  1. The raider is the first to arrive. Guts raises his fist to do a traditional orcish greeting, then introduced himself: "Guts Holla. What kind of transportation have you secured?" Stats seem all good, thanks for having me!
  2. "Uhm. Okay. So. Let me get this straight. So you're voting for me, because you'd like to see how I'd react to a vote, but you're saying that you're doing that, essentially muting any genuine reaction you would get from voting for someone out of the blue like you do, without reasoning. A reaction I personally think would not really tell you much coming from most people, as you're not providing any sort of reasoning behind your vote. You could literally have voted for everyone with the same words. I'm not terribly impressed."
  3. The raider picks up his pack, and swings it over his shoulder. "I like it. We'll talk soon." With that, the raider walks off, out the doors of the hall.
  4. "I have repaired and altered the ship. I can sail it. What I am suggesting is we rename it." The raider shrugged. "My name's Guts. I'm not that good with names..." The raider looked at the questing board, and with a wry smile, turned back to Nerwen. "Every time... Think about it, at least."
  5. The raider, unsure of the proper greeting, just says: "I'm alright, how about you?" The raider coughs in his hand, looks the other way, then continues: "Right. There is something I wanted to talk to you about for a while... Every time I tried either you or I had leave... I'll get to it. This... ship, that we own. I think we should name it more appropiately. Neither of us are Chiman, so..."
  6. "Gonna start us off by voting for who I personally think is the most suspicious so far. This person has a tendency to work on my suspicion sense though, so I don't really know how accurate this feeling is, but on the other hand, NOT voting for someone who you think is suspicious sounds dumb." Vote: Naemr Sledgehammer (Captain Nemo) "My reasoning being that what he's saying, suggesting gathering clues from the previous Ragnarök incident without actually doing, is a prime example of something a scum would say, and something a true Valhallan would have no reason to say."
  7. Guts moved his last piece, winning him the game. "Hm. If I hear anything along those lines, I will. Thanks for the game." The raider got up, and stretched. "And thanks for letting me win, I guess. There were at least half a dozen moments you could have won. Now if you'll excuse me, there's someone I need to see." Guts walked over were Nerwen was talking to Benji Carvenhall, and leaned against the wall, waiting for their business to be over.
  8. And I would if there wasn't the fact that Quest 40 was suspended.
  9. The only way I would want it. The only reason I only want certain people on my quest is because they have been on the first unfinished one and it's unfair NOT to give them the chance to come along if they have any desire to. Every quest can go faster. If you'd have a group of questees and QM consisting of you, Endgame, CMP and myself, we'd probably be the most active and the quickest there will be. But you have to keep in mind people have stuff to do, not always have access to (good enough) internet. I am lucky I have a laptop with internet pretty much anywhere, not everyone can do that. It's unrealistic to expect people to be more active than they are (if they are active enough) with that in mind.
  10. The raider paused his playing. He had been playing poorly, it seemed, as he was losing... The raider made a move, that would at least buy him another turn, then said: "The Wolfgang... Are scum. They are kill on sight for the Town Watch for good reason. If you fought alongside one... I don't want to know what it was you were doing, or if that was the same as you thought you were doing. Heh. So this Sixth Coffin and this she. Someone you have your eye on, or...? If there's something you think I can help you with, you should just come out and tell me."
  11. If I come across them again I will make sure to note them.
  12. "Strivvi. Seven days south, on the west coast off Abra. Surprised you haven't heard of it. You look like you'd come from that direction. Sixth Coffin, you said? Some kind of gang, an organization? I'm afraid Eubric is pretty straightforward when it comes to such things. There's the Wolfgang, and then the smallfry. And the smallfry's getting smaller, and the Wolfgang's getting bigger..." The raider took away one of his opponent's pieces, surpressing a smirk.
  13. So... I'm a user of Adblock, but I have it disabled on Eurobricks, because Eurobricks obviously makes it's money (to pay for the servers and stuff, no one is getting rich through Eurobricks, probably) through advertisements. Eurobricks' ads are pretty much not intrusive at all, so whoever else uses Adblock, I'd highly recommend you turn it off for Eurobricks. However. Just today I have had several instances of an ad making annoying, loud, noises, out of the blue, without me hovering over the add or something. Does Eurobricks get any way to choose ads, because ads like that ARE grounds for me to turn Adblock back on...
