutral cop claimed to him, who investigated me on night one as town. Uhhhhhhhh Yes. That's it. Basically.
  7. Stop making trouble about it, it's like the healing staff, only it's a wand. Done.
  8. Taking Benji's silence as confirmation, Guts signs himself, Benji Carvenhall and Hybros up for Quest 39, with himself as party leader.
  9. Can't wait for The Lion King, Cinderella and Jungle Book with blue cat people.
  10. This is pretty cool news, what especially gets me excited is that an actual experienced (in MMO's), and fairly okay developer is working on this. Funcom is known for Age of Conan (which was not so great, to be honest), Anarchy Online (a very old game, but which was very popular and is still running) and the upcoming MMO The Secret World (which looks interesting). Keep in mind that there are other kinds of MMO's than MMORPG's, like LU was, so this might be something completely different. Here is some things what I think should be in the game, to allow it to be succesful: -Free Building (in the world maybe): It's LEGO, building is the most important thing, I think no Lego games have captured that, really. They could go as far as do something like Minecraft, but with Lego, it would be popular as hell. It could work like Minecraft, where you gather bricks, or you could buy bricks in a store with in game currency (studs?) I think TLG was perhaps biting their tongue a little bit when Minecraft became so succesful, A similair game but with Lego would have blown Minecraft out of the water. -No subscription Fee. Lego's prime demographic, and the players of Lego games are kids. Most kids are not able to pay a subscription fee of around 12 euro's each month. Hell, even I am not willing to do that. In order to be succesful, they should have it be a one-time purchase, or perhaps even free-to-play. There are loads of free to play games that are succesful. -Micro Transactions. People don't like them, but if they want to move away from the subscription fee, which I sincerely hope, they will have no choice if they want to keep it running. I think what people suggested earlier in this thread, about codes in the CMF packets is a great idea, and I hope it just gives the player all items to be used for looks in game. With not everyone having a use/desire to own CMF's, I would say there could be a shop that allows you to buy different (visual)items for real money. If building is going to be big, which I somehow doubt, there could also be brick packs and stuff like that. I was not very enthoused by LU, played a little bit of the Beta, then stopped. I am pretty positive about this however, mostly because it looks like just a license was sold, and TLG itself might not have to do very much with it themselves(as was different with LU?) and that it was sold to a respectable developer that knows what it's doing.
  11. It's been 12 hours and the blocked person has not come forward to me. I am sending the guy a PM, because there is one very specific way this guy could not be scum. And don't wait for me, just go ahead with whatever else. I somehow doubt there are only two scum.
  12. I can tell that if Guts ever met Boomingham, they would be good friends.
  13. sok117 - 1 point KielDaMan - 1 point Matn - 1 point
  14. GeorgeG - 1 point Darkdragon - 1 point BaraSH - 1 point
  15. Darth Yogi - 1 point Alopex - 1 point Sok117 - 1 point As always with this sort of thing, I wish I had more points!
  16. Guts looks down as a small figure pulled his coat, and saw the dark coloured creature that was with them in the quarry. "Yes! Hybros isn't it? Me and Mister Benji Carvenhall here want to go as well, with the three of us, that would make the party. I think our individual skillsets would make an excellent combination. Benji, if you agree too, I can sign us up?"
