  1. Largest as in highest piece count? Volume? Or Price? I know the post didn't mention, but I can easily see Minis Tirith having the most pieces but still being around the price of Rivendell.
  2. Seems they are updating box art on any set that retires in 2027 or later. Pretty clear confirmation this was done to avoid confusion with the series coming out. Since box collectors are a real thing, I wonder what version of these boxes will be more desirable.
  3. I think a lot of people have misread the smart bricks. Everything leaked so far indicates there is no app coming, but rather just juiced up light/sound bricks that used RFID readers.
  4. Smart bricks don't mean bigger, they just mean more expensive. Lego could easily give a smaller castle modular wave with smart bricks that would have substantially worse price per piece ratios.
  5. How is getting Gryffindor's at twice the size of the others different than getting a small Gryffindor and none of the others? It makes complete sense they would dedicate more budget and space to a part of the castle where the main characters spend a lot of time. And be careful what you say. Fully possible the next Hogwarts Castle invokes the Smart Brick stuff they are rolling out with Star Wars next year and every set will be $20-30 USD more expensive for that alone.
  6. Back to the Hospital Wing. I've just noticed the side rock facades have gaps in them (where the windows in DADA slot in). Not sure if it was done to save pieces, try to make it seem more like DADA isn't in the dungeons, or something else.
  7. HBO Max is Warners Brothers so the license hasn’t changed hands
  8. Thanks! So if we are to believe the theories that the box art hints at the next sets, we are getting the Astronomy Tower and Viaduct Entrance this summer. I would be 100% good with that.
  9. What part of the castle is the background image depicting? Also, not loving the print on Penelope's head. It just feels lacking. Almost like a minifigure from a decade plus ago.
  10. I personally believe that back connection is just to open up extra possibilities for connections. That being said it meant including a piece only once in the set which adds a little more complexity to the manufacturing process, so is a little extra bit of creativity worth adding a one off piece?
  11. The Hospital portion is the standout interior and like they went full throttle with the Bogart cabinet. But Ravenclaw feels underwhelming, but I get why you include a library and a place to store her diadem. I can see this driving up demand for the Snape Boggart becuase it so easily fits in. The connection is cleaner than I expected and now there is a new connection possibility off the back of it. Does that mean a Hospital Wing set or is this just opening up the possibility for creative connections? Also, neat they made two possible connections on the side so you can choose how to line this up yourself.
  12. Just the set numbers and age ratings. They came early, I don't remember set names leaking till after Jan 1 this year.
  13. I'd be surprised if this theme makes it past 2026. We do have a polybag confirmed, which seems odd to have without normal sets but no leaks yet and it is clear these sets don't sell well. KK's Concert going for 60% off right now by Lego itself. I've enjoyed the theme, but clearly the massive audience from the game hasn't jumped over to Lego. Or if it did, it went to other themes.
  14. Personally Dueling Club is a near perfect affordable set for a modular castle line. Under $30 makes a facade set basically impossible, so getting an iconic scene you can modulate the castle with and all prints is solid.
  15. There appears to be a hook piece on the side wall shown that should connect to the Main Tower, so if there is a clip or hook piece on the other side it would mean the Clocktower should be coming or that Lego just wants you to have a lot of freedom where placing each set. Images are supposed to be officially release Dec 1, so a week and a half left
  16. Gringotts is going on 20% sale for Insiders Weekend. Seems to be the only set going on sale so far
  17. Yep, with only Flying Lesson’s small modules being swappable above ground is disappointing.
  18. Super low res image of the Hospital Wing box. Grey Lady has skirt printing. Ron and Harry in their robes but not Hermione. It appears Lupin’s transformation is shown, so maybe a second head piece?
  19. It will likely end the most complete too even if they are not advertising it that way. The issue is that it might not be more complete enough or more detailed enough for someone who already bought an old wave to buy this wave.
  20. I’m pretty happy about the facades and interiors they have done so far, assuming we get a Viaduct entrance with the COS, Myrtle’s Bathroom, Library and Slytherin Common Room. In 3 years they have been pretty comprehensive even if once in a while locations are off. The missing professors is where I more wish this would continue on. I still want Pomfrey, Umbridge, Moody, Trelawney, and a few side professors (Binns, Grubbly-Plank, etc…) but it seems unlikely with maybe 2-3 sets yet to be revealed in a summer 2026 wave
  21. Two facade sets in the summer 2026 wave would be more than enough to connect the entire castle reasonably accurate
  22. I’d expect a new torso print for Lupin and maybe face print similar to Hooch in Flying Lesson. I don’t think they would change the robes on students mid castle wave, so I’m confident those will be the same and the trio will be in those. I could see the Grey Lady getting a new torso print similar to Wood in Flying Lesson but I think they will stick with her DH appearance because the early movies one is a deep cut. Finally, I hope the dementor mold is the same because I think it has held up well.
  23. If the set starts with "Hogwarts Castle:" it is in the main modular line. The others are harder to identify and might not be in perfect scale. A lot of people include the new Hagrid's Hut but it is nearly mini-fig scale, while the castle is nowhere close to mini-fig scale. Using the nano-scale set as a guide, I would add Hagrid's Hut and the Triwizard Arrival set to your list.
  24. I will admit one downside of this wave's design is every major facade set has to include a rock base and so they all start to blend in together a little.
  25. We got a sketch of the Hospital Wing, so leakers have seen it but it must be an exclusive so they can’t drop pictures. It’s what I expected but hope it’s accidentally mirrored otherwise it doesn’t nearly connect to the Main Tower on the Fluffy side
