Does the green snakemobile have 2 2-headed snake warriors, or does the picture just show how it looks with the tail and with legs; and the set comes with both tail and legs but one torso and head? Are the 1x1 round tiles on the staffs printed, or do we have stickers for them?
-
Wow, that does look like a hammerhead. It could be a minion for the hammerhead warrior from Atlantis sets or the Black Pearl.

Does anyone else find it ironic that the only fire theme that could legitimately have a fire helicopter doesn't have one? I think these themes are better than the normal city fire and police. I really dig the new dark red theme for vehicles and fire hats. I was wondering what the criminals would be doing in the woods, since most backwoods crime is stuff like moonshine distilleries and meth labs, which is definitely not LEGO appropriate. And we finally get a grizzly bear! I'll get the smaller set that it's in, if it isn't too expensive.

I really like the blue snake guy and the two headed one. We finally have a new snake mold, which I have been wanting for a long time. I like Cole's Tread Buggy, and it also comes with the blue snake warrior. I think it is good to get a staff, Zane ZX, and 2 new snakes plus some other good pieces in the smallest set.

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion

Since the daggers come on a sprue with two daggers, does this mean the castaway will have two daggers? Or will they abandon the sprue? Same thing with the flower petals. -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion

I think the Aztec warrior might steal the crown of coolest minifig from the current holder. I was just thinking about an Aztec warrior a few days ago, so this is really cool. Poseidon, bagpiper, and the guy with the sword look cool. The hippie is my dad from the '70s. ;) -
The Flying Dutchman minifig looks nice and its good to get a bunch of green pieces and palm leaves, but the ship looks pathetic.

Thanks for this, it's really helpful info. Are the prices in Canadian? I agree with the sun-forum idea, but it would have to be constantly updated since the PaB walls change.

I think that if even if LEGO got a Nintendo license, the sets would be bad. LEGO has never made a theme just for AFOLs, so a majority of these sets would have to be for children. Do you know any kid nowadays who grew up with Super Mario Bros. or Ocarina of Time or Pokemon Red and Blue? There are some kids these days who have never even heard of an NES or SNES or other retro game systems, so LEGO isn't going to make a theme that kids (95% of their market) couldn't relate to. So this means that if this did happen, we'd be getting sets based on Mario Tennis and Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess. Although this means that we would still probably get Mario and Link minifigs, they would come in crappy overpriced sets.

weirdest place you've found random LEGO?

Today I was walking through the parking lot at school to go outside to gym. I saw a Hero Factory Quaza spike on the ground. By the time I registered it in my mind, i had already passed it. :( I came back to it before getting on the bus to go home, and it was still there! I picked it up and now have a Hero Factory part. -
[MOC] Egyptian temple

Thanks for your compliments. I'm glad you like this. The propeller was originally just a backdrop, but I guess you could also say that it is some diabolical weapon of the mummies. :) -
Thanks for the heads up. I never would have thought to look at the online PaB since their prices are usually high, but I might find some good rare stuff if I need it.

The blue rails look like 4.5V track. I don't know about the metal ones. It almost looks like 12V.

This is what a real medieval dentist would look like if they had power tools. I like this, it gets the point across and is funny while being simple.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll have to pay Bricklink prices or get lucky at a yard sale now. :(

Name:Arc welder Gender:Male Torso Print: Shirt with some burns or tears in it. Some arm printing for welding gloves. Headgear:Welding mask Facial expression:concentrated Accessory:Welding torch and tanks. This will be a bit big for a CM, so I think this should be an impulse set. stuntman (kind of like Evel Knievel) Victorian diver (with large bell helmet, but I have seen concept art for this minifig, so it might be in CM7 or 8) Noble from the 1700s with powdered wig

This looks like a neat idea. Unfortunately, I don;t have a smart phone, so I can't play it :(. It looks like you could just download the app and buy the baseplate of the Internet, and use your own bricks.