  17. I could say the same thing about you with reasoning that does not fails. Why are you so defensive of this blocked person, is it because it is your scum buddy? Could be. I think it proves a hell of a lot, to be honest, since you seemingly don't see it, I will explain. As well as why the blocked person should contact me. I will talk slowly. Maybe it helps... And there is no overreacting and insulting, that's you reading that in there. And your reasoning fails there again, if you are not suspecting me or have reason to believe I am scum, I am town, yes? (or third party, but let's not go there) I think I have been a pretty "front of the line" kind of person here, you should have an opinion on me, one way or the other. Otherwise it seems like you have that disease, you know: Scumfakingundecisivetowniritis. Also you responding only to certain points of my statement has been noted. Alright, what you are suggesting is this: I could be scum, and "the blocker" could be scum. OR I could be town, and "the blocker" could be scum, correct? I will start by why this point are moot. Now, I have nothing to prove I am town other than my actions in thread and private conversations with people. I can be happy to say I have found the general consensus was that I seem to be pretty cool, which is always good to hear. This thing with the blocker could be a good stepping stone for me to prove I am town, now that I think about it, but I don't really see the need to effectively label myself as town, there is simply no reason or than getting a solid town block together. Which I might add, I am not a part off and haven't seen other evidence that it exists, but would be a good thing to have. Now, don't you think it's incredibly weird for a scum to throw himself in the open claiming a block has occured? Why would the scum do that? I am going to do some reasoning here for a moment, if you stop agreeing, or if you are losing me, please say so, I will do what I can to make myself understandable, and while I know that my logic is not always perfect, I strive to be. So I am a scum, and my "blocker" friend is a scum too, or he does not exist? Now, let's dissect the first of these possibility: we are both scum, and have hatched a nefarious plan to trick the people into thinking we are a helpful townie and a town blocker. YES I JUST CALLED MYSELF A HELPFUL TOWNIE, PLEASE DON'T LYNCH ME. Ok, back to seriousness, so me and my scum buddy, who could be the scum blocker for all we know, are thinking this out, and say: You know what would be great? If we claim we blocked a person, that we will lynch on the basis that there will be no scum kill tonight, because we know that, because we can see in the future, and we will tell this to someone else who can confirm that I did this in the night, before we know that we won't kill, Harharhar! Simply said without the awesome jokes: I also told someone else in the night before there was any sort of action confirmation what the blocker had blocked. Now, you could say: what if all three of you are scum? Think about it, would I really be that stupid to cause THREE people to throw themselves in the open if needs be. This third person should not speak up by the way, there is no need, but if neccasary to work out the case, I'm sure he or she can do that later. The other option you saidis that there is no blocker... that's funny, because there would need to be another reason why there is no kill this morning, which is of course a good possibility, but there would also need to be another blocker out there, which I am sure would counter claim, plus, It would again be a lot of trouble and throwing myself under the bus, because I could not prove stuff. Now, you also said the blocker could be scum and I am being fooled, I believe your exact words were: no proof that the blocker is townie? It is a possibility, but this person would have gone to an aweful lot of trouble just to fool me, and only me, into believing he is a blocker, done an aweful good job at making it believable, give aweful believable behaviour in both private and public, and so on, and all out took a giant risk for no real reward. So yes, I AM convinced of the blocker's towniness. If I contact the guy/gal, there is no pressure, zero ultimatum, it's much easier for the person to say: Hey Yo Man, I was not blocked you are lying I am innocent. If you think about it, you will realise it's an extra bit of confirmation, be it on the part of the blocked or blocker/me. If they deny, all we have is denial, if the person flat out does not contact me, we have nothing, which can be everything, if you know what I mean. Just think about it for a minute or two, it makes more sense. I'm not saying it's a big difference with me contacting the person, but I think it is slightly more rewarding and confirming. I hope I adressed everything said.
  18. "Likewise, let's try and see if we can find a third person willing to form a group with us for this task, shall we?"
  19. Oh, please. Yes that's the first, and still the best thing that I can say about this. The only reason people are suspecting me, was because of my inactiveness yesterday, which I get, but that's not because I was trying to fly under the radar. If that's what you think, that's not very smart thinking (e.g. read the confirmation thread). I am now catched up on what happened yesterday, and I have zero reason to bother responding to the people bringing up my inactiveness, because it's pointless. I think it shows that I have been trying to do a lot for the town, on day one that is, and I am going to continue with that now. IF you think I am more suspicious than others, that's your own dumb thinking, call me rude, but it's true. Of course I have taking into account that others may contact me, saying "I got blocked, bro". I am not going to ask them to roleclaim, that's stupid, not helpful for the town. It's words YOU now lay into my mouth. If a person like that would contact me, all I'd say is this: You are not the blocked I am looking for. You could argue I then would know a power role, but is that really such a terrible thing? How I see it is that I am in contact with the blocker, I am handling this thing as open as humanly possible, so what exactly would be the problem? Would the blocker not be dead tonight if I was scum? He or she has not claimed to anyone else, AFAIK. Basically all you have caused by this statement is that you have given the blocked person, who could very well be scum, a reason not to contact me, thus obstructing the solving of this thing. Good job. Me contacting the blocked does not give any benefits. We are sticking to my plan, the blocked person contacts me. If he or she has nothing to hide, they do it. Otherwise, we do this in public. That reminds me, there was someone that wanted me to defend myself for being aggresive, making snarky comments, and his eyes put up a fake persona. To you I say: Do you have anything you actually want me to defend myself against? Really? Just asking? No? okay.
