Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

Really leaning into it being a battle pack. Buy 2 sets and you can have 4 unique Death Eaters on top of the one in Gringotts. -

I think you are right. That might be the first new young Draco faceprint. He weirdly is the most common mini-figure for HP, mainly because Harry gets more variants. -

We got a set description, but didn't get one for the Lovegood house. So those have been the two rumored as Lego exclusive, but it makes me believe it can't be far away. -

All but the Hospital Wing images leaked on reddit this morning. Kinda disappointed they used budget for a light brick in the Lovegood house instead of a Ron mini-figure, but all solid builds. There is a new death eater torso print along with the old one from Gringott's returning which is nice so you don't have clones of death eaters. Edit: Now I see there is a sticker/print for Tales of the Beedle and the Bard and I love that. Even with the slightly disappointing mini-figure lineup this is an early contender for best set of the year for HP. -

The Potions set seems to be the near perfect approach to what to do when a theme is running out of unique media to portray. Well priced, a good display piece for AFOLs, plenty of play-ability, and unique. Wouldn't mind a a crystal ball done similarly for Divination, some form of plant in a pot (too soon for a repeat Mandrake) for Herbology, and you could do an oversized boggart wardrobe for DADA. -

In before we discuss the actual pictures of January's wave, I decided to review Lego's current catalog of 14+ sets since there are no current Harry Potter examples for the summer 2026 wave. I didn't find a single current 14+ set on shelves for under $100 original retail (a few under with sales). So with two of them rumored for the summer wave it makes we wonder what $100+ and 800+ piece sets Lego could do if we assume the 10+ set is the large castle addition. -

Yeah, hopefully the spider is big enough to not fit naturally in the DADA classroom. Personally, I wouldn't mind a close redo of the Aragog but changing the color to black to match the scene. -

Nope, they just sound like they were written for SEO and data mining which honestly is all a description matters for now a days. I think my frustration with these exchangeable modules is that they haven't given us a single location above ground for the large ones. And only 1 for the small versions. So all you can do to modify your castle without significant MOCing is change the dungeons. -

In the Hospital Wing it sounds like only the DADA classroom is a slidable module. That should make some people happy -

I think by now we would have had rumors saying it includes the Clock tower if it did. So I'm to believe that it is just a portion of the Quad and there could still be a later Clock Tower (though not counting on it). -

While only $20 more, it is 250 pieces (40%) more than the Flying Lesson. I would think that is enough pieces to get three large rooms worth of exterior bricks. Especially since if you consolidate the side portion of the Flying Lesson set into the main Tower of it, you could make it big enough to have 2 large modules. So all you need is enough pieces to add a third large on top. -

Well... no Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing. Given Lego has only made her once, this makes absolutely no sense at all. Happy to get the Grey Lady and Ravenclaw Common Room, but this set just seems oddly put together with DADA in the "basement". -

Wondering if the "Fat Friar" mini-figure is actually Sirius? While not completely grey, his robes in POA are close enough to be confused in a blurry picture and would fit in with POA. -

The Astronomy Tower if done, could be taller. The Hospital Wing hints heavily at being connected to the Main Tower so that will make it even deeper. Not sure a cabinet or display case will be deep enough. -

I'd argue this rumors makes it likely Lupin is in the Hospital Wing set but rather in his DADA classroom than in the Hospital Wing itself. How they fit the DADA classroom into what I expect will be a three story structure I don't know. That set should have 6 mini-figures. Harry, Ron, Hermonie, Pomfrey, Dumbledore and add Lupin to make it 6. That being said a description of the Cauldron set leaked as well, so I'm assuming a description of the Hospital Wing set is not too far behind and all this guesswork will be over. -

Luna would be the Lovegood home most likely. Cat is either Umbridge or McGonagall, so I'd guess a summer wave set. Maybe dreaming but we get a Ministry of Magic D2C with Umbridge and the court room scene. I don't think they are making the Patronus fit into the scenes, but you never know. Edit: Forgot we are likely getting another McGonagall in the Sorting Hat ceremony set, so there is your cat. -

I LOVE this. Since I've just come back to Lego there hasn't been any new Patronus molds and I've nearly bought old sets for those exclusively. This also confirms the Hospital Wing is the third year with Lupin's wolf. Disappointed to get another repeat of that scene, but it was very likely. -

Rivendell was $33 per mini-figure, Barad-Dud was $46 per mini-figure, and the Shire at $30 per mini-figure. If Minas Tirith gets only 8 mini-figures, that would put the high cost estimate at $400, which means a set around 3500-4000 pieces likely. -

People like to see themselves in the media/toys/etc... they consume. Even beyond things like gender or race, a kid in a wheelchair probably is ecstatic to see a Lego sets that includes a wheel chaired mini-figure. Or those hearing-impaired a mini-figure with a hearing implant. Sure people will buy and want things that have different experience portrayed, but its not crazy to think people want to see themselves (or somebody they could be) in their toys. -

Harry Potter is better set up for normal sets being festive themed since Harry Potter exists within the existing holiday calendar. Plenty of holidays are seen celebrated at Hogwarts in the movies. Also SW is the only theme that gets novelty sets based on Holidays and even then not every year. -

Maybe, but Lego has been pretty honest with putting locations in the right buildings and the Hospital Wing goes behind the Main Tower not near the Viaduct entrance.
