  1. The show gives them a way out if it succeeds. New casts for minifigs and more locations not shown (or in not as great detail) in the movies. Otherwise even though sales a strong on this theme currently it will die hard when it does. Personally I think Lego Harry Potter is done by the end of the decade, but I don't believe the show will succeed.
  2. Have any summer sets been leaked besides June 1 sets? All of SW's June 1 sets leaked at the same time as the other themes Star Wars just gets an August wave unlike most themes.
  3. Licensing rights seems like the most likely answer. Probably the same reason they can't do a Star Wars CMF line.
  4. I don't think it is demographic shift, but demographic expansion. I got my first Lego themed set in 2005 (don't know when I first got Duplo or Lego bricks). They had 397 sets that year in total. Last year they had 938 sets. In 20 years they have increased the number of sets by 2.35x. A lot of growth has been in the adult market with 18+ sets, but a lot has also been in sets for kids.
  5. But I just don't see them doing another $260 flagship play set. I am still baffled on how Harry Potter got that but Star Wars hasn't done more than $200.
  6. How upset would people here be if they do an Astronomy Tower set and it isn’t taller than the Main Tower? While they have been more accurate on the exteriors than before they have made design decisions like the stairs to the boathouse and the Great Hall courtyard that aren’t accurate or proportional but make the set simpler to build, mini fig compatible or simply more affordable. I see them doing the same with the Astronomy Tower. $200 was already a high watermark for a play set and now we have a $260. I can’t see them doing another $240+ play set in this line. Maybe $200 but not much more and so with that the Astronomy Tower couldn’t be taller than the Main Tower unless they can figure out a way to do it without a large base like the Main Tower for stability.
  7. Its on the Lego website as the last image once you click on the set
  8. Official images are now leaking. As expected the book ends fold upon themselves to become a book nook, but it doesn't look great that way. Not sure why Lego didn't just call this set "Book Ends: Hogwarts Express" instead of trying to shoehorn all the sets into a similar label of book nook
  9. I was on the fence of 77057, but seeing the back image with being able to stack the houses is amazing.
  10. Is Herbology really that overpriced? Potions was $40 vs this at $50 (not including the $5 tariff price hike since Lego can't control that). The width and length dimensions are the same, but Herbology is 1-2 bricks taller. The student torso prints are likely to be exclusive to this set as well as Sprout, which Potions had neither of. And I'm pretty sure they gave Snape leg and arm printing in that set knowing they were going to reuse it in a set the next year for Dueling Club. Plus a new mandrake mold, new pot piece and plenty of large plant pieces. And just like Potions I expect this set will go on discount at non-Lego retailers after 6 months if the price is to much to buy at release.
  11. Herbology looks nice and the little closed up image on the side of the box looks good too. Seems pretty easy to modify too to expand it.
  12. Finally back to a screen big enough to really digest the leaked images and my sets for comparison. First thing I noticed was the Main Tower is 38 studs wide versus the Great Hall at 48 studs wide, which seemed pretty substantial but probably dimension correct. It makes me wonder how much they set the set dimensions when they started dreaming up the entire wave. Clearly for angles and connections to work you don't have a lot of flexibility with where the pegs and clips need to be. I think the weird window Percy is posed in will be the way to connect the Viaduct Entrance to the Main Tower. It is at the right height and close to the right angle for that bridge. It would abandon the peg and clip method for that connection, but otherwise it seems plausible. Really itching for a leak of the Herbology set to confirm if that hooks into the back of the Flying Lesson set.
  13. I’m pretty sure the Main Tower set included more than the Grand Staircase for stability purposes, so I am wondering if they do the Astronomy tower won’t they have the same problem. Is there anything besides the Viaduct entrance they could connect it to? Of could Flying Lesson be the bridge between the two and you remove the top to place the Astronomy Tower set?
  14. Flying lesson definitely connects some way. It had 2 side clips and 1 back clip. I expect the back clip to be used for the Herbology set, so we just need to wait for that to leak. Set name leaks for Jan 1 2026 should make it clearer on if it is the last year of the wave. The back clips give me hope that we still have 2 years left.
  15. 3 visible pins on the back of this set (probably 4, but the chess module is hiding that area). None it appears on the side that would connect to the Viaduct Entrance. So either the back pins will be used for that connection and a set in between or they won’t physically connect. Assuming we get a Viaduct entrance. It also seems possible those pins are for connecting towards the Clocktower area.
  16. Getting prepared for tonight's Andor S2 release it is making really want a Partisan X-wing set one day, especially with Two Tubes.
  17. Yeah it be nice for a new one to hit shelves, but no matter what fans would complain about the price of the set it is in given the cost for moulded big figs.
  18. The SW buildable logo set was a 18+ set. If it was that or another micro scale set, I’m indifferent. Marvel was 12+ and I’d be disappointed with a play set being replaced by that.
  19. The Virginia factory decision had nothing to do with the tariffs as it was announced in 2023. I'd expect it was more related to shipping costs given the US is the largest market for the company.
  20. Guaranteed they will see price increases for HP sets. Most are going up between 5-10%.
  21. I think 27 cm doesn't include side builds, but is from farthest point forward to farthest point back from looking at my set.
  22. The book nook also is pretty near identical to the leaked sketch. The interior of the Main Tower though was done differently and from a different leaker so I still wonder if that was a true leak or an artistic rendition of the text leak.
  23. They do... That information is just not up top which is likely done because of space constraints and not wanting to shrink the font.
  24. There is a Duros in the set, so that is where it came from probably.
  25. If they go the POA route this would be a perfect GWP to go with it as well. Similar to the Borgin and Burkes GWP which tied into the Burrow.
