Well you could be ninjas in the dayight, but the flower would be all closed and useless so there'd be no point in being daylight-ninjas. Also, I'm pretty sure you have to state that you're going to wait for daybreak/nightfall before time passes.
-
Remember the flower only blooms at night, so "getting all ninja-y" now wouldn't do you any good, but might get you into a load of trouble.

Arasmyth quietly lets out a sigh of relief that he had been cosen and the barbarian - what was his name again? Ulph? - hadn't. He had only met Althior and Arthur formally before, but had seen the Grumpkin in passing. He was sure he would get acquainted with the others soon enough. Althior was Party Leader. Arasmyth felt good with that decision, as Althior was the only one of these heroes whom he had actually Quested with before. He was a bit odd, and lovestruck with Alexis, but could be depended upon in combat. Arasmyth claps Arthur on the back. "We got in, eh, boy? Stick with me, I'll show you the ropes."
-
Arasmyth returns to the hall from his inn, avoiding the annoying barbarian. He was very frustrating to deal with, but Arasmyth had to admit he was an OK fighter. He sat in eager anticipation of the announcement of the heroes selected for Quest 17.
-
I don't really care, it was just for fun. We can do whatever.
-
I thought Flipz was rolling? If I misunderstood that, congrats and I'll post in the Hall, if not, we'll wait for Flipz.

"Cast Wind, back row." OOC: Actually, I can take a hit from the back row, then it only takes two of my hits (or a Great Spell) to KO you. So we're pretty evenly matched.
-
OOC: You're killing me, Bricks. IC: *facepalm* "Idiot." Arasmyth says, then gives an exasperated sigh and dramatically drops to the ground. "We're just not supposed to fight each other, but if you wish to continue, so be it."
-
*cough*"idiot"*cough*. "Fighting between heroes is frowned upon in the Hall, fool, or I would crush you here and now." Arasmyth says, levitating on a gust of air, sneering down at Alf.
-
Arasmyth uses wind magic to slow his fall so he lands on his feet at the cost of one ether. (OOC:  )
-
Without looking up at the barbarian, Arasmyht calls out, "You would know about that, wouldn't you? After all, you leapt off of them once. Sadly, I think I'll pass on the delightful experience." (OOC: )
-
Arasmyth completely ignores Alf and continues drinking his ale. Evidently he doesn't wish to fight the annoying barbarian.
-
OOC: Arasmyth grumbles something obscene under his breath, then hails Scheherezade and orders another mug of ale.
-
OOC: You asked for it, here it comes! "Yes! Don't stop there! Freeze him! No, what are you doing? Don't give him the staff back! To the victor go the spoils, remember? Idiot, you'll never be a proper mage with that attitude!" Arasmyth shouts, revealing a slightly more violent and excitable side of himself he preferred to keep hidden beneath his elven grace and manners.
-
Arasmyth blinked slowly, seeming to be taken aback. "Really? That must be why the Hinckwells are posting Quest 17, to support the Knights. I'm personally a Hinckwell supporter, myself, and hope I can continue to work with them. I'm signed up for Quest 17, I do hope to get on. The heroes for the Quest shall be picked tomorrow, I hear. Are you signed up for that Quest? Seems like a way you could help right the wrongs caused by the Shadeaux... I'm not implying it was your fault, no, not at all, but it seems like something one might do to help take the weight off their shoulders. I would, at least, if I were in your situation."
-
"You're speaking of the skirmishes between the Brobric Elves and those red wearing knights who came to Uland just recently? I've heard that those "knights" assassinated the leader of the elves." He spat on the floor. "Despicable, if you ask me. No knight would resort to underhanded trickery like that, true knights are chivalrous and brave. If you're worried, don't be. I'm sure my kinfolk will crush this invasion before it even deserves to be called a full on war."
-
The Grumpkin had altered his whining to William, and the two were now fighting. He shook his head, muttering something about over-eager idiots and unnecessary violence. He turned to the shade in a corner of the hall. "You're De'kra, I assume? Nice to meet you, I'm Arasmyth. So who do you believe shall win these brawls?"
-
Arasmyth watched the young mage get up and begin a practice fight with that annoying barbarian he had met in passing once before. He looks at the Grumpkin whining to Artramor about his chicken in surprise. It was rare to see Grumpkins above ground nowadays. He finished his drink and settled in to watch, he had nothing better to do until the heroes who were selected for Quest #17 were selected. He crossed his fingers under the table, not wanting others to see him acting superstitous, then called out to Arthur, "Freeze the man solid, boy! Use that staff for something other than tripping people!"
-
Looks to me like Constrictai or Hypnobrai.
-
"I am signed up for both those Quests as well," Arasmyth says, then, softening a little, "Should we be selected to Quest together I suppose I could help you learn the nuances of our trade."
-
Arasmyth snorted at the clumsy mage, who was now reading a Library book. "Quest 4 ended only a short time ago. All those heroes will still be around the hall unless they're already on other Quests. So it would be logical to assume the Shade you saw was indeed De'kra, however I believe the mage you spoke of was selected for a Quest around the time I returned from the Hinckwell forests."
-
Arasmyth glanced up and saw his former Questmate, Althior, flirting with a young member of his race. No more than a child, really. From what he could tell from the girl's face, the feeling seemed to be mutual. He frowned slightly, but didn't say anything. In his opinion, elves shouldn't get into relationships with shorter lived species until at least their first century or so, when they've had time to contemplate their lives and decide whether such a relationship was worth the heartbreak of outliving your beloved for possibly hundreds of years. The youngling had summoned a large thunderbird, or roc, as they're known in his lands. She was showing magnificent potential in magic, it would be a shame if she became to depressed to work spells or, Ethereth forbid, be driven to suicide, by the foolish human mage. He turned and began to walk away when he tripped on a large, golden object. ( ) He turned to see a newcomer to the hall, another human mage holding an unwieldy staff with an Opal tied to the top. Crossly, he reprimanded the man: "Pay attention, boy, you might kill something with that thing." He snorted at the man, then sat down and ordered a drink at the bar. OOC: No offense to any of you, just staying in character. Arasmyth has very particular views on how other elves should behave, and was taking out his frustrations with Alexis on Arthur.
-
*cough* Ahem... I think Arasmyth might take a fancy to Nerwen or Erdathcath if he were to meet them. A fine (relatively) young elf like himself needs a companion! On a more serious note, I'm back from my short hiatus and will be active in the game again.

Arasmyth scratches his chin beneath his beard, staring at the Questboard. Something under the Quest titled Let's Start a Riot caught his eye. No reward? he thought. Hmmm. Might not be worth my time. He then scratched his name off the list for Quest #19: Let's Start a Riot. OOC: Visiting my dad this weekend, he's sick w/ cancer. Be back night of the 5th, so I'm hoping luck and my Hinckwell reputations will get me onto Quest 17, as 18 requests players Level 10+. Fingers crossed!

I thought it was Nya and Jay, not Zane?
