A small build for a 16x16 contest by lowlug. The Shipwreck, once the sailor's pride, now an oasis for the sea dwellers:

BBcode for images broken? Displays only code and no images.
KlaasK replied to Kalais's topic in Forum Information and Help
In flickr, you can also just use the share function instead of the BBcode. This also works all at once, without having to remove anything. And your photo will be clickable too then, so that's settled too. -

[WINNERS] Eurobricks Alt-Build Contest 2025

Lego building ;) And yours?

Earlier this week I built a sort of medieval ring stitch tableau, but I thought: it should also be possible as it is still held today. On unsaddled farm horses, the rider tries to stab through the ring with a short lance. The ring gets smaller after each round. Whoever stabs the most rings is the winner. It is a fun Zeeland tradition that people love to come and watch. Nice news: in our town of Tholen in Zeeland, ring stabbing is being organised again this year for the King's Day celebrations, after it was stopped in the years around the corona epidemic.

Well done! And very nice round building technic!

Thanks! But I'm happy I'm just the math teacher. Students playing with fire... not my cup of tea... Thanks! The logo took more time than the classrooms... Thanks! In the Netherlands this was the building style around 1930 for a village school.

It's such a cute, beautiful pick-up truck!

Great work! Nice star on the floor, beautiful statues. It's a pity you ran out of time!

Two Wolfpack knights stole a horse from a meadow. But they do not have much experience riding a horse without a saddle. Therefore, they have hung two rings on a tree, through which they want to stab with the lance. Could they be the inventors of the Zeeland* tradition of ring stabbing? Races are still held there where unsaddled horses riders have to stab through a ring with a short lance. The ring gets smaller each subsequent round, and whoever is the last to stab the ring is the winner. An entry for a seed part challenge from Classic Castle *Zeeland: A province in the Netherlands where I am also a resident. :)

Great building! Well done. Small idea for improvement: add some more bikes ;) Dutch cities are overloaded with bikes

Great work! I love the real Persian window shapes

[MOC] Precious stones for elven friends

Great MOC! I like the grey-purple-yellow color combination -
Thanks! Time is the biggest enemy of Lego contests ;) Thanks! The tooth piece on the shield was not the easiest part. With the smallest vibration it fell down... Thanks!

For a Lowlug competition, my homelug, I built a secondary school. The assignment was to build something on this size ground plane. The school fits in nicely this way :) All classrooms are furnished:

I like it! Small builds can be colossal! ;)

Long time since I was here. Unfortunately, I can't follow all Lego fora and all Lego sources ;) Partly, of course, this is also because I want to have time to build. This year, I built entries for all six CCC categories. The first and biggest, a colossal castle: Westpoint Castle by Klaas de Wit, on Flickr Second, Natural Phenomenon Vignette: Snowfighter by Klaas de Wit, on Flickr Third, a studly build, without any tiles or curved slopes: Monastry by Klaas de Wit, on Flickr The fourth, a crafty creature, Reepicheep from C.S. Lewis "Narnia": Reepicheep 2 by Klaas de Wit, on Flickr Fifth, Redfeather the Merryman, for "crazy carnival": Crazy Carnival by Klaas de Wit, on Flickr And the last one, very hard for me to build, for I'm very peace-loving ;) , a battle scene: The battle on/for/with the Red Bridge by Klaas de Wit, on Flickr Hope you enjoy it. Feel free to comment ;)

A sangaku is a picture used to represent a mathematical theorem. The idea is that you only get a picture and then formulate your own conjecture to it, which you can then prove. Which famous theorem will this be anyway? Click on the spoiler for some mathematical explanation, if you wish ;)

Microscale is quite a bit outside my comfort zone, but I made something anyway, a container ship: Volumentransport im Mikroformat by Klaas de Wit, on Flickr It's an entry for Rogue Olympics 2024. Hope you enjoy it! I couldn't find a special place for microbuilds, so I think this is the right place?

This time no medieval MOC, but a small build about "Sugersweet" of "Zuckersüß". It's a small build for Rogue Olympics, a funny contest of RogueBricks Geteilte Süße ist doppelte Süße by Klaas de Wit, on Flickr

The castle itself is in quite a sleek style, I think that's because the walls are made entirely of the same colour. The fact that it can be opened all the way is really great, as are the many details on the inside. Especially the throne room, with the minifigs in it, is really nice!
