  1. Supersized Minion officially revealed. https://www.lego.com/en-us/themes/despicableme/about Lego probably saying Happy April Fools. But the real sets might get revealed tomorrow.
  2. Grogu’s Escape is frankly overpriced in my opinion. But an excellent build, phenomenal craftsmanship from the designers, oh and the speeder is alright I guess. Sith Infiltrator looks incredible. It’s just not for me. Saving up for the Death-Star playset I just want more info on that soon.
  3. I didn’t actually mean Rex’s Y-Wing specifically just as an example. I was just saying that the set is probably going to be something really awesome by itself if Lego expects it to sell well with Young Leia as an anniversary figure. On another note. Do you guys think we could get some August wave updates tomorrow? Last year we got updated information on the swamp speeder (it was revealed to be 332nd) and Yavin play-set (we got the full fig-list) as well as the September wave. And the year before that it was revealed that Cody and the 212th would be in the AT TE around April 1st.
  4. Do we know whether the young Leia set is definitely a creature build? If not, watch it be something awesome like a Rex’s Y-wing. It’s the only way people are gonna buy that set. I don’t think enough kids and adults alike would actually want a Young Leia.
  5. Imperial hardware Part Two: Atrocities of the Empire. Tie Reaper (£79.99): 2x Purge Trooper Snipers, Electro-staff Purge Trooper, Mari Kosan and Ninth Sister big fig. Tie Defender (£49.99): Governor Price, Commander Titus Brom, Vult Skerris and a Death Trooper. AT DT (£29.99): 3x Mudtroopers and a Mimban Stormtrooper. Quaser fire-class cruiser-carrier (£159.99): Cham Syndulla, tie fighter pilot, ranked tie fighter pilot, imperial navy officer, imperial crewman and a stormtrooper. (Would be in scale with the Moff Gideon’s light cruiser from 2021 also including both the mini Tie fighters we saw in that set and some in scale mini tie bombers.) Aldhani Imperial Checkpoint (£34.99) Lieutenant Gorn, Disguised Cassian Andor (officer cap) and 2 imperial army troopers. Gorn’s speeder is included. Tie Crawler (£34.99): Mara Jade and 2 Shadow Troopers. Hope you guys like this instalment. Let me know if you would like a part 3.
  6. That’s pretty cool. It probably won’t be what the anniversary set ends up being but this is a pretty good and a very wholesome guess overall. Well done, excellent mock. Seeing that the promo short film on the Lego website took place on the Tantive IV, and that the Hallway is Modular could this possibly be an add on for the hallway? Especially looking at the Stormtrooper and Rebel fleet trooper figures.
  7. Honestly the only UCS bat-vehicle that I think would be cool is a UCS Flying Fox from justice league. It would be minifigure scale and would have all the justice League figures + black suit superman. As well as a Batmobile that can fit inside the cargo bay.
  8. Damn, you really forgot to add in the Cowboy hat. I’m honestly just wondering what the build is going to be. Is it a building? I don’t know why, and it most definitely won’t be, but the emphasis on generic rebels and stormtroopers makes me consider that this is an add-on of sorts to the Death Star set, but with special heads for the 501st legion guys. Or, could this possibly be the Beach Troopers and Rebel Friend set we’ve been waiting for?
  9. Yeah I was thinking it was a little sus. But I just wanted to get a second opinion on it before I made a judgement.
  10. I just went on r/LegoStarWarsLeaks. There’s a recent post by u/PhoenixFan1515 saying this. I do not know whether this is a joke or not. But if it’s real then these are dark times my friends. Please help I don’t have much time left I got a cease and desist in the mail they threatened legal action, the dark falcon and the Jedi bob star fighter were fake meant to find out who had been leaking them I can No longer post any leaks or else I may be sued, farewell my friends and may the force be with you.
  11. So with anniversary figures, now that I know the story behind R2 KT and realise that she represents the best of the fanbase, I have come to this conclusion. 5 hydrogen bombs vs 1 coughing baby. I do not need to elaborate because you all know who the coughing baby is. On a related note: if the anniversary set is indeed my theory of being based off the 501st charity, and if Lego does a hasbro and donates a hefty percentage of profits to charity, it will satisfy both army builders and people who want to donate money to charity. I myself would happily buy this instead of a clone battle pack or maybe even the Tantive Hallway because it may only be around a few months.
