  1. Especially the "Don't hurt me" part I imagine.
  2. I don't think it's that powerful, also a bit less so considering in whose hands it's going to end up in (Ellaria's not getting it because it causes healers to turn party members to stone and Guts already got a large piece of loot). Perhaps restrict it to Ether users or something, if Guts got a hold of it, it would be a different story.
  3. I just remembered Guts rolled a Steal in the last round of the last battle, which gives him an extra turn (they do carry over). Guts attacks Spirit C as well. "I guess we know where the cuts and bruises on the dead Alchemists came from. Girl, remember that scroll."
  4. Also, that robe, not good on a healer. But would totally fit with Nur! I was under the impression that they don't stack. But yeah.
  5. Atramor getting Jinxed? Not as bad as you might think. Really you should make it your playstyle, get some SP, a scroll of jinxing or something and have a high chance of doing special mirrors, which often turn out very well.
  6. "So it's one of those. Great." Guts attacks Major Spirit A, then Major Spirit B, from the front row, with his Stag Antlers.
  7. How does Ethereal work? Does it make enemies immune to elemental weapons, or just not especially effect by them? Nevermind.
  8. Guts uses his telescope to look at the far off object. "Appreciate the Shard, Gibbin. I got enough for a full set now."
  9. Would be funny if everything saw the Dragonslayers as a bunch of jerks for killing a weak dragon (for no reason as well ). I thought to not have to make unbalanced battles. Perhaps just a slightly hairier version of himself.
  10. Ugh, I bet the party is going to be lame and side with the Wolfgang again.
  11. "The real security lies in the fact that most would not figure out the method of opening the chest, let alone spare the expense to get the materials required, not in the numerous possibilites."
  12. "Sure, John seems to have a bunch of potions, so if we could use them, that'd be great. You reckon we need to use three of them at once, or we can see if something happens if we do things one at a time?" The raider directed that last question at the Alchemists.
  13. They could already easily all get to level 30 with the points they have now.
  14. "I suspected something like that. How would you figure out what the right mixture is?"
  15. Guts should have four Deadly venoms, also the Elven Bomb didn't make it into his inventory. "Any of you alchemists know what's up with the chest? It doesn't seem to have locks, yet is closed. There appears to be markings to suggest a bomb or gas of some kind will be released if forced. Also, what can you tell me about this Bomb?" Guts holds out the Elven Bomb.
  16. "Not in particular. I meant I saw no reason to break everything open, but as you are already at it, and it's your call, I'll take what I might make use of, that's all." The raider nodded. "I'd take a straight-up fight with this spellflinging idiot over sitting here waiting for something to happen any day." Guts takes a Nostrum, Smelling Salts and Mead.
  17. Guts let out a short chuckle, when the pirate purposefully didn't hand him anything. "You know what I meant, Gibbin." The raider leaned back. There wasn't really anything to do until they had ransacked the whole place, which for some reason they deemed neccesary. He had never been one for the waiting game. "This 'safehouse' doesn't scream safe to me. We got in without keys, the walls are not especially thick, nor are the doors and windows reinforced. There are some supplies to hold out, but that seems to be about it."
  18. Guts shook his head. "You'd be wise not to involve your Gods in your mockery, she's far more dangerous to cross than I am." To Atramor he mumbled: "I doubt it, the trade thing. I have no desire for more things. Let me know if you find any more rats."
  19. "Turn?" The raider smirked, the pirate (that much was clear from his way of speaking and his appearance) was odd, and Guts did not like his views, but the raider didn't care, they had a job to do. He crossed his arms. "Often the means don't justify the end. I killed this person not to solve a problem, but because he had it coming. Anyway, I'd rather have the items in my hands than in these kid's. But I won't argue it."
  20. I really like the Quest so far, the house gives off a tense feeling, with there being weird statues and magically locked chests. It's good!
  21. The raider's lips turned into a thin smile, his eyes didn't follow. "I am that kind of "hero". Don't take it the wrong way, I killed the last man holding that weapon." Guts raised his voice a little, and said: "Alchemists, mind handing me what you brewed up? I imagine we can use it better than you can."
  22. Look, I'm trying to help you set up your story here. I blame horses.
  23. The raider squatted down halfway down the stairs, and catched the items, Atramor threw at him. Guts spinned one of the Health cores around, never had one of those before, then put them both in a pouch, and slid the venom on an empty spot on his belt, already filled with a lot of vials. He looked at Atramor, and said: "Perhaps you should let the young alchemists stay back during any more fighting, we can't have them getting seriously hurt. Perhaps you can also ask them to give us the things they brewed up during it, we are to protect them, after all. It'd also be courtious to heal them, where neccesary, you seem to have that skill, or you, girl." The raider's eyes fell on Atramor's weapons, which had moved into sight during the short fight, and rested on one weapon in particular. "Interesting cutlass."
  24. It was, it was. And that scares me. If something is too easy, something is very, very wrong.
  25. Terribly sorry for all the out of character posts, but as least it's grey, so you can skip through it!
