  1. Good point. Here’s an amended idea. Central city: Flash Museum, maybe have half a star labs, Barry Allen’s lab, Barry Allen’s and Iris Allen’s apartment and half of Star Labs. Figs: Barry Allen (lab coat), Flash, Kid Flash, Wally West, updated versions of all the Rogues, Iris west, Red death (have to have the compulsory Batman reference), Silas Stone and Cyborg. Coast City: Small GL Central Power Battery on roof tops, Hector Hammond’s lab, Hal Jordan’s apartment, Alley where Ganthet meets Kyle Rayner (Kyle will also have a fridge reference in Hal’s apartment, iykyk), Ferris Air, Cemetery for Black Lanterns to rise from and the other half of Star Labs. Figs: Hal Jordan (mid transformation so half normal clothes and half GL suit), Hal Jordan (Parallax), Kyle Rayner (classic suit), Atrocitus, White lantern Sinestro, Abin Sur, Carol Ferris Star Sapphire (new 52 suit as yet again iykyk), Saint Walker, Hector Hammond, Black Hand and Black lantern Batman. They could probably be smaller Modulars more akin to the Sanctum Sanctorum.
  2. They could do one for each DC city with elements of Batman but with a primary focus on the City’s hero. Gotham: Batman and Bat-family focus. (Two of these as it is most iconic and has more cool locations.) Metropolis: Batman and Superman + JL focus. (This is probably the 2nd most likely) Coast City: Batman and Green Lantern focus. Central City: Batman and Flash focus. Star Labs: Justice League and Batman focus. Then you could combine all of these to form the ultimate DC city. I honestly think that this would be awesome and be a lot cooler than marvel Modulars.
  3. I don’t know, hopefully soon. I need that death star fig list
  4. I kinda blame Marvel’s terrible recent movies for the bad reception of superhero sets. There’s a reason why Lego’s been making more infinity saga sets than new film sets cause frankly both kids and Adults agree that they suck. To the casual kid and collector if their view of any superhero is soured they may just begin to dislike the entire genre all together. Cases in Point: Eternals sets flopping, Shang Chi sets flopping, Lego not being bothered to make a Quantumania set, Wakanda Forever sets flopping (we know this because of the numerous discounts on Lego.com) and I would bet the Marvel’s set was so overpriced because Lego wanted to make up for how little they knew it would sell. Add that with the crap that was the DCEU it’s no wonder that Lego’s afraid to push out of the guaranteed Batman and infinity saga Comfort zone. Because they know that it’s insanely risky. As much as I love Green Lantern and the Justice League they are not going to happen unless Superman and the rest of the DCU is a financial and commercial hit.
  5. Hush, Spoiler, Batman Who laughs, Dawnbreaker, Red Robin and batwing just to name a few possibilities. Alas lego was ignorant of the coolest parts of DC yet again.
  6. Agreed. When I first heard that there was a UCS bat cave coming out last year, I was super excited as I was considering all the cool comic characters they could put in it and all the classic relics like the massive joker card Lego could do. It felt like a slap in face when it was revealed to be what it actually was. NGL Lego was kinda stupid in making it Burton based because they limited not just the market but the creativity they could have had with it.
  7. I personally hope that the x-wing this summer is a new colour scheme and that the go with one of these two options. Partisan X-Wing: yes I know it’s unlikely but the black and white colour scheme is dope. It would also go well with the Saw anniversary figure. It could be a Andor S2 set and include Two-tubes, the already confirmed tie and X-wing pilots and Dedra Meero as minifigures. Hera’s Green X-Wing from Rebels S4: Yes it is even more unlikely but still possible thanks to Ahsoka. Ideal Figs would be Fighter Pilot Hera, Mon Mothma, young wedge Antilles, Vult Skerris and Governor Price. On another note about this set, what’s the likelihood that the extra pieces are just for a turbo laser turret and if so would it be able to connect to the Death Star playset?
  8. I think Maul was a good choice. Would have preferred an entirely new character though. Looking at the recent update on the Marvel wave there’s a decent chance that we will get more information on the August wave in the next few weeks. I really want to know the full fig list for the Death Star.
  9. Tie Defender and Tie Crawler crying in the background from you and Lego’s neglect. But anyway I do agree that there’s a 50% chance of a tie advanced being in the set.
  10. I think that Guy Gardner would be a superman legacy set. But if they did a dc poly bag with a small side build I’d advocate for Kyle Rayner being a good pick. It could even be a Lego version of the recent Mcfarlane figure. It would include a green kendo armour and a green katana + a lantern from the CMF series. Thoughts on this idea?
  11. I’m kinda just hoping that the Death Star playset can double as a generic imperial base with a small hangar. Anyone else? Also we might be getting more set info on the summer wave any day now since Marvel just got updated details on specific minifigures and play features.
  12. I just hope that it’s not Cal Kestis that’s wrong. If they used my boy purely as bait Imma have to Operation Nightfall Lego headquarters. Anyone in? (I wouldn’t mind if it’s not a death star but an imperial base or BB imperial shuttle that he’s in though)
  13. That would be cool. If it was a good army builder I would buy multiple. Ideal minifig selection for that would be 1 stormtrooper, 1 stormtrooper heavy/ officer and a tank driver. I could also see Lego doing battlefront based battlepacks like last year’s 501st one in the future not explicitly based on the games but because it would be a good template of letting kids get different troopers. Here’s some ideas: Imperial: 2 stormtroopers, heavy trooper, and scout trooper sniper. Imperial (reinforcements): imperial jet trooper, imperial jet trooper commander, ISB agent and a death trooper. Rebel: 2 fleet troopers, 1 heavy trooper and a officer. Republic (reinforcements): 2x Arc Trooper (different skins), Clone Commando and Wookie warrior. Resistance (reinforcements): 2x Resistance Jet Trooper and then the 2 other alien reinforcements in the game.