  12. What exactly are we thinking that this anniversary set is supposed to be? A battlepack? If so we’re getting a lot of stormtroopers this year. Edit: What if it’s a set based on the 501st legion charity?
  13. I just researched R2 K2. I take it back, this is an amazing figure to have. The story behind her creation is really heart-warming. So you know what, this is a better choice than young Leia.
  14. Some imperial military hardware because frankly the empire has been neglected in ground forces compared to the clones. Stormtrooper battlepack (£18.99) 2 stormtroopers, stormtrooper commander (with a new plastic pauldron similar to doctor strange’s cape) and a shock trooper. (with backpack) Build would be an imperial checkpoint. ITT (£59.99): 2 stormtroopers, 1 stormtrooper commander, 2 Tank Drivers and an imperial Lieutenant. Imperial security gunship (£49.99): imperial scout trooper (from Jedi: fallen order), scout trooper commander, imperial shock trooper and a ISB Lieutenant. Modular imperial bunker (£149.99) can connect with modular series. Figures: 2x imperial technician, imperial captain, imperial army officer (green uniform), 2x scout troopers and 2x stormtroopers. Victory class Star Destroyer (£149.99): This would be a homage to the empire of Legends. Figures: Captain Pallaeon, Admiral Daala, Rukh and 2x Vader’s Fist troopers. Long Live The Empire! Please let me know what you guys think. And whether you agree that the empire has been neglected when it comes to army building.
  15. Wait, what? Why are there so may rebels and stormtroopers in a celebration set?
  16. I hope R2 K2 doesn’t count as one of the main Anniversary figures just rather one in the anniversary set. We still need potential for Mara Jade.
  17. Is it though? Let’s have a look, a steady decline in the number of sets we get. Most of those being overpriced. There is no creativity with the playsets anymore it’s just Batmobile after Batmobile. Whilst marvel has more heroes getting their own sets, here we are with purely Batman Harley Quinn and Joker sets not a single Robin in 3 years for some figure diversity. Despite 6 DC movie’s releasing in the last two years. From my viewpoint, DC is Lego’s least favourite franchise child when you compare it with Marvel.
  18. Here’s what I’m thinking: Phase 1 clone battle pack: ARF trooper, 2 clone troopers, 501st Lieutenant. Includes minifigure scale AT RT, droideka build and Red macro binoculars. Ryloth AT TE: Armoured Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, Phase 1 commander Cody, Commander Pons, Waxer, Boil and Razer. Has a AT RT deployment play feature. Droid Artillery: Luminara Unduli, P1 Commander Gree, Desert ARF Trooper, Updated Tactical droid and a bunch of droids. UCS Twilight: Armoured Anakin, new seasons 1-3 Ahsoka, P1 Captain Rex, Denal, Echo, Fives and Cad Bane. (Updated Rotta the Hutt would be included.)
  19. I would say yes. But seeing that it’s already getting an X-mansion as a D2C, I doubt it. There’s also a major difference: X-men 97 is aged the same as most other marvel products. Batman: Caped Crusader is A: not out yet and B: going to be for a more mature audience apparently. As much as I would like Deadpool and Invincible sets, they like Batman: Caped Crusader are mature and therefore aren’t getting sets. Before you counter this with “But The Batman got sets.” Yes it did but movie tie-ins for house-hold heroes like Batman are going to be made no matter the age rating. An animated TV show doesn’t warrant as much representation in toys as a movie.
  20. At this point I’ve got 3 thoughts on the $200 D2C. Ideal option: Modular Star Labs. Ideal but more realistic option: BTAS Arkham modular. (Just an upscaled version of the one in the Art Set, it would also be a chance for us to get the villains and Robin) Realistic: UCS Batvehicle.
  21. Yeah. And then on may 1st we’ll probably get a reveal for the June Wave. And hopefully next week, like last year, we’ll get an update on the August Wave.
  22. Right so as far as we know the $200 superhero D2C coming later this year is DC not Marvel. So what do we actually think it is? My heart wants it to be a small modular Arkham. But my Brain tells me that it will probably be a UCS Batpod.
  23. So we expecting any big reveals on May 4th? I know we don’t most years but the big countdown timer on Lego.com makes me wonder. 🧐
  24. Bro as much as that would be awesome, WB, the owners of DC, doesn’t have the Lego Movie license anymore. Universal does.
