  3. To me the Barracuda is to small to have a gundeck, maybe a brigantine, so that deck is better suited for crew quarters, as it is. The guns would be in the main/open deck, and I've put there 4 of them, in reality they would'nt be bigger than 6 pounders.
  4. 350€ - 200€ ?!? Easy pass for me, the Barracuda still rules the seas
  5. What a jolly good idea! But maybe swap the legs with the "desert warrior", they have a more sindbadesque shoes.
  6. Agreed! It was also my comeback, and what a glorious comeback it was.
  7. Thank you! Good idea, A rowboat with a chest, and a lot of bottles, is on is way, and maybe more barrels and crates will find their way to José's Inn.
  8. There where lots of Duplo sets of Bob the Builder.
  9. And a berber pirate? We never had one, unless we consider CMF Desert Warrior as such.
  10. Random Lego Related questions Part II ?
  11. And now the brick version, with the "window" 59349pb332 that I didn't found in stud.io, better than the white wall.
  12. A display GWP for a display set...
  13. And that was Classic Pirates, in PotC we never got one
  14. We had our share of pirate ships, the Pearl, the QAR, again the Pearl, and what about the HMS Interceptor?
  15. Even 330€ is, imo, too expensive for the part and minifig count.
  16. 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay 10365 The Black Pearl Pieces 2545 2861 Minifigs 8 8 Price 200 € 380 € I know its not the some thing, license, inflation, etc... but, almost twice the price?!? I'm out
  17. Diversity, unlike imperials one can not army building pirates, the pirate bundle from PAB is useless, unless someone wants a diorama with attack of the one-eyed clones... And yes, its also an excuse to get a bunch of unique pirates
  18. Totally, A Pirates CMF would be a dream come true
  19. An excellent adaptation of an excellent film! Supported!
  20. Your variations on this set, Jungle and Orient, are excellent. This set is truly chameleonic and works with almost any theme.
  21. Mostly Pirates but and sometimes can't resist a good buy like 60430 Interstellar Spaceship, beautiful ship, lots of printed parts, zero stickers, all for 20€. A perfect set. Or the little cute 40650 Land Rover Classic Defender.
  22. Thank you sir @Yperio_Bricks
  23. Greetings! I grew up with Lego in the 70’s and always loved pirates, but building sailing ships with the parts available wasn’t easy, and the result wasn’t pretty, but I spend many wonderful hours trying my best, in absence of proper minifigs I used Arial soap-powder/detergent premium figures. Now, many years later, I am the proud owner of set 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay, witch I bought mainly for the ship version but the desert Island deserved a upgrade. When I saw set 43223 Asha in the City of Rosas I thought, colonial architecture, bottles everywhere, it’s a Pirate set! btw, congrats to @KolonialbeamterdeMartinez and @The Reader for their variations on this set. So, with minor color modifications (that teal roof…) José’s Inn is back in business in the now not so deserted Barracuda Bay.
  24. Hi, My name is Rui, I’m a portuguese afol, after several years just looking at the magnificent MOCs and MODs in this fórum I decided it was time to sign up and maybe show something. I grew up with Lego, btw I’m 60… it was my favourite toy, and after a very long dark age I bought Pirates of Barracuda Bay and now Pirates is my favourite theme.
