Mitgardian Prime Minister Election
soccerkid6 replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Trading posts will benefit both those who live in the mountains and those who dwell in cities. Cities gain access to more raw materials and products that come only from Mitgardian's mountains as well as gaining more business as they provide manufactured goods to the trading posts and reach a new market. -

Excellent build Wedge, I like the pillars holding the aqueduct and you captured the ruined feel well (seems like I've said that on some of your other builds too ). The foliage and tree look good too. There are a couple things I think could be improved: the brown works well for dirt, but I don't like how the switch to tan is a perfectly straight line, I think it would look better if some parts of the brown stuck out farther like you did with the tan; the water looks good for the most part, but I think some bubbles foam around where the waterfall hits would improve it

Very unique castle, both the colors and layout are unusual and I like both The 1x1 rounds in the walls add a nice texture and I like the red roofs. Great interiors too

Mitgardian Prime Minister Election

Manaor has already shown his solutions and shown that they work as they have been implemented successfully in Sveithaven. Also Manaor has worked faithfully to improve the defenses of Mitgardia, overseeing the training of new troops, and helping in the physical labour of building fortifications (see campaign post). -
Collecting the Pieces- The Enchanted Pumpkin.

I think this is one of your best yet I like the brick brick courtyard and the wood work. The tan section looks a little out of place to me though, I think it might have been better to take that out and just use the other colors even though it would lose some height -
Mitgardian Prime Minister Election

And how long will Maxersine be able to afford to do so? What incentive is there for people to work if their needs are provided for by others? Manaor may not be as rich as Maxersine, but his solution is long term, not merely a handout to gain votes. -

Incredible rockwork as always and I really like the colorscheme of the build Great to see you did an interior too, the fire place and stand for the barrel are excellent. The angled wood supports on the house are pretty sweet, I don't recall seeing them done the way you did with 1x2 tiles. Only one thing bothers me a bit: the gap at the peak of the roof. If you could have done some sort of gables to cover that up I think it would look better

Maxersine's plan to give the poor stoves to keep them warm is all good and fine. But who pays for those stoves? The rest of Mitgardia! Manaor will give the poor work to do in return for pay so that they can improve their conditions by themselves. Those not willing to work should not be prospering from others labor. -
Collecting the Pieces-Finding the Aevi Fruit

Thanks for the link, he has some really incredible dragons Good suggestion for snow on the mountain, I'll keep that in mind. Glad you like the rubies as fruit, I wanted to make the fruit different than just an apple or cherry and liked the look of the rubies Thanks, black is a bit of a pain to photograph. What part did you want to see? Thank you, glad you like the gold/black colorscheme- 25 replies

That tree stump is great Nice work on the undergrowth and skeleton too. Some trees, even if only saplings, would help give the feeling of a forest -

Raising the Dead – Collecting the Pieces Chapter 1 Part 3
soccerkid6 replied to Mike S's topic in Guilds of Historica
Tarill has obtained a fruit of an Aevi tree: -
The dragon and tree were the two parts of this build I focused on the most, the dragon is quite flexible and based off of mrcp6d's Ice Dragon design. The Aevi tree is a rare tree that grows only in the Mountains of Mitgardia. Its fruit is highly sought after and said to bring good health. The Aevi fruit is one of the ingredients needed to make the Kiss of Life potion. Tarill has finally found an Aevi tree and is about to go on his way after picking a fruit, but stops when he sees that a young Marglod dragon has snuck up on him: The Aevi Tree Tarill cautiously moves to touch the dragon with the butt of his spear: Surprisingly the dragon seems to like it and pushes his head against the spear: After petting the beast for awhile Tarill felt confident that it wouldn't harm him and climbed down: Some pics showing the flexibility of the dragon: More pics here: link All comments/criticism/suggestions appreciated

Wonders of Historica: Shrine of Immortality
soccerkid6 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in Guilds of Historica
Really neat tree design I also like the rickety stairs (great use of those tiles) and the bird. The boat is the only thing that looks a little strange to me, I think it would be better if the fig could stand lower in the boat -

I'm a little confused as to why the two men were attacked Cool tree though

But but you said you'd vote for Manaor: Great builds Garmadon, I really like the trowel you made and the fireplace looks great Not sure I like the slogan: "Putting Fire in Mitgardia."

The white building is great, I especially like how you angled the 1x8 arch and the gold dots add some nice color The aqueduct itself looks very good too, I like the use of curved slopes on it. And your sandscape is excellent. Thanks for getting the Wonders of Historica going