  14. "I'm just saying. There are certain people among us that will be murdering people for reasons other than the murderee being a servant of Loki." "You repeat my words and make it sound like I did a bad thing. And sad? I was one of the people that murdered the original servants of Loki, smartass. Not saying I was personally doing well, but we did it..."
  15. Okay. So Dek'ra's real identity is someone or something that makes it impossible for him to be subtle about it. That means I guess it is a character established in the Bionicle Lore? If you don't want to retcon that, yes, you might have to do something like that. Perhaps he/she/it realizes it can figure out that what it was doesn't matter as it holds no relevance in the world Dek'ra is currently in, and then opts to forget about his old identity to make it easier for himself and those around him. Anyway, what I wanted to make clear is that we like you and Dek'ra fine, don't worry so much.
  16. (feel free to move this to the theatre, anyone) Absolutely it makes sense, Bionicle is a world you can immerse yourself in, and you really really love that world. That's something no one can criticize you for and I personally think that that is awesome that you can do that. However. There is a difference between three sets of going about this: Not bringing stuff in from the fandom (I am allowed to call it that, I hope) you like. Bringing in elements from the fandom to give your own spin on the current RPG. Bringing in parts or the whole of the fandom to your character in a different world. I personally think option 2 is the one you could/should be doing, and part 3 is what you at times WAS doing, does that make sense? Take for example's Pyro's character. His name is Sarge, taken from Red vs Blue and I think he has said his character has elements from Assassin's Creed 3's mentor character as well. That's totally cool, in my opinion. What he is NOT doing, is shoving Red vs Blue's story or AC3's story on us. Why can't Dek'ra be a character whose views on things, skills, experiences and personality could be from a character or just someone that would live of the Bionicle World that you so love, to get that element in there, but don't take it further than that? Anyway that's of course all what I think. I'm far from an accomplished role-player or anything story related. Heroica is my first time roleplaying and short of a half-baked D&D session the only one as well. Don't take my word for it, do what you want to do, but key things are to play nice and be respectful as well.
  17. I personally fail to see how these statements would help saying you should kill Dek'ra off... Why can't you just keep with it as Dek'ra being somehow from the Bionicle world and essentially being a stranger in this one, and leave it at that. Perhaps Dek'ra will try to find some way to return, and of course he will keep comparing things to his old world, but is it really essential to keep incorporating elements from Bionicle that most people will not get and seem to be essential to know to roleplay alongside Dek'ra? No one should be against Dek'ra being from the bionicle world in my opinion, but you can't expect people to know the bionicle stuff or even give a thing about it. Anyway, that's just my opinion, and I hope you don't kill Dek'ra off, I always thought that the antagonistic relationship between Guts and Dek'ra was kind of cool to roleplay.
  18. "I'm pretty sure that is all engraved in the rock for all to read, anyway, I doubt your suggested course of action would help us much. If one time they did not succeed, why would Loki try again the same way? Loki's the god of trickery, not the god of predictability. If anything this is you appearing helpful without actually being helpful. Even if the way of killing is the same, then what? Is telling any killer apart going to be that big of an issue? How will that help catching a scum in a way that we couldn't otherwise?" "Pay attention numbskull, the boar is off limits till the 'game' (murdering each other because they may or may not be servants of Loki), is over."
  19. "I don't believe that I have... It's your turn."
  20. "I, for one, welcome our eventual American overlords." Now in quotation marks, because of mafia. From Hinckley.
  21. The raider moved one of his pieces on the other side of the board. "You... don't talk much do you... Or at all?"
  22. "No wonder people used to live less long.... I mean, ox urine is no cure for punctuation, I can tell you that for a fact."
  23. "Everyone knows Ox Urine only helps for mild to severe cases of hemörrhoids and neckpain. Are you sure you know what you're doing, Pudding-Head?" "And yes, the ö was intentional. It sounds more authentic that way."
  24. I'm not actually going to play checkers through text, it's gonna take weeks to finish a game. The raider takes the hand of his opponent, a dark skinned man with a sensible haircut. "Guts. Guts Holla. Hm. This game... In Strivvi we place the pieces on the red spots. There were also dice involved." The raider casually moves one of his pieces a space up.
  25. "Is it though? We have a bunch of rules, people are going to be horribly murdered based on their allegiance soon enoug, people are questioned for their use or non-use of quotation marks... I say that sounds like Valhalla is a tad un-free." "I'm not a guy, guy. " "It's explained in the intro, noob."