I think these would be more popular with the kids than normal collectible minifigs are, if they came with paint/markers/art supplies. Maybe LEGO could include a minifig with Crayola or Roseart products as a promotional thing. I think purists would balk at this idea, and I would never buy one, or at least would never paint one.

Age:16 Age you started building: ~4 Country:USA Occupation:Student Married:no Children:no Does your spouse or child/children build:N/A Do you have close friends who build:no Do you build together with your friends:no Do you regularly attend Lego conventions:I would if there were any in my area, but I don't since there aren't any locally. How much money do you spend on Lego product a year:$100 to $150 How much time do you spend building/playing a day:about half an hour Favored theme/themes:Bionicle, Insectoids, Collectible Minifigures, Atlantis, Adventurers, Islanders Do you primarily collect retail sets, build MOCs, or both?I buy retail sets which get taken apart and made into MOCs Did you experience a "dark age":no If yes, what age did you enter your "dark age"N/A What age did you exit your "dark age":N/A Other hobbies (other toy collecting, sports, drawing etc.):Track, Boy Scouts, Pokemon, reading, Science Olympiad. In your own words what makes Lego bricks so special:They give you the materials for you to create whatever you can imagine. They also give you some constraints to work around (bricks in production, bricks you have, etc.) which provides a challenge to overcome, which I like doing. They are also high quality, so they will last probably my whole life, and hold their value so I'm not left with a collection of worthless bricks in a few years, like other fads might. May I PM you with a request for a personal interview:If the interview is over the Internet

My school has a 3D printing rapid prototype machine. According to the teacher, the plastic cost USD 4.18/cubic inch (in 2009/2010) and the machine was about the price of a car, but cost the school less because of grants. Depending on the complexity and size of the object being prototyped, it would take about an hour to a day to make something. Minifig accessories would probably take a few hours each.

I don't have too much space, so I have 2 stacks of drawers. Each drawer is about a foot wide and 1.5 feet long. One stack has 6 drawers about 2.5 inches deep. The other stack has 3 drawers about the same size as the first stack, 4 drawers about an inch or an inch and a half deep, and 2 drawers about an inch or 1.5 inches deep with compartments. In the first stacks of drawers I have yellow, red, white, light grey, basic blue, and specialized blue bricks. In the large drawers in the second stack I have basic black, specialized black, and dark grey. In the smaller non-compartmentalized drawers I have greens, browns, oranges, and tires. In the compartmentalized drawers I have small Tehnic pieces and minifigures and minifig pieces. I also have 4 bins with about the same volume as a large drawer. In these I have black Technic, grey and silver Technic, warm colored (red, orange, yellow, brown, gold, etc.) Technic, and cool colored (blue, green, purple, white, etc.) Technic. I have my Bionicles assembled and on some shelves. I have a few sets assembled and in various locations around my room. I keep whatever MOCs I have on top of my brick drawers. I forgot to mention that I use the plastic buckets that bulk bricks come in for storing railroad tracks and the pieces for a MOC I'm working on. I also have a box of train stuff.

Do either of the Toronto stores have a PaB wall? If they do, do they have a good selection, or is it just basic bricks? What are the dimensions and prices for the various sizes of cups? I've never been to a LEGO store or LEGO land, but hopefully will get to Toronto around Thanksgiving. What I really need for a MOC I'm working on is about 250 each of red and white 1x1 plates. Is it likely that I could find them?

Where I live, instead of buses of Canadians to buy booze we get buses of Canadians to buy clothes and appliances (and probably LEGO) at the mall because of cheaper prices. This is a nice MOC and I like the jail cell, but it looks a bit small for more than one person.

I like this. Making Mickey out of HF parts is definitely unconventional, and I think that the end result looks nice. It has a very ominous look to it though.

I like the broken stairs in it, that was a nice touch. The rock work definitely looks very jagged and realistic. Good job.
