  1. Not being hard on you, but you were wrong.
  2. It's because damage is usually also calculated with the same rolls. Here, it doesn't matter.
  3. Yeah man, it's a loop. The actual objective is to break out of the endless loop of boss battles.
  4. You're doing it wrong, that's why your quests are so hard.
  5. You were almost going to sit on a gnome. Come at me with the ships for Guts. This should be good. And, four turns in a round, got to love the Dancing shoes.
  6. The spirit leader should take double damage from the poison. Also I did not get the gold from Ravage. Speeding up, Guts attacks Spirit B, Spirit C, then Spirit D twice.
  7. Well, he was supposed be kind of a guide npc, and I feel like he can still fill that role quite well when (not if ) Quest 40 continues. I really like how you've played him. He's a slave that only knew what it was to be a slave, until he snapped. Yet that action has given him more freedom than he could ever imagine, but he doesn't know how to use it at all. I've said many times and from the beginning that Guts was a fake name and identity. And now he's struggling with that, as he doesn't really need that identity anymore, yet he feels like perhaps that's the person he is now, which is quite true. So in that logic, the Guts Holla from then isn't the real deal, but that doesn't take away that it was pretty terrible. Perhaps we'll find out soon, what is fake, what is real, and what used to be fake, and is now real.
  8. Servus likes you alright. I just reread Guts' intro, it was terrible. I don't even know. I think I tried to fit a Never gonna give you up joke in there.
  9. Guts I think respects her, because she managed to capture him. (he was sleeping.) Patricia I imagine did not want to kill him. I don't know why, she wouldn't. But it is my character, so there. She couldn't keep him locked up, so she might as well make use of him. Again, I'd have to go back to be sure.
  10. Ugh I don't even remember what I wrote there. I have no easy way to go back, I am afraid. Something about Guts being special. I think I thought up that Patricia forced Guts into Heroica because he kept escaping from prison, I think she just dislikes Boomingham.
  11. Of course not Guts. Perhaps she's married to that guy with the mustache, I don't know. I think she's more of a carreer woman, than misandristic. Perhaps she once had a family, but lost it, and that's why she's so stern? Perhaps her family is who she's trying to protect. I don't know, I haven't given it any thought. I guess we'll see!
  12. Perhaps she's a married woman, you don't know that! You rogue you, Larry.
  13. I look forward to a lot of: "Don't you have a doorway to guard?"
  14. Interesting! But... If Arthur is in employment of Patricia, why would she pay him for a job through Heroica? I assume she could just call on him to do his duty and pay him minimum wage or something.
  15. Cool party for Quest 66, by the way.
  16. You know, I think we just gave Masked a bunch of tips on how to kill us.
  17. Well, you'd probably end up getting hexed and killing your own party if you tried that. Now I see how Atramor is so destructive.
  18. Yeah, but the chance of it happening to be the one song that creates an inconvenience makes that not that big of an issue, but still, I wouldn't mess with a class' mechanics if it were me, as I said. I see, that's actually a good counter for Witches!
  19. Was he using one of those bombs? If so, that doesn't count. I don't read through battles, most of the time, and I must admit to not following/reading 53 that closely.
  20. Actually the Minstrel can choose to sing, so not a roll, but I'd say you probably shouldn't mess with a player's stats and mechanics too much. How does Atramor hurt his allies?
  21. I get it, but it's like saying an Assassin's Shield hits allies as well. If a mage conjures up a firestorm, logically, it'd probably hit their allies too.
  22. I'd actually argue that that is unfair. I would say work against in them in the context in the game. For example, if you want to counter a Hunter, make many different enemies, if you want to counter a Docken, SP piercing enemies, a minstrel could easily be countered with enemies that do party wide ether drains.
  23. Enemies immune to Lifestealer are the worst. Looks at Rumble Strike. Misplaced confidence?
