  1. Wow. I am beyond words for these fantastic sets. I've noticed that the new skin color is used in 4 out of 5 of the new sets, and I'm glad they are more accurate, rather than having normal flesh. The Cairo set will be my first buy, then Venice, and the cemetary. The other two I will probably skip. -The Cairo set is just plain fantastic. 4 great figures, for what I'm guessing is $10. That, the big barrel, plus the 3 apples (do they even have those in Eygpt?), gold plate, market stand and hay cart make this a must buy. -Venice is great too, I was hoping for Marcus, but I'm not unhappy with what we have. The Elsa looks great, and so do the other figures. -The cemetary looks alright, but I will probably get it because it looks cheap. The warrior figs are nice, and so is Indy with a new face. I'm assuming that the mold for Mutt's bike isn't finalized, so thats why its as pictured. -The plane set looks very boring, and the ToD is nice, maybe I'll get it on sale. I'm glad we are getting a wide variety of figures of Indy himself this year, first the ToD Shanghai suit, then the professor and tan shirt. And he has a new face to change it up. Nice job TLC!
  2. You know, when I made the first of these vignettes, I never thought I'd end up doing this many. I guess its just too much fun! This is from "The Dundies", which are awards made up by Micheal and presented to his employees over dinner at Chili's. Some of these awards include "world's longest engagement", to Pam and Roy, "Busiest Beaver" to Phyllis, "Hottest in the Office" to Ryan and "Spicy Curry" to Kelly. Pam and Roy This one is from "Fun Run". Micheal accidentally hits Meredith with his car one morning, and cracks her pelvis. (The brown stuff on the ground is supposed to be spilled coffee ) Before- After- This last quick one was from "Crime Aid". After the office is robbed, Micheal holds an auction in the warehouse to raise money to replace the stolen goods. Hank the security guard performs his original blues songs, and sells CD's (tan stack). This is what I was asking about the guitar for. Hank- Thanks for looking!
  3. Why? Its obviously Gunray, fans have wanted him for a while now. And this is from the episode "Bombad Jedi" because Farr is in it. It really wouldn't make sense to have an obscure character when we can have a major one we've wanted for a while.
  4. Nice! That bike is great, and I see you used the Dooku hair and torso. Are those dark brown legs? Great Work.
  5. German Plane = FAIL No, seriously, it looks worse than in the other pictures. I've improved my judgement on the red and white one though. I doubt I'll get that plane set though. No new figures. And I'm willing to bet Bruce Wayne will guest star as another pilot...
  6. Wow! Looks nice! I hope we soon se pics of some of the smaller sets. That green alein with the four arms is really creative. TLC!
  7. That Elsa looks fantastic! The Indy line is great for female figures. That Venice chase looks nice, but I hope they do something else to the Fez hat, it just doesn't look right without hair... That definately looks like a new motorcylce mold, but is that a new color? Too bad the cemetary doesn't resemble a cemetary... Thanks for these pics!
  8. I'm planning on making a minifig scaled guitar for a MOC, and I was wondering if anyone has any good techniques for making one. Thanks!
  9. I wouldn't. You might end up regretting it later. You could keep it for you kids, if you ever plan on having any, or do. My parents always tell me they wish my grandparents kept their childhood toys.
  10. I just thought I'd point out that my Office vigenettes, as seen in the "other themes" section, have been featured on the popular Office Fansite, Officetally! I sent a link to my flickr in, but I didn't think this would happen. Some of the pictures have over 500 views and counting! Here's the link, its under "-Fan Creation: The Office, LEGO-style" : http://www.officetally.com/2009-01-25-tally Just thought I'd share. Thanks for putting up with my bragging! -darthperson
  11. I was thinking of doing something from that episode. Maybe Michael hitting Meredith with his car!
  12. Very nice! I noticed that a lot of the interior and such were pieces from the advent calendar. It seems like that is a great expansion pack to 10193.
  13. This vig is from the episode "Saftey Training". Before a stunt to "teach" his workers about the dangers of depression and suicide, Michael tests his jump off the roof using a watermelon. He and Dwight toss it off the roof and it bounces off of the trampoline onto Stanley's car. Rear view Front view Micro trampoline This one is from "Business School". A bat gets into the office and Dwight takes quick action with a net. Figures- Angela, New version of Jim, and Dwight. Thanks for looking!
  14. Nice! I like your Michael Figure! Very funny! Haha! Very clever...
  15. This is a very tough descion. I am going to have to go with the Jungle Duel. It has so many rare pieces that were new to me, like the tent, chicken, banana, cutlass, golden katana, and ants, as well as many cool pieces that I love to have more of, like the map, cup, frying pan, backpack and crate. Plus the Mutt and Spalko figures are fantastic, and have two great new hairpieces and faces.
  16. He has a curved handle, I don't know what you are talking about...
  17. As cool as that sounds, I doubt Lego would give us a set based on the actual president. Maybe a generic version though...
  18. I meant MOCs based on things that actually happened. I have come to realize after reading some of these posts, I not longer think this MOC is so tacky as I once did. I have no problem with police, rescue, weapons etc. in Lego form. Its just I don't think its fair to families of victims/people who went through things (ex 9/11) to see something that uses something so beloved like Lego to depict their specific truamatic experience. Thats all.
  19. Whats the big black thing in front of the director? These are very nice...
  20. Maybe the "Slave kid" is that kid maharajah?
  21. Derek

    Just eat it!

Haha! Thats terrible! Yet completely hilarious!
  22. Where did you hear that rumor?
  23. I made a few more figures for MOC's, and thought it wouldn't hurt to post them in this thread The Finer Things Club (Pam, Toby, and Oscar) and outsider Andy I thought Tinn-man's Toby was so good, I decided to use it for my vig. I hoep you don't mind ) Phyllis and Creed Cameraman
  24. I had this idea tonight, to do a vignette of the interview room on The Office, because it is an important part of the show. Phyllis getting Interviewed Creed (one of my favorites) Cameraman Phyllis & Creed Thanks for looking! P.S- Check out my new flickr account
  25. I'm guessing around $20 for the graveyard and $30 for Venice, however, it would be fantastic if they were both $10 lower. I would much rather only one of the Brotherhood figs, as opposed to two, if we can have Marcus (I think thats him on the dock! ) I will probably get the Cairo, Venice, and Graveyard sets. MAYBE the Temple of Doom if its cheap. The plane set just looks boring to me.