  14. Agreed, my priorities this year are the Tantive hallway (so that I can build up my republic, rebel and imperial forces), The Death Star playset (so I can build up my imperial forces and get Cal Kestis my favourite Disney era jedi) and at least 2 clone vs droid battlepacks. Edit: the theories of Lego doing an Order 66 on all the leakers might actually be true because Brickclicker has also gone silent for more than a month now, not just FalconFan. Dark times these are for us Lego leak enthusiasts.
  15. I think the idea is actually it’s a minifigure scale creature that’s either large or with a bunch of side builds. There are so many different things it could possibly be. But seeing as no major sources have apparently backed that up and it mostly being Life-Bricks and other unreliable YouTubers like him that have been circulating that rumour I think there’s at least a 50% chance it’s fake. If you ask me it’s going to be a movie playset. Seeing that all the other sets with Anniversary figs are based off the films and furthermore there’s a good chance that it’s TPM based. Would anyone else be up for a Battle of Theed?
  16. Deathstroke was already recognisable from more child friendly stuff though. Teen Titans, Teen Titans Go, Young Justice and multiple animated Batman series. So I honestly think that’s a moot point.
  17. There’s a solution for the tank thing. They could always do cybertronian spaceship megatron. And boy if it was based off TFP I would buy it immediately. I wouldn’t even mind if it was another Optimus, especially if it was his TFP beasthunters appearence. Imagine how cool the star saber , Gatling gun and jetpack would be.
  18. I honestly think that if the two “vehicle” code named icons sets are indeed Transformers. Imma bet that the smaller one is Bumblebee and the larger one is Megatron since they are probably the two most popular and iconic transformers that aren’t Optimus. And they are both appearing in Transformers One. I just hope that they don’t do G1 design bumblebee as i honestly think that his more modern appearances, specifically the 2018 Bumblebee movie, better. Especially with the head horns being replaced by more bee looking Antennae.
  19. *Sighs* We know what we have to do. We need to 501st battlepack the crap out of Lego to bring the DC theme back to life. Edit: With the downward spiral that the MCU is in right now I honestly think that in 5 years there’s a high chance that Marvel will be limited to Spiderman sets with some other heroes being sprinkled in. Need proof? Look at the last few of Lego’s public quarter earnings reports. For a theme as large as Marvel it should only be sustainable if it is in the Top 5 bestsellers, but it is not.
  20. Hear me out, I think there’s a chance that the Young Leia set could be a Rex’s Y-Wing. Reason A: Lego has never made a microfighter (Bar the Bantha as that doesn’t really count) of a ship that they haven’t made in playscale form in any past time or in the very near future. Reason B: It’s the perfect price point (especially since the engines would be filled out unlike rebel Y-Wings) Reason C: Ashoka’s popularity is at an all time high. Plus it looks like Rex will have a more prominent role in BBS3. Reason D: Lego’s started doing Fan requested sets (case in point being they’re making a Jedi Bob set which has been heavily requested in the last few years) Reason E: And I know that I may be the spitballing with this one but because of Fives, they have an arc trooper base print at the ready if Lego decided to do Jesse in the near future. Reason F: Lego is currently producing all of the different clones that appeared in the finale of Clone wars. (Shock, 501st and 332nd) therefore making the characters in the set even more easy to produce. Reason G: And yes this is the least likely reason, but there is a lack of Clone Wars sets this summer compared to the past 2 years. And we all know how many clone sets the AFOLs have been buying up.
  21. A comic based Arkham with a hyper detailed Batman, Red Robin, Cassandra Cain Batgirl, Spoiler, Arkham Knight and Batwing as some of the minifigures would slap though. We could also get a Calendar man, Hush, updated deathstroke and professor pig as well as all the standard villains. They could even include a Batman who laughs.
  22. I mean Lego would be sort of justified if they advertise it as a BBS3 set. Which there is a chance they will just to save cost.
  23. My hopes for next year’s battlepack. Either one of these as I’ve had enough of the clones and want to build up my empire. Imperial army battlepack (based off Andor): 2 helmeted imperial army troopers, 1 officer cap imperial army trooper and a stormtrooper. Build would be one of those speeders with the mounted machine guns from Andor S1 finale. Imperial Death Star Security battlepack: 2 stormtroopers, a Death Star trooper and a very low ranking officer (preferably ISB) It would be an add on to the upcoming Death Star playset. So probably a small hallway build. Jedi Fallen Order/ Jedi Survivor imperial battlepack: 1 Scout trooper, 1 scout trooper commander, one stormtrooper commander and a purge trooper. Build would be a checkpoint and a DT sentry droid. (Would include multiple differently coloured pauldrons for customisation and 2 riot shields and shock batons for the scout troopers.) Ideally the pauldrons would be made from a new plastic material akin to the doctor strange cloak. Which of these ideas would you guys prefer and which do you think is most likely?
  24. More likely Acolyte and Andor S2 sets, seeing Lego’s track record with BBS2. On a related note, could Lego not include Rex’s pauldron in the micro fighter and call it a BBS3 set to get away with it? (In the trailer Rex doesn’t have his pauldron)
