    The marauder stares as the man known as Guffington slowly turns more and more into something else. "It's over. Farewell, Gerald... I hope you find new lands to discover, wherever it is you are now..." Guts inspects himself, dazed from the battle. His gear was dusty and bloody, his weapons in dire need of some care. Along the way he lost his coat and his hat looked bruised and ruined. It's been quite an adventure. And now it was done. Nothing left but to tie up a flew loose ends and start the journey home. "Felix, U'kin, Doc, everyone alright? Where was I? Ah yes, Piglina.... Wonder how susceptible she's going to be to my requests..."

    You'd think at some point during that first battle I'd have caught on that my Shield rolls were oddly powerful.

Captain, I want you to go to the mayor and get a complete inventory of the city's townfolk, including what they do, after that, come back here and we start training, I'll shoot bolts at the lot of you and stuff, if you can dodge a bolt of excruciatingly painful void energy, you can dodge an arrow. Meanwhile, we need to think of other ways to make the town more defensible. We are outnumbered, so we need every mean trick we can get, luckily for you, I know a lot of mean tricks. From the sounds of it they attack from ship and flank using longboats. My thinking is that if we can force them to have to use the longboats for the whole force, the whole time from the ship to shore they will be pretty much open to bolts and arrows. I can use this Garnet to block the harbour for ships for a while, perhaps even damage their ship."

    "What about magic-users, bowmen? Is there anything we can do to make the town itself more defensible? If people don't or can't fight, perhaps they can build barricades or something."

    "Perhaps it would be helpful if you told us all you know about your enemies. We know they come from the sea, to steal and murder and the usual, I presume? What else do you know, how many, what kind of weapons, tactics do they use?"

    Guts makes sure his buffs are intact, not sure if it counts as one battle or two, then steps into the Font and joins the Astral Defense party! "Cavalry's here. Piglina and her friends will be out for a while. Where do you want me?" Guts smirks as he sees Reno among the adversaries, the only familiar one in the bunch. "I distinctly remember putting you down, you mad pirate, perhaps I should do a more thorough job this time." If not given other orders, Guts attacks Cassandra with the Balanced Rapier and Reno with Mythril's Edge from the front row, then Reno with both weapons from the front row. Lady Felix also joins the Astral Defense party, if she's able.

    Guts uses a Remedy on Amarcolm and repeats. Amarcolm goes over to the party under Hybros' command. Same battle order.

    You forgot to add the second Shield's damage to her. 1104+2448+45+1464+2448+929+100=8538. She does live, oops.

    I'm annoying, I know... Guts was in the front row for both attacks this round, and Zeus should be blinded from Amarcolm's Etherial Amethyst. Piglina also should have received 929 total extra damage from the Orange Mask of Z spillover damage. Which if my math works out, results in a pork sandwich...
