  1. It’s funny how much people love these GWP figures when all that is new is the torso print. The legs are on PAB and the face and head are super ubiquitous as clones. And because of that Lego had the budget for arm printing on it.
  2. Similar price to piece to the Burrow, so altogether not terrible but not great. I'm leaning now towards it likely won't be set up like Diagon Alley since the narrowness of the street isn't important, but more a few shops laid out with a winter scene in between. That would allow for some large plate pieces that would be indicated with the price to piece ratio.
  3. A lot of Kylo's helmet looks like prints not stickers. The official reveal and first few review will confirm which way.
  4. Average price is around $65, but what is crazy is some store in HK supposedly has 400 of them. Though most sets they carry they have a crazy number of (100 Mos Eisley Cantina or 100 Hogwarts Express D2C sets). Those are the sellers that are the issue. The ones that just sell their GWP and build the set that came with are fine in my opinion.
  5. I expect the Viaduct Entrance (though I don't expect they will use this name as it is too obscure for non-super fans like Main Tower vs Grand Staircase Tower) to be the flagship, but given they didn't include any portion of the bridge in the Main Tower set (at least the sketch doesn't include any) I don't feel like any will be included in the Viaduct Entrance building. That is why I'm hoping they do it as a standalone set. Once official pictures reveal, we should be able to confirm if the Clocktower will reappear as that would require a clip connection on the back of the Main Tower set.
  6. 1 more set, so nothing crazy but The current 10+ sets are The Great Hall, Malfoy Manor, Mandrake, and Triwizard Tournament Arrival (and likely the Main Tower). And it seems nothing on shelves is 12+ (either 10+ or 18+) so that is interesting. Seems to hint at a large playscale set wave and probably a few decent size sets. Really hoping for 3 sets related to the Modular Castle again like this January with 1 facade set and 2 swap-able module sets. Ideally to include the Viaduct Bridge and Divination Class.
  7. It seems highly unlikely the 2018 silhouette won't be achieved. All that remains is the Viaduct Bridge and Viaduct Entrance. The Bridge might be difficult to pull off a fun playset that also is correct, but the Viaduct Entrance clearly will be next year's (if they don't go 4 years) flagship set.
  8. Pretty sure the greenhouse set includes a roof because the sketch has brown lines in the ceiling portion. I think just one place is missing for the trees to poke through
  9. So clearly the challenges will be slide in slide out modules, but I'm wondering if the Gryffindor Common Room & Dorms, Fluffy Encounter, and Dumbledore's Office will be slide out modules. It just seems easy now to release a Chamber of Secrets set with the bathroom sliding into where Fluffy is and the Chamber sliding into the dungeons, but also seems unlikely they release a set like that in the style of Potions/Charms which don't have facade.
  10. You are probably right. They mention Quidditch player and I just assume robes, but if they could tell it was Marcus Flint that is easier for most people to remember from the movies.
  11. Absolutely. You don't have the most portrait filled area of Hogwarts without them, but I wonder how they will do it since clearly they aren't giving you enough for the entire staircase. Maybe 6 (1 more than the Great Hall).
  12. 3 minifigures in Herbology is disappointing especially since Neville seems so popular this year. And that looks like +2 minifigures on the Main Tower vs Great Hall, but really confused on why a Quidditch player for a mini-figure.
  13. Rumors of a build-able Thestral for the Harry Potter line later this year. Wondering if they might choose to reuse the Fell Beast wings. The grey might be too light, but you never know.
  14. Yeah, but that piece count for a build-able creature seems really off. Buckbeak was 723 pices for $60, Expecto Patronum was 754 for $70, Horntail was 671 for $50, and so on. Maybe if they have cloth/paper wings I could see a higher price per piece count.
  15. Is this a legitimate leak? Yesterday being April Fools means you get real leaks mixed in with fake leaks that sound real. But maybe only Star Wars really gets the fake leaks given how that community eats up leaks. It would be in line with last year, the $20 build-able Hedwig (Fawkes this year) and the $60 build-able Buckbeak, but seems odd to be a retail exclusive.
  16. Do people really think Star Wars is dead or is the sarcasm really bad in this forum? 6 of the Top 10 watched shows on Disney+ last year were Star Wars. Lego, the world's largest toy company, has its largest line dedicated to Star Wars. Is the fandom where it used to be, maybe not. But it definitely isn't dead.
  17. I feel like you could still give a selection of all houses and make sense as they are in the staircase similar to the Great Hall. I also agree 2 is the most we will see in more mini-figures than the Great Hall. Some older students would be great to diversify student heights.
  18. It seems unlikely we would get the Room of Requirement for a set themed off the early movies when it wasn't introduced till the 5th movie. I'd put the Room of Requirement in the bucket of locations that will be done similar to Potions and Charms. I'd also put Divination and DADA in that category. 2026 would also be 3 years since the last RoR set released the same time between the first one and that one.
  19. Cut backs in quality would not impact revenues, but costs. And Lego's profit margins actually went down last year, so even if they are cutting back on quality they are spending more per dollar to produce the sets in revenue than they have before. Paying designers and producing the bricks is a lot more expensive than some like to admit here. And Lego also has plenty of affordable licensed and unlicensed themes. And new themes to for younger audiences (Bluey, Animal Crossing, etc..). It is just that Star Wars is moving away from that because the average consumer there is different than it was 10 years ago.
  20. That would make sense, if not a tad early to cause overlap with May the 4th promotions. I am still hoping for a leak or 2 before then. Even just the simple set description leaks like last year.
  21. Hogwarts Express Book Nook is set #76450
  22. In this vein, the last Chamber of Secrets playset retired last year. It might have come out in 2021, but it had a long shelf life and might be why they decided to stay away from that movie this year.
  23. Nick could be in the Tower even if the trio are not. Not counting on it but possible. Either way, I’d bet good money when the set interiors leak a lot of people will be complaining here the interiors are lacking. Similar to the Great Hall and Flying Lesson. So in a $70 standalone they might actually please more people.
  24. Hogwarts Legacy is the most recent version, but the only major difference between that and what you linked is the greenhouses.
  25. The Great Hall doesn't have the external PS design. And the Owlery being detached is also from the later movies. It seems Lego designers believe the later movies castle silhouette is more iconic, but the interiors are better from the earlier movies (and I agree with them).
