Playing Knight now. Don't see what all the fuss is, Knight is basically a tank. The huge DEF adds to that a lot. Then again, I've got Mithril Chainmail + Ring of Greater Health + Golden Sword slapped on it at Lvl 3, so that might be affecting my views a bit. Not quite as good as my +20 HP Warrior with 27 DEF, but still, pretty good.

Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Day Two

Yes, it was. Maybe you can't recognize sarcasm, so here's a sign to help you: You're extremely scummy, and you supporting my case makes it look like we're Scum teammates. -
"'Kay," says Dak, handing over the gold and taking the Shiv. "Thanks." Dak then walks over to the Questboard and signs up for Quest #31 as well.

Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Day Two
Darth Nihilus replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wow, that's really helping my case. And apparently Cindy has her brain addled. Changing the White Rabbit's name on the list would do nothing to reveal the Doctor. Yes, I know who the Doctor is, but, can you explain this? If-and that's an if-I was Scum, which I'm not, who would be the logical choice to die? Oh, I know. The Doctor! First off, Mr. Bear was already going to kill a Townie, which, if I was Scum, I would have known. Plus, he was going to be protected by the Doctor, which I also knew. Killing the Doctor and then redirecting Mr. Bear myself to kill another Good would make the most sense, correct? Mr. Bear would lose his protection the next night, efficiently killing, hmmm, let's see, two more Good Guys, including the Doctor and the Vigilante. That would be the smartest move for a Scum. But-wait, here's the good part-EXPLAIN, with your twisted logic, why I didn't do that? The Bad Guys need to outnumber the Good Guys to win, right? So, two more Townies dead would mean that that's two less Townies for them to worry about killing and/or framing so they get lynched. Plus, I don't exactly trust Mushu, only to a certain extent, because, for one, I blocked him last night, and as far as I can see, no Scum night action was blocked, except for perhaps the Scum Doctor/Rolecop. So, our options are literally at this point that Mushu is either a vanilla Good Guy, the Good Guy Investigator, or the Scum Doctor/Rolecop. So, that would be two out of 11 options turn up Scum. Not a great ratio, but enough that I think that I'm willing to trust him....to an extent. Not with sensitive info, like the identity of the Doctor, but enough to think that it's possible he's Town. Yes, I do know who James Bond is, but yet, it would not be incredibly stupid for Cindy to lie about it. James Bond could be the Scum Doctor, for all we know. It would actually be an extremely clever move, come to think of it. Claim Town Doctor, and actually be Scum Doctor instead. Thus, the Town trusts you, and you can actually prove that you are, in fact, a Doctor. That would be exactly what I would expect from the Bad Guy team, especially if Cindy is on it. -
Dak finds the notice, and walks over to Atramor. "I'll buy the Shiv, if it's still for sale," he says, simply and to the point.

Because he changed the list. Not me; him. I never change phrases in PMs or quotes. If I did, it would be something more obvious, probably more like changing it to "Hey look! I'm scum!" in all caps. Not changing names on a suspect list. That just doesn't make any sense to me. Why change one name? What is there to gain from that? No matter how hard I try, I can't figure out the logic behind that. -

Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Day Two
Darth Nihilus replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Point one: I never said that! I said, after the Night cycle had ended and we all found out Pinocchio's allegiance, that Pinocchio was on a list of people that had either been confirmed via death or trusted to an extent by me. Point two: That might have been a logical move on Cindy's part, but still, combined with spearheading the lynch against another Townie, you have to admit she is suspicious. Point three: Yes, I recognize the connection between her and the Doctor, but whether we believe her or not is based on the factor which is in question here: trust. Do we trust her enough to believe that she really is in contact with the Doctor, but won't reveal their identity to us when she revealed mine? The situation is basically just a matter of who you trust more: her or me. One of us is the leak, and it damn well isn't me. She probably says the same. So, that means that who's getting lynched depends on which of us you, the Town, trust more. Plus, a few different things factor in. Scum will, of course, vote for the Town one of us. Town will probably spread their votes based on trust. So, assuming that one of us is actually Scum, and assuming a 50/50 Town vote spread, the one that gets lynched will be the Town one. Unfortunately, neither of those situations are 100% likely. We could both be Town, or (I'm going to let you decide on this one) we could both be Scum accusing each other to cover our own trails. Point four: Again, this extends the trust issue. How do we know the Doctor really protected Bear? All we have to go on is Cindy's word. Without a Tracker, there's no way of knowing who the Doctor targetted last night. Final point: Fine, if you really want me to do the obvious thing and vote for my accuser and/or the one I'm accusing, I'll simply Vote: Cinderella (Flipz). Good enough for you? -
Floods of Heroes streamed back into the Hall like rapids, and Dak looked up from his drink, his gaze flashing in surprise before the wave barely missed him, all clanking armor and shields and blades and cloaks. Dak was practically thrown out of his seat in surprise, and barely recovered fast enough, pulling his cloak tight about him. Looking around, he saw De'kra conversing with a Mage he vaguely remembered from the last time he had been in the Hall, as well as several Rogues and Clerics, including a Witch with dreadlocks and a chicken on his shoulder. Over there was another Mage he vaguely remembered, the one with the butler, hugging a female Elf and sitting down with her. This one was wearing white, with a broad-brimmed black hat covering his head. The last time he had seen him, the Mage had had long, shoulder-lenght hair, and Dak wondered how he concealed it all beneath the hat. Dak strode over and beat the crap out of the unsuspecting Sage and Witch continued watching the new people in the Hall until he finally found someone somewhat able to be conversed with, an Orc who looked suprisingly like the Incredible Hulk speaking to a fire Battle Mage. Dak approached somewhat loudly, so as to make sure he didn't suprise the two and get himself chopped up and/or burnt to death. "Hello, fellow Heroes!" he spoke, reverting back to his formal accent, a pained expression flashing across his face momentarily as he reverted back to the crisp, clean syllables."I don't believe I have met either of you before. I'm Dak, by the way. Dak Shadeaux, at your service." He bowed quickly, a stiff, formal movement, while he waited for either to reply.

Thank you for finally bringing the truth out. Now I can finally defend myself in public, instead of to you in private, which is way more pressuring because apparently, you think you're the whole town. Look at the end of that one PM you sent me: Might I use one of your favorite phrase in the case against Pinocchio: Freudian slip? Also, the leak. Point one: You set the town against Pinocchio because of an allegiance-claim, which might I add you did not an hour previously, and the main thing: a color change. Not scummy behavior, noooo, a color change in the allegiance claim. Plus, who told Bear in the first place to target BBW? You, in the group PM between me, you, and him. Then, you state that the Doctor was blocked. I'm beginning to think that you don't even know who the Doctor is after all. You're just getting the Power Roles together and killing them off one by one. First the most important, the Vigilante. Then, accuse the Blocker of his death, thus eliminating two of the Power Roles successfully. Anything to answer, Cindyrella? -
I'm getting back on today, might try for some more god-slaying after Lvl 15 gets hit. Maybe not. We'll see, I guess. BTW, anyone need stuff for Rogue or Assassin? I've got Stingray Poison and a grey Cloak if anyone wants them. EDIT: +20 HP roll and +7 MP roll at Lvl 11 on my new Warrior.

OoC: Sorry it's been so long since the last part of Dak's trip to the alleyway. IC: Dak stepped down the alleyway, looking left and right, knife at the ready. He continues, when a lightning-fast motion in the corner of his eye registers in his braind. Dak whips around, only to see dark, cloaked figures emerging from the shadows in a circle around him. One steps forward, a short sword-No, thinks Dak. Not a sword. A dirk. He recalls these long daggers from training sessions back at home. And that's as far as his memory goes. No more, nothing except for training with a sparring partner lost to the vast emptyness of his memory. The cloaked onlookers backed away, leaving the one holding the dirk to step forward. Two shields were tossed from the crowd, and one landed at Dak's feet. His opponent gestured for the boy to pick it up, so Dak did. Several other cloaked figures relieved Dak of all his weapons but the ones he had come to Heroica with; his longswords. Dak pulled one out of its sheath on his back, making a hissing noise as the blade scraped against the hardened leather of its resting place. Dak sliced air with the sword, nodding at the swift, sharp sound it made when it hit a target, in this case the cobblestones. He then holds the sword in a defensive position, ready for a fight. The opponent came quicker than Dak expected, and the small blade sliced upward, across his right eyebrow. Sharp pain struck him like a blow, but he struggled through it and wildly attacked his assailant. Before he knew it, both the sword and the shield were whipped out of his hand, and the dirk was held at his throat. "He....isss not yyyet readyyyy...." came the voice from behind the hood. The figure whipped around, and a long, sharp finger pointed at another figure. "Yyyou sssaid he would be readyyyy!" Another voice came from the shouted-at figure. "S-s-so s-s-sorry, M-m-master! I-I did not think - I though he was ready!" "He is not. You will be punished. Come," and with that all the figures, as well as Dak's consiousness, faded into the darkness. Dak awoke in the familiar seat of the table he had been sitting at all the day before. He reached up to his brow, and noted a scar forming on his right eyebrow. Seeing something new posted on the Questboard, he signed up for Quest #30: Ambassadors of Dastan as well.

