I have only now found out about this site somehow and it really has a certain charm to it, I think this is not something that has been made obsolete by videos since it is nearly impossible to organize all this information in a neat way, it would be sad to see such a great resource go, I agree with the earlier replies that suggested making this a community project, it would be nice to see more content added about newer sets, perhaps you could open this up in a way to allow articles to be submitted by members of the community. whatever you do I support your decision but it would be sad to see it go.

hello everyone, I have good news : the model has been tested and confirmed to work, here are some pictures, the new instructions are finished and will be released in the next week. only the code and pneumatic are left before i can release it ( tiny problem : the phone I used died recently and I switched back to a older model to limit distraction but that means i can't install control+, but code should be relatively simple)

Hi everyone, I’m excited to share my latest project: a 1:21 scale Liebherr L556 Wheel Loader. This model was designed 100% in Stud.io with an "engineering-first" mindset. While it is currently a digital prototype, it has been built with the same structural "overkill" I use for my physical builds—utilizing heavy-duty Technic frames and reinforcements to ensure zero sag. Technical Specifications: Scale: 1:21 (matches my previous Technic MOCs) Drivetrain: 1x XL Motor, 2-speed gearbox, and planetary wheel hubs for maximum torque. Functions: 4 Motors total. The XL drive motor also powers the onboard pump. (with manyal 2 speed gearbox) 2 additional motors actuate the pneumatic valves for the lift and tilt functions. the last motor is responsible for the steering The Challenge: As I am currently finished with the design, this model is not yet real life verified. I am looking for a dedicated builder to Test this MOC. What I provide: High-quality Stud.io generated instructions + .io file A feature/shout-out on my YouTube channel with photos/video of your build. Free access to any 3 of my other MOC instructions. What you provide: Hose Routing: You will need to determine the optimal pneumatic hose paths (not currently in the instructions). Verification: Confirming the mechanical clearances + working functions Media: Photos of the completed build. If you're capable of high-quality video, I’d love to feature it on my YouTube channel. Coding: Ideally, someone comfortable with the Powered Up environment to help refine the control logic. This L556 is part of a larger 1:21 scale machinery series I’m working on. I have several other heavy-duty MOCs currently in the design phase—including scania logging truck and a container handler. If you want to be the first to bring this digital design to life and have a passion for (Liebherr) machinery, please shoot me a PM or reply below!

agree, there is some backlash, but since there is no way to replicate the hydraulic cylinders in this scale this is the closes way to get it to the real mechanism, also the weight of the arm makes the backlash a lot less noticeable unless you pick it up by the arm. (see the real mechanism here : https://youtu.be/0nj783tdL7U?t=7 ) also the skidsteer will tip over well before the red 2l axle experiences too much stress, also a overlap of multiple pins is not possible here since the arm needs to go around the cabin.

skidsteer and tracked dumper Earthmoving Duo Functions: The tracked dumper: fake engine driven by the tracks it can dump and rotate the bed (up to 90° each side) it has a hood for the fake engine it has a 2 speed gearbox (controlled by a lever in the cabin) The tracked skidsteer: it has a mini fake engine driven by the tracks it can lift the arm it can dump the bucket it can swap between a bucket and forks

that's true, ill use the AB thumbnail testing on YouTube to see which is the best. happy to get some actual opinions because raw data helps less than actual opinions
