  1. "Dammit, Guts, can we go anywhere without you making someone try to kill us? Ah well, taste lightning, bastards! I'll take Borthos, from the front row, with my knife!"
  2. Let me reword that a bit: I assume that at least one of the C-triumverate (that sounds really dirty now that I think about it ) knew/knows who the Protector is, and all of you knew who they were protecting. If this is so, you could direct yourself, your scummy buddies, or the SK to kill Master Corobb when he wasn't protected.
  3. "Damn Z-mail dating.... Say, didn't that guy look a bit like Dozenhands, the wanted burglar? Ah, what the hell, let's let some other poor bastard try to catch him, we've got enough to do. Grove of the Forgotten sounds good to me too." Dak nervously strokes the handle of his knife. Feeling the crackling lightning energy against his palm is comforting, in a way.
  4. As I said in the statement you quoted, no suspects but the ones listed yesterday. See above statement. As to your first statement, I had to go to bed, it was late had a daily meditating session to attend to and had to leave for a while, so I figured I had better say something beforehand. Why is it odd? I had no suspects except the ones laid out yesterday before the investigation result came up, those being Monn and Ili. Here's the simple answer: Roron is a Town, and he was bringing the Town together. He also didn't fully trust you, and, since you were in the Circle of the Three C's, you knew that he wasn't the one being protected (I assume that you three know who the protector is). This is assuming you are a Scum, of course, or were converted to the Scum Night One. Yes, you did, to the point of only showing the parts of my statements that were, quote, "scummy", when other parts explained them perfectly. If so, then who's saying Master Windu wasn't actually telling the truth? It would be an incredibly clever ploy if 3P0 really was the Godfather and Windu went to that amount of trouble to keep him safe, putting himself on the chopping block to do it. So it's WIFOM. What's that tell us? That you are trying to confuse us, and that's a Scum ploy. So yes, it does "matter".
  5. Well, what else was I supposed to say before anyone else spoke up? There's not much to go on at this point except for stuff from yesterday, and since no one really defended Ssiht, there's no suspects except for the ones named yesterday. Well, if you want it that way, fine, we'll have a scumhunt. I just don't see anyone at this point that looks overtly scummy.
  6. Snap! Two Town for one Scum isn't a good ratio! We really need to up our game if we're gonna get the remaining Scum. Hopefully there aren't many left, but we can't be sure. Guess we wait for another investigation result, but in the meantime, there's not much to do.
  7. "I say we visit the Fountain first, it's in the center of the park and we can get to any of the other locations from it. It's also right on the entry path, thus it will be a place that the Count will no doubt visit."
  8. "This could be...more difficult than I expected. I think we should go to Triad Park before sunset, to famialarize ourselves with the area we will be using to get the Count to drink the potion."
  9. Urgh. Not at all what I was expecting, this one's getting customized for sure. My main complaint is the color choices; to me, Spiderman should have those colors reversed, with red on the outer torso and arms and blue on the inner. Blue legs would look fine on that, IMO. This one just looks...wierd. I haven't watched the new cartoon yet, so maybe this is accurate, but to me it's just not Spiderman.
  10. Oh, OK. See, even I forget stuff when I don't put it in my sig.
  11. OOC: Stats look good, except I bought a WP:5 Throwing Knife from Atramor back at the hall and have 6 Gold left. Yes, that picture is the most recent one, and I'm still trying to get my camera to work well enough to replace it. I'm not sure how it got out of my sig, I swore I didn't delete the image when I was making my sig fit the signature guidelines. IC: Dak looked around, quite impressed with the lab, but mostly with the Mithril sitting on top of one of the contraptions. He nods towards Guts as the older man speaks, then speaks himself in quieter tones. "This Count Shadeaux...what sort of place does he live in, and how heavily guarded is it? Depending on the competency of the guards, we shouldn't have much trouble slipping in."
