Dak had passed out at the bar again. He woke slowly, inwardly scolding himself for such a poor choice of a place to sleep. Seeing the people nearby, the elven woman Alexis and a man in shining silver armor, conversing merrily, he got up, away from the happiness around him that did not refect what he was feeling at all. He ran up to his quarters in a foul mood, exuding an air of malevolence around him that made most shy away from his path, and changed into clothes that more suited his mood, a black undershirt, grey jacket, and long brown pants with sheaths for both his knives at the waist. Walking back into the main room, he is struck by a wave of noise, hustle and bustle. He quickly slides from shadow to shadow, avoiding human company, until he finds a small table with two seats next to it. Shoving one seat away, he pulls the table into a shady corner of the hall and sits, thinking and twirling the knife, the one he had bought from the Witch Atramor and forgotten about, in his hands. (OOC: I forgot to update my sig when I bought that, sorry. Also, there's a new picture of Dak coming later today, stay tuned!

I accept your challenge! Next Wren quest, if Dak's Level 15 by then, I'm signing up! BTW, TheBoyWonder, I'm a bit flattered by your character's similarities to Dak, but a little offended as well. It seems like it's a combination of Dak (black hair, twin swords, the same torso he had a few months ago) and The Legonater's character (name..sort of).

Oh crap, checked the rules and you're right. I could've sworn it said that Lightning deals double damage to Humanoids earlier. Yes, but if you target it and roll a Shield, even though you won't deal damage, there won't be any negative effects to the party. You could still soak up the free hits, even though you're Stunned. If, say, it instantly KO'd you instead, I would protest. But really, it's not too bad when you think about it, or at least not to me.

Since Amethysts are not very accessible to the general body of Heroes (not sold by Elphaba-haven't seen many enemies that drop them), Black Knight is one of the best ways for a non-mage character to get Darkness-elemental damage against an enemy. Add to that the fact that Topaz is one of the most-purchased gems, and (I think) you could potentially have quadruple-damage against humanoid enemies. So, this means that Black Knights with a Topaz-imbued weapon (Which I happen to have ) fighting a Humanoid, would get WP x 12 added to level damage. Let's do the math, shall we. As no-one else has stated plans to become a Black Knight, I will use Dak and assume he is Lvl 15 with the dagger he has, WP:10. Fighting against a Humanoid enemy, he would get 10 x 12 + 15 = 135 damage, more than enough to (potentially) take it out. Even though he's stunned, he can take the first spot in the battle order, and his shield can absorb the free hit(s), if there are any. That's why I don't think Black Knight is underpowered, especially with a good shield and/or weapon. Demons wouldn't be too bad as a Black Knight, unless there are more of them than there are of the party. As I said, when a Black Knight is Stunned after a Shield roll, he/she can be placed first in the battle order to absorb the free hits. Exactly. Whereas all the other Knight advanced classes (except, perhaps, Mystic Knight) are more the take-damage-to-save-the-rest-of-the-party classes, Black Knight allows you to upgrade yourself to be a total tank, and survive if the rest of the party gets KO'd. Admittedly, as a result of the 6 roll, they may not be a team player class, but still, they can make short work of enemies if they get their weapons and shields strong enough.

My current char, a Lvl 20 Wizzie, has +6 HP and + 14 MP! That's my best roll yet! I also have really good equips.

I use a Windows 7 laptop (oh god is it hard to use that mousepad ), so I have Nexus set to End, the arrow keys as my controls, Q and W as rotation, I to turn on autofire, space for special power, and 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, and 8 as my Inventory Slot keys.

Awwww. I saw you dying a lot earlier, but I thought it was on purpose, suiciding, not...you know, actually dying. I can attest to Fame farming being boring. Agreed.

Stand on the beach then, and teleport to the largest group of Level 20s and 1s (They tend to go there, thinking the level 20s will protect them) you can find, and TP right into the middle of it. That's how I find the GLands, anyway.

Try teleporting to the G-lands instead of walking through the midlands to get there.

I've basically made it my quest to finish as many dungeons as possible. Plus, Greater Coil Snakes are fun to kill, as are minor gods. Oh, as of today, add two more Forbidden Jungles and a Sprite World to that list. Getting a dex potion was awesome.

No scarier than the dance-fighting to a Lvl 10 who has trouble circling.

Urgh. Horrible day for me. Can't get Rogue to 20, however hard I try, and when I switch classes I lose track of my HP and die. Freaking stupid me.
