For example: Haldor uses potion > Haldor takes free hit/special team damage. Does the SP from the weapon apply? If it was the last round? If you used a different weapon before, do you have it, as it takes no turn to switch weapons.
-
Pff, why don't you just pray to your Gods and ask them for gold. Part-Cleric Chums....

I'm not sure I'd totally agree, what for example if you use a potion? I just don't like SP on weapons, I guess. Same with Guts, he was the only one that argued against ransacking the Safehouse. I can't see Guts as a Witch, Sorcerer or Black Knight (uses magic). Assassin was totally overused AND I don't see Guts as being the type to stay in the back. Don't get me wrong, he'd probably have a heavy crossbow in his room to shoot through the door and take some legs off if he'd thought there were people trying to break in, but for the rest, up close and personal. I am actually thinking of going back to Rogue before I reach level 30. Not sure if the Pro's outweigh the cons. I'd have less health and less damage output, no gold on steals, no health after battle and most importantly, no aoe damage. The only upside would be more gold, and more single target damage on shield. I really like the new Arthur, I think he's much better than man-eating/chaos preaching Arthur, very interested to see where he goes.

It is. But it's still annoying to deal with. If you attack with different weapons, does it still apply if it's equipped, if you don't attack for a round, does it apply, does it apply for area damage and free hits, that sort of complicated stuff. I think the Stag Antlers originally had SP on them? But it got changed to Intimidation which is much more fun.

Also because I made the character.

Special Mirror "Attack something else, girl. You'll hardly hurt him, only get in my way, and only give him chances to summon more of those things, or heal himself, whatever Mages do, these days." -
Quest 46: Product Testing, and Quest 33: Violetta, were also failed.

My attack should have done more since you had me attacking with my throwing Knife, you also forgot my power bonus from my gloves (25+9+2 = 36 x2 x2 x2 =288 Damage), which means he is weak to light, and he is fragile. Also I should have taken less damage, since he is also weakened. Guts jumps back in surprise as one of the spirits seemed to be on their side, which leaves him open for an attack from the mage, but not after chucking his Throwing Knife at him first. "One of you Alchemists, heal me." the Raider grunted. The raider twirls Lifestealer, then attacks with it twice from the front row. "Leave the mage to me. Keep those things back." -
I also peg Boomy as a man that likes a challenge, I don't think he'd give up very quickly. That's hilarious, and totally improbable for various reasons.
-
Also, face change.
-
Ehh? Guts's "reputation" is getting out of hand! I'd love to hear the story of that one.

Do you really think Boomingham can try out his moves and have time to be rejected or approved before the party starts? We both know that at this point poor Larry will do anything to win Patricia's favour, no matter how misguided that may be.
-
And that's why Patricia will reject him.
-
Spouting around things that are supposed to be secrets is sure to get Patricia's favour.

I am actually not sure, I didn't get to use up two turns I would have gotten in the last round of the last battle, so I'm not sure if I have them. If I do, I attack Marc four times. Also, Darkness isn't an enemy type, is it? "I can tell you that, girl..." Guts said as he slowly unsheathed Lifestealer. "The Guild controls Tonic Prices..." The raider took the Throwing Knife infused with a Diamond from his belt, in his other hand. "What they don't tell you is, mages get addicted to the stuff..." The raider moved to the front, pushing one of the alchemists to the back. "Here is the result." With that, Guts leaped forward and attacks the Mage twice. -
I don't understand, I think. I mean if you take a remedy, the doomed effect goes away, so you can use it, without killing yourself.
-
Or you know, you use a remedy.

It's like the Musical Version of Quest 52 (The Tower of Doom)! Lot of talk about doom on this page. I want Guts to be Immune to Doom....

Yeah! Something about an angry clocktower, and dancing. Can you not make Madame Ladybug in a different set of clothes?

I really liked the concept of the Continuous Battle, but I think most problems with it boil down to the fact that it went on for too long. Even without delays, 108 enemies spread over battles of 3 to 7 enemies is going to take a long, long time anyway you turn it. I disagree that there would be less potential for roleplay with this concept. If there were more friendly NPC's like Sham Poo to interact with, or other ways to take out enemies. (Perhaps convince a portion to leave after a certain number had fallen, fill the steam room with poison gas instead, that sort of thing). As it was, I think (keep in mind this is from an outsider's point of view), it was a lot of battles, and little else. I especially liked the electrical current puzzle, really fun (to me). I was also not sure about the concept working in the way that it did when not fighting. It didn't really seem to serve much of a purpose to keep doing things in rounds. Perhaps if you would make sure there were always enemies coming or something, that would have been better, and possibly sped up the quest. As always, the pictures and everything were amazing. I think it was definitely cool, and I hope someone reuses the Continuous Battle concept. It would work well in other settings as well.
-
I think you should make it less complex. Also, you should definitely not consider scrolls as items in this capacity, as they are not consumed and would very much increase the power of scrolls. Perhaps you should either just say: 2 items, one turn, max one use per round, or make it on par with an Alchemist's Instant Items or an Infiltrator's Quick Fingers. Oh sorry, I thought it was you who made the item that was clarifying it, nevermind.

The raider closed his eyes momentarily. Atramor was lying. The raider only answered: "Good on you." -

Guts leaned in to Atramor, and said silently, so he wouldn't wake the others: "I've heard talk of a young girl in Heroica, losing her child. As you know, I don't care much for rumours, but is that her?" The raider nodded his chin in the direction of Ellaria. -
Either treat Shields like artifacts in that they can be imbued or disimbued with stuff or have them be plain defense bonusses, I think. I personally haven't seen any special shields, but a quick trip to the treasury showed me there are at least three. And the marketplace does state that shields can be merged and unmerged with gems, so there you go.
