"Now this... Looks interesting." Guts strolls over to the Questing Board, and signs up for Quest 87 with the usual HOLLA in big angry letters.
-
I'm sorry, JimB, but no. I do plan on hosting another quest after it is done, and you're more than welcome to go on that, but I think for the continuation it is better just to stick with the people that were already on it.
-
Oh, five then, I hope.

When both 85 and 77 are done. As a heads up, I will accept only the four heroes that are still up to it from the last quest, just so you know.
-
You could use the Metasimians from my quests if you'd want.

I, for one, welcome our eventual American overlords. I'm just saying, America, when you decide to invade, I will betray everyone around me in exchange for riches and freedom. From Brickdoctor.
-
*cough* I'm all for 'murica and whatnot and when our American overlords decide to invade the rest of the world to avoid having to pay their debt I will be the first to welcome them with open arms, but as for my understanding the arctic circle is NOT American. Polar bears have been known to go into Norway even once in a while. (according to a quick wikipedia search) Because Sandy decided were-beast doesn't mean shapeshifting man-beast, but rather just any animal people except for metasimians. And with werewolves being sometimes able to shift and sometimes not. Yeah. Also, vikings discovered America first. Maybe.

I'm not entirely sure, but I'm pretty sure sub-par math skills and possibly alcohol had a hand in that.

It's been a LONG time since I played those games though, I will probably be oblivious to the lot of them. It's actually kinda great to forget about those games, because when you do, you can play them again.

Now I want to go on your quest, Flipz, you have convinced me of the need for Guts' new battle music to be the cornered theme.

The raider took a large swig of his wine, and said, to no one in particular, but audibly: "So who in their right mind would go help a group that calls themselves the 'syndicate' that can't even organize a solid date for them to start on? Clearly their problem is not very urgent... "

That's pretty great, although homicide levels actually go up after Guts enters the hall... Hmm.. He can use that in his campaign. Conversations per day? Heroes pulling up chairs per hour?

Lies, damned lies and statistics, damn it!
-
And whose fault was that? Answer: people were just jealous of McCracken's innovative art. Probably.

Guts can not at this point confirm, deny or comment on any allegations that his presence in the hall may or may not be related to levels of activity in the hall, or homicide numbers inside or outside the hall.

You shouldn't see Heroica as something you can play full-time, by lack of a better term. It's usually just pitch in when you can. There's gonna be days, weeks, with nothing to do, and the relaxed nature of the game is one of it's plussides for me, because you can just do whatever and still be part of the game. If you want something more active, I don't think this is the game for you. Not trying to scare you away, just saying. That said, it seems to be a thing that new quests (except Endgame's) come in batches, so there's a good chance there will be new quests up soon you can sign up for.

Hm, I thought I defended myself enough, and I didn't get lynched, so there you go.

I don't really know if that's a good or a bad thing. I think there's not a lot I could have done differently, from my point of view the town won this because of smart night action use, and in such a situation, staying out of trouble and being as helpful is possible is all you can do. I don't think any gambits would really have worked out very well.

Good game, everyone. Fun theme, fun players. Thanks very much for the hosting, Hinckley and Trumpet! I was John. The only person's identity I think I guessed was Eva, who I think was captain nemo?

The raider chuckled from a corner. The colour was off, but that mask reminded him of a certain group of zealots from back home...

Guts presented a huge bag containing 500 gold, and stashed away the two stones. "Enjoy that. Heh."
-
"I saw them while you were handling your other equipment. I didn't mean to... spy on you. I'll give you five hundred gold, for both of them. An outrageous sum, but there you go."
-
"...Right."

"What's there is supposed to be there. Same for what's not. Unless you'd like to argue the matter..."