  20. Hmmm I know who the blocker blocked, paired with quite an odd story against this person, I'd say it's enough for a conviction. I won't say who it is though, as I would like what the blocker tells me what feedback he got from our Admiral. Alright, I just got messaged. Apparantly, the blocker succesfully stopped someone from using their action, which is a good thing, yesterday, the message was different though, what was said was that the blocked person yesterday, did not venture out. I want to be very careful though, we don't suddenly want to rush out and lynch the blocked person only to find out he or she was a power role. Also, if we don't lynch the killer, can we keep blocking him or her, essentially locking the scum kills down? I am giving the blocked person a bit over 12 hours to come up with a good explanation to me in private, he or she knows that it's them. For future reference, the above two messages were eleven minutes apart, if you were wondering.
  21. Guts smiles as he shakes Benji's hand, and says: "Very good, as you know I am Guts Holla indeed, but I am afraid I am at a disadvantage, Ser...?"
  22. Hmmm, Yeah, maybe. I hope so. Thanks.
  23. Guts frowns when he reads the new message for Quest 39, and walks over to where Althior, Alexis, Sorrow and Johon are standing, and says: "Kids, I want to go on that Quest. I have the experience, tools and drive. From what I've seen on the board, we will have to go inside the man's mind, and fight off whatever has made it's way inside. There is a good chance that if we are not strong enough inside his mind, or if the ritual goes horribly wrong, we will be braindead. And the ritual is probably going to be done either by magic or by people from the Temples, I kinda hope the second, heh." Guts pauses and looks at everyone's faces: "It does not sound very appealing, but I want to do this. The life of the richest man in Eubric is in our hands. Imagine what difference Heroica could make in Eubric with that kind of support! It would at least be a start, and could help Heroica grow, help equipping and ultimately help changing the mindsets of people all around!" After a short pause, Guts adds: "Heroica can't afford to screw this one up. No offense to any of you, but I trust myself the most, and think I should be in there. I lead a party in a Quest earlier, and would be willing to do so again, are any of you up to join me, kick some megablocks in the guy's mind, and better the city?"
  24. Well, I think it's a bad idea, as now I have zero chances to get in it, great.
  25. Love the forms, nice find (or did you think them up yourself? if so, double good!) Flipz, I think filling those out and sticking to it can really help people that are unhappy with their roleplaying. With characters with strong opinions, views and goals, conflict is bound to happen, and all good roleplaying can essentially be boiled down to conflict, I think. Just keep in mind that the awnsers can always change, it's called: Character Development. Flipz did a good job explaining the term in the first post of this topic. Also love the English Accent in text, Scorpiox, I was hoping there would be a character like that, kinda like Flitwick's character in Imhotep Mafia. So Legoman, if you decide you want to try and incorporate that into your roleplaying, I think it can be added value, I just think it might be a little hard to be consistent and find the right terms all the time. Just for fun, here's Guts filled in form. What the character loves: Wine, the sound of metal against metal, being in control, be it in or out of combat. What the character hates: Greed, Stupidity, people that don't follow (his)orders, pure selfishness, Ale, Meatballs, Magic, Magic users, Undead, Demons, Preyers of the innocent, Pirates, Poisoners, Religious Zealots, Elves that act like they are better than humans, Slavers, Slavekeepers, Slavery in general, Drunks, Superiors. what the character fears: "Them", Dying before finishing his job, running out of booze, people under his command dying. What the character believes: That he can make a difference What the character values: Honour, Strength, Cleverness What the character wants: Closure, a worthy death, to make a difference. What the character knows about: Bladed Weapons, basic Blacksmithing skills, several languages, lot of knowledge of places all around the world, unknown knowledge from unknown sources about a number of things. People who made a difference in the character's life: His (dead) Wife, an unknown Slaver, an unknown Bandit Lord, Holla, (to lesser extent: heroes of Heroica) Discoveries that made a difference in the character's life: Wine Decisions that made a difference in the character's life: Too Revealing
