Nice use of gears in the lower level Cool mole too, though his legs look a little spindly
-
That wind wagon is superb Sweet desert-scape, and the sand worm looks suitably menacing
-
Great fire and smoke effects! I like the dark bley/dark green base too

Voting Thread: Warzon 5, Battle of the Deep Sands
soccerkid6 replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Personally, I think each team has several world class builders. And if you really want to get right down to it, even I have beaten Disco in a contest before... Even just in challenge IV, for the 8x8 battle category, I think that Maxim had one of the two best entries. As Jacob said, everyone has a chance if they try. -

Interesting idea and a nice use for tires in a Castle setting -
[WZ5:I10, Desert King] Sand Worm Encounter
soccerkid6 replied to Hammerhand's topic in Guilds of Historica
Sweet desert landscape, I really like the bley/tan rock The mouth of the worm looks fabulous, though the body looks a little odd, I think it might be the lack of articulation there. Though your offsetting of the inverted slopes does help with that -

AoM Store phase 3: To Many Ice Diamonds!
soccerkid6 replied to Tomsche's topic in Guilds of Historica
Definitely one of your best yet The interior looks great, and you have some neat decorations on the exterior. The gap at the bottom of the roof is a bit distracting though. -
Really neat perspective here The landscape looks good too

It would be nice to see a bit more bracing between the legs of the tower, looks a bit top heavy now. Still, a very cool (or should I say hot?) look out post- 14 replies

soccerkid6 replied to Jacob Nion's topic in Guilds of Historica
You really have a knack for brick built beasts, and this is one of my favorites so far Great lance design too I agree that those heroica swords are sadly underused, I've implemented them as pikes a bit before myself -
Neat wall design

Ah, so nice to see a Mitgardian build again, and an excellent one at that! As ME said, the composition is very good. The crumbled tower looks great, and I like the little pine trees
