Arasmyth hopes to follow up on his previous success, once again targeting Mutant Frog A with a physical attack from the front row.

somebody should totally write a novel about Cronk. He's very awesome.

"But I don't like Althior..." "I suppose you are correct, Namyrra, and we should also take Althior's idea into consideration. However, a Magic Compass is enchanted to point in the direction of our objective no matter what, so if it is currently confused, I can think of only three possible reasons, though feel free to correct me if I'm wrong: 1): There is some sort of magical interference in the area, 2): Our quarry has split into two smaller groups, one down each path, or 3): Either path will lead us to our goal with equal difficulty."

"Perhaps now would be the ideal time to break our party into two smaller groups? Namyrra, the rogue and I could go left while you, the esteemed party leader, take Althior and the house-elf right."

OOC: Too bad there aren't any undead around to smack you. IC: Arasmyth goes over to the unconscious, drenched bandit and searches him for anything useful he might have on him. He then slaps him repeatedly in an attempt to wake him up.

OOC: I thought mages started with 5 HP and rogues with 7? Or am I just horribly confused?

OOC: All the characters still need their HP to increase by one, and I think Bob did a normal attack as well, so he should have full Ether also, but the rest is fixed. IC: "Thank you very much for the gold, Skrall." Arasmyth says as he tucks it into his coin pouch.

OOC: When we level up, Power, Health, and Ether increase by 1 point each, so my Power should be 5, my Health and Ether 6. Plus, I didn't use magic, so my Ether should be 6/6 right now.

OOC: Didn't Grogan come with us? Or is he waiting outside?

"I agree! Take care not to kill him, so we can interrogate him as to the whereabouts of our foes and other information he might be capable of supplying us with!"

Arasmyth knows that the bandit could defeat him in one hit, so he attacks with his staff from the back row.

I still don't know what gave him that idea. Did I miss something in the job description saying that there would be lots of knives lying around?

Throwing knives? What makes you think we'll be finding throwing knives?

Arasmyth inspects the area around the campfire to see if anything of interest is there. "If anyone with a shovel or magnifying glass would like to do a more thorough search, then we should, but apart from that I believe it would be in our best interest to continue following the prints in the hopes of catching up with the intruders. What say you, Skrall?"

OOC: You could say something along the lines of "The compass needle spins around for a bit, then points into the forest", but I think the compass itself should be reacting, not Althior.

"Well, as I've previously stated, I believe traversing the forest to be our best course of action, but since you two have both Quested before, I'll follow your judgement on this, Party Leader."

Arasmyth arrives in the forest just behind Grogan and listened to his explanation. "I'm certainly not a Ranger, but it is my opinion that we should traverse the forest in order to hopefully discover and defeat various fauna that aren't game animals for experience and loot and any additional compensation Grogan chooses to bestow upon us."

Tch, everyone knows mages are the best!

Arasmyth stood up with a pleased expression on his face. "Ah-ha!" he exclaimed. "I knew I would get chosen for a Quest! My skills are far too wonderful for any client to pass up!" He strode across the Hall to Grogan, and waited for the other 5 Questers to show up.

Ditto. Arasmyth is solely an Aeromancer, so I want to get 1 more Sapphire to imbue within his Crystalline Staff and then 1 Topaz (Lightning) because it fits in with the wind/air/weather theme quite well, and then I'll be able to damage foes who aren't affected by Wind. I've got some awesome loot planned for my Quest, but it won't be right in the main path. The party will have to go out of their way to get it, and there might be some pretty tough minibosses guarding the stuff...