  12. Actually, Dex are worth about 1.3 spd (depending on how much spd is worth against def to you-3:1 means that dex is worth the same as spd, and 4:1 spd:def means that dex is worth about 1.5 spd), so you could have sold them for att or wis at the same rates.
  13. I'll buy them if you're willing to sell to Guild members. What were you looking to sell them for, gear or other pots?
  14. No no no, you have it all wrong! My name has a space, not an underscore!
  15. ...I don't think there's anything more to be said, except yay, investigation result at last! This is our second mostly-confirmed Scum lynch, so let's make it good. We've been really, really lucky thus far, let's hope that luck continues! So, in deference to the investigation result, I will Vote: Hugar Ssiht (badboytje88)
  16. I have a question about the Greatsword: If you were to switch weapons after attacking with it, would you still be Slowed? For an example: Hero A targets Monster 1 with the Greatsword of the Lion Nobles Turn 2, Hero A switches weapons to Broadsword and attacks Monster 1 again. Is this possible, or would the Slowed effect transmit over to the other weapon for another Turn? (i.e. the Hero would still be Slowed for a Turn after switching weapons.)
  17. Archer, and I lost a VBow, DHide, and Sup HP. Back to Necro now, with a Master/ETap/Arcana equipped.
  18. Nooooo! I lost all the stuff that Skipper gave me, which was worth about a def, when I backed into a godlands mob after being Sickened by a Kage Kami!
  19. Perhaps. I still do think that it's a viable suspicion, she hasn't been very helpful at all, and that comment just was really scummy to me. I suppose you're right, but if it was the SK, why pick Koth? Maybe he came off as scummy to them. No, I was just saying that it's another possible lynch candidate, and I never said that Monn is my main suspect; only that he was everyone else's. Yes, it is possible, but both of them have been consistently pro-town throughout the past Day (as well as through the short amount of time this one has been up), which I can hardly say for you. For example take the fact that in one post, you both agree with and partially accuse Corobb. Also, I never said I was certain that the Sith call their Godfather Lord, I only said that you would only be able to know for sure if you were a Sith.
  20. Still, it is something to consider. We still don't have a hard-tacks Night Action result from any of our Power Roles, so that means that our best suspect is Master Monn, as a result of his strange speech and filler words. I guess we will see how things play out as the Day progresses.
  21. Wow, I actually can't believe Mace was actually Scum. I thought for sure that he was a Town, or a Neutral, whose role required them to be lynched. Ah well, that's one Scum under the bus! Eeth's death was unorthodox (I mean, it would have made more sense to kill someone that was more active, like Coryn or Master Corobb, wouldn't it have? Maybe the Scum thought they would have protection, I guess I don't know.), but I think as well that it a Scum for a Town is actually an okay ratio. Master Koth will be missed, but if we can prevent his killer from killing any more, I think that his death will have not been in vain. Also, I have a new suspect to bring to the table: Bariss Offee (Scorpiox). My resoning? When Mace was accusing C-3P0 of being the Godfather, she kept saying "Why would a Sith out his Lord?". How did she know that that was what the Godfather was called? Care to explain yourself, Padawan Offee?
  22. "Nice to meet you....sort of. "No, I've heard enough of your twisted views for a lifetime, I should think." "Eh, I take it a bit more lightly now. This is more of a side job to get powerful enough to destroy those who have hurt me," Dak says, eyes glittering blood-red. "They'll pay for what they've done, even if I don't make them. I plan to, though."
  23. "Hey, I got my revenge. That has to count for something." "I'm not even sure that's anatomically possible. By the way, nice to meet you, Rone." Dak extended a pale hand to shake. "Yeah, Dak. You should know, old man, you've been on two Quests with me. Or is your memory failing in your old age? For the record, I'm coming too, but Guts here doesn't seem to think so."
  24. "Trust me, I haven't had much luck with 'em either. If they'd liked me, my mother wouldn't have died. Are you sure that's a good idea? I don't think Scheherazade overlooks anything in this bar. How else would she get all that gossip?"