Ouch. I (so far) have only died 3 times: One suicide with Wizzie to get into the Guild, one death straight-out with Wizzie at Lvl. 15, and one Lvl. 20 Priest at 40 Fame. That puts me at 77 Fame, not the greatest amount, but still decent. Now levelling my Archer as high as I can get him with the epic stuff I got for Archer while I was Priest. Also, my godkill tally is getting higher: A Construct, a Pentaract, two Oasis Giants (Not sure if these count), two Ghost Kings, Mixcoatl the Masked God, 3 Medusa (Not sure if these count either), and a Leviathan.

Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Day Two
Darth Nihilus replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Okay then. Glad that's cleared up. By the way, since when was Rapunzel male? But yes, she does seem extremely suspicious, if only because she seems to take way too many pages out of Scum's books in other games she has been acting similar to Scum in books I've read and movies I've watched about these types of situations. But, then again, she may just not be very experienced in situations like these and simply be making mistakes, albeit a lot of them. Definitely one to keep an eye on, but still not quite a 100% positive Scum. Although, lynches are hardly ever a 100% scum lynch. Unless there is an Investigator involved, of course. -

Read Listen to my previous statement, please. Thank you. I don't speak much because many times, people beat me to the punch on accusations and/or evidence. If you want me to talk more, then I will. Just give me some evidence to talk about. And that is a very good list, thank you for that oh so much. I do agree, though; not giving concrete reason for voting is too common an issue to make an accusation merely based on that. Using confusion tactics, not making points of your own, and being unhelpful combined with not making valid points for voting, or in other words being a sheep, are a scumtell. What we really need is for everyone to be helpful to the best of their ability, like Cindy, WW, you, and me, are, and Mr. Bear was, and then we would be able to root out the scum no problem. Of course, that' probably not going to happen. -

Alright, your defense is sound. Thank you. Sorry for your trouble. Although, one thing confounds me: You said anything other than what I replied to? I combed the other day thread wracked my memory, and I couldn't find any other posts by you statements of yours other than those I quoted talked about. Also, will you please elaborate on those accusations? It is hard to defend yourself when your accuser isn't clear about why they're accusing you, you know. The reason for seeing Puss as possible Scum: I was reading the old day thread going through the old Day in my memories, and he seemed a little suspicious. Others do as well, but those have been mentioned already. I could make a case against Cinderella or Snow White, but others have made a lot of the points I would in the case that I did make an accusation against either. Same goes for Rapunzel and White Rabbit, although a lot of those points were made in the other Day thread yesterday. I wasn't trying to set a bandwagon against you; a bandwagon is the last thing we need here. i was simply bringing up another suspect, in this case you. I meant no harm, I was only trying to catch a Scum. No need to take quite so much offense at it. -
Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Day Two
Darth Nihilus replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Okay, going back through the other day thread my memories, although Cindy and Snow spearheaded the lynch against Pinocchio, one other person came up scummy to me far too many times. That person is our very own Puss in Boots (Dakar A). My reasoning, along with the specific statements, follows. Here, he is unhelpful except to accuse someone based on their personality and (in this case) the color of their skin, then goes on to say that this is perhaps not a good idea. No help from him here. Here, he accuses Cindy for reasons previously stated by others. Again, not much help. And here he's just plain dumb. Not helpful at all, just a confusion tactic. Again, quite a confusion tactic. Simply accusing an (admittedly sheepish) inactive person. Nothing helpful. Still, nothing helpful but pointing out an inactive person. Well, here we see something a little useful, if only to help another person with the different rooms of the castle. Yep. Nothing useful except to say he'll be gon. Still nothing useful. You know, this is getting boring. And again. I realize you aren't very experienced, but this is getting ridiculous! Pointing out an inactive person again, as well as confusing a lot of people. Still, nothing useful. Asking for motive. Something useful at last, if presented in all the wrong ways. Here, the big scumtell: Tries to get Mr. Bear lynched. Although I, admittedly, am a bit guilty of this myself, still, just the way it is presented screams Scum to me. Smart move here....not. Again, wonderfully stupid move. Compiling how often a person speaks and what the probability is of them being scum is a pretty incredibly dumb move. Starts the voting without the host's king's permission. No reasoning behind his vote except to jump on the bandwagon. Sending defense via PM whispering instead of publically? WTF? Again, nothing in this post except to deny he's scum but instead dumb. Stupid. Again with the whispered instead of public defense. And again, WTF? Accuses another lurker. Also says that stating reasons for not speaking is a 'scumtell', which it isn't. Nothing in this statement except filler. Yuck. PIB, feel free to respond any way you want to. Others as well, discussion is exactly what we need. -
Just lost a Lvl 20 Priest at 40 Fame to a Medusa, with an Invoker + purple wand(can't remember the name) + 1% fame bonus Tome equipped and Mithril Armor + several other good items in Inventory. AOL won't let me make another account to use as a mule, either. But, now I've got an Archer with Double Bow + Elvencraft Quiver equipped, and trying to get back to 20 so I can get on the road to unlocking Huntress (Double Bow and Elvencraft Quiver were in my Vault).

Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Day Two
Darth Nihilus replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Frickin'.... Okay, I guess there's no reason to deliberate over the deaths of those three; we need to avenge them! First off: Pinocchio was a Good Guy. Thus, some of the first suspects should be the ones that accused him, and/or those who simply jumped on the bandwagon for no good reason. I'll have to check the other day thread try to remember which ones those were, and then quote their posts talk to them directly. I'm going to go do that in a mo, just after I talk about the other two that died. So, I am assuming here that Mr. Bear was the Vigilante, as that would be the only way he could be both Town and have a killing Action, as is illustrated by his kill of the Big Bad Wolf. He must have been killed by the Scum, who either a. just chose a Townie at random to kill and got lucky or b. caught onto the fact that he had a Night Action. Since BBW was Good as well, that would mean that we lost our Vigilante without a single scum kill by him. Not only does that suck, it also hurts the Town, as now we only have one kill per Day/Night sequence, and that is our lynch. We also have three passive Night Actions, as illustrated by Lesson 3; a Roleblocker, an Investigator, and a Doctor. So, despite the kill of our Vigilante, I believe that we can still win this if we coordinate and try to root out the liars among us. Anyone with me? -
Dak sat at a table on his own, a drink clutched tightly in his left hand, shaking ever so slightly. The time was coming. He would have to set out soon, to whatever fate awaited him at the alleyway the note had told him to go to. The glass abruptly shattered in his palm, spraying glass all over his face and chest. Tutting under her breath, a serving maid cleared the mess away, and Dak plucked the shards of glass from his face, shirt, and hands absently, barely feeling the pain despite seeing the blood well up in the wounds. He noted, even in his slightly shell-shocked state, the Hero he had fought in the Arena walk into the Hall and go to sleep. Haldor and a Hero Dak had never seen were conversing, and several others milled about. The sun was setting. He had better set out. Dak wrapped himself in a cloak that shadowed his face and body, and continued out the door, shivering slightly in the cold night air. He wrapped his cloak tighter about himself as he strode quickly and purposefully through the ever-darkening streets of Eubric. A man shouldered into Dak, and the boy spun, looking after the shadowy figure, who was lumbered away into the darkness of the streets. He continued to the alleyway, fading into the darkness as he did so, ready for whatever waited for him. Dak flicked his knife out of its sheath and into his hand, holding it at the ready.

Dak signs up for Quest #25: Imbuing the Sword and Quest #29: Journey to Dastan. His sign up for both is an eloquently written D. Shadeaux.
-
Okay, I'll switch to that one.
-
Dak yanks the less experienced hero to his feet. "Or you could stop fighting so much and simply enjoy the Hall," Dak spoke, dusting himself off. With that, he strode back down the passageway to the main part of the Hall.
