    Guts sighs. "I'll talk to her about spending some time with you, Melquiades. Any idea where she is at the moment? I'll go straight away. I won't guarantee anything, Lady Felix will do what she wants. While I am talking to her, you can take my friends to this Frozen Room?" Guts buys two agni bombs, and also an Icy Halberd, he hands over 1050 gold. "It's a pleasure doing business, again."

    For now, Guts watches his teammates battle the wisps. While observes, he chows down on his five Level-up Mushrooms. He also takes off his battered Crocodile Armour in favour of his new Mail of the Renegade Commander, he takes off his Marauder's Mantle, deciding it doesn't go well with the new armour, and holds on to the Golden Sceptre he picked up somewhere in his belt instead of it. "I'll be right back, have an idea to make this easier..." The Marauder mumbles to the battling heroes, not at all concerned that they haven't heard him. "Melquiades, back to Zeus's, if you will." Another uncomfortable teleportation later, he stands face to face with the intriguing merchant once more. "How much for an Agni Bomb?"

    "Maybe we'll find some apples or something. Or horse poison. Let's look somewhere else, for now. The pillars at the docks?" Calamity heads towards the Docks.

Goodbye Captain." "I think I shall join Arthur and Hoke at this mystical forge. Be careful you three." Guts calls for the portal-mage and after arriving and receiving an explanation asks Arthur: "Could I borrow your spare opal?"

    Calamity pets the horse's nose. "Hey horsey, think we can leave one of our posters on your fence?" "You'd rather I read books written by Ennoc's followers or something than do my experiments? Seems like a sure way to get killed. It's a surprise if any exorcism done by one of them priests goes right considering the inaccuracy I've found in some tomes."

    Calamity picks some grass and holds it up for the horse to eat. She sighs. "I don't worship demons, Annie, I have told you this before. I study them. Knowledge is power. There won't be knowledge if everyone refuses to speak about demons and the void, so I try to change that..."

    Calamity joins Annie. "Wait up, shouldn't go off by yourself, there's thugs around here, remember."

    "Sod it. I'm with you, Gerald. If this thing turns bad and results in us needing to put it down, I'd rather have it happen now, and save us another trip."

    Guts adresses Hope, his voice containing a mixture of hesitation and disbelief. "If you are Mortals, you can die... That means you say Passion is dead... right now. Then isn't what we're doing necromancy? I'm not one to argue semantics, and I realize this island isn't exactly strict when it comes to the morals of magic and sorcery... Necromancy is evil. I've seen enough to know that for sure." The Marauder takes a moment or two to collect his thoughts. There was a lot going on, and stakes that were difficult to fully understand. "Gerald, are you sure this is the right thing to be doing? Does the world need a Passion, a being powerful enough to shape the course of the world according to it's whims? If his name is any indication... Passion is more than... Love or drive or something... It can also be dark, dangerous. Sometimes in the midst of battle, I start to see red. I want blood, and it takes a force to stop me then... That too, is Passion. It's not just us he or it would be released on, not just Daneeka, U'or, us hired by you and the mages of this island. The whole world could have to deal with him. Can we decide that the world can handle such a power? Can you?"

    At first, the Marauder raises an eyebrow at Matthias words, but then finds himself nodding along to what the gnome says. "The man raises good points. Answers are due. What are you, what exactly are we doing?" "Fine. Three scrolls, 5 mushrooms, one piece of armour, for 2499 gold and the crystal ball."

    "Sure, I mean, he didn't notice me speaking to him earlier too." Calamity quickly sticks the poster to the man while Annie is talking to him.

    "Not a merchant for many years now, just... appreciative of quality. 401 gold it is." Guts also purchases 10 Level-up Mushrooms and a Mail of the Renegade Commander. (For 4400?) After that he calls Melquiades to bring him to Hybros. The Marauder grins and nods his greeting as he sees Hoke. "Right, where do you want me? How many of this council do we need to convince?"

    "Ah, how rude of me, Captain Guts Holla is the name. Pleasure. I'll take the Scrolls, Zeus, the Adamantite is slightly too rich for me, I'm afraid. I'll sell you this Crystal Ball I have, too. Now tell me, is there a world in which an enterprising man like yourself does not have something truly special hidden away in the back, something that no one has ever seen, for the right buyer, for the right price?"

    Guts smiles as Hybros greets him. "Good to see you in one piece. Matthias mentioned he had visions as well, he'd be able to tell you more. We're not the first to handle these artifacts. I don't know about all this Old-God-Business, Hybros, but it's Guffington's last wish... It's a stupid wish, granted... I guess we'll just have it happen, and be ready for anything. I doubt it will be a benevolent godlike creature, but that's just me... A few actual warriors might be good for this place, all this ether around here seems to make the mages wackier than ever. Even Arthur seems more out of it than usual. Anyways, could you show me to these shops I have heard so much about? Afterwards I will come with you to these councilmembers."
