So here's how the suspension is done: The main idea is to squeeze the small white rubber bands through the holes in the Technic beams, attach them to round 1x1 plates and then cover them with the long plates. As for bricks, the most important part in my model is perhaps the 1x4 SNOT brick (BrickLink code 30414), to which the suspension is attached. If you have any more questions, please ask!

[G16 - Cattamascar - SR] Entrenchment

Seems like the Ssi-Ruuvi won this campaign, and there's nothing I can do about it... -
EPISODE II - Truce At Bakura
Max_Lego replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
@MKJoshA, I succeeded! I posted my entry on time! Long live the Empire and New Republic friendship!!! -
As soon as the Ssi-Ruuvi Imperium invaded the agricultural Imperial world of Kammia, Mon Mothma immediately expressed readiness to send the New Republic Starfleet to assist defending Imperial forces. For the pilots serving under the ambitious Commissar Rax, Thrawn's immediate acceptance of New Republic's help came as little surprise - everyone knew Thrawn as a pragmatic leader, and the situation went out of Imperial control. But Rax's enthusiastic demeanor towards the upcoming collaboration shocked even those aware of the Commissar's fanatic loyalty to the Grand Admiral - after all, Rax furiously hated the self-proclaimed rebel state. - As the late Emperor Palpatine once pointed out, - Rax explained, - accepting help from our direct enemies is not against the Imperial way, if absolutely essential to our Empire's survival. From this moment on, any anti-Rebel propaganda should be postponed indefinitely. - How are we supposed to collaborate with those Rebel scum? - the reinforcement pilots asked their leader before embarking on a journey to Kammia. - Just keep yourselves as friendly towards them as possible, okay? And of course, don't discuss any politics with them. In fact, consider this collaboration as "friendly competition"! Show Rebel pilots that TIE interceptors are superior to anything they fly... ... The Ssi-Ruu deployed thousands of Swarm-class space droids around Kammia in order to prevent any landing parties to assist the local Imperial garrison. Thrawn quickly came up with a plan, approved by New Republic Starfleet admirals. While TIE Interceptors engaged the droids in dogfights (thanks to their superior maneuverability), New Republic A-wings employed the 'hit & run' tactic against the latter (due to their superior speed). In the end of the operation, pilots on both sides executed Thrawn's plan flawlessly, successfully destroying all enemy droids. By then not only they put their political differences aside, but, most surprisingly, neither side cared whose starfighters were better. Upon learning this, Commissar Rax laughed so hard that the entire Galactic Empire crew felt that this was indeed a glorious day! ... Two additional pics of the RZ-1 A-wing starfighter: Please note, that the model was assembled in frantic hurry, has imperfections and is yet to be finished. However, due to limited time, I had to rush it into flight!

EPISODE II - Truce At Bakura
Max_Lego replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
"...I don't want to say "Long live the Ssi-Ruuvi Imperium!" instead of the more appropriate "Long live the Empire!" at all!" - /Gallius Rax briefly considered doing harakiri before deciding to join the partisan movement... Seriously though, if I am lucky, I might finish my build on time! Let's hope for the best... -

EPISODE II - Truce At Bakura
Max_Lego replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
@MKJoshA, I have a question concerning cat. C. Since I can't portray Ssi-Ruu warriors properly with parts available (only priests), I might try to build some kind of space battle of the New Republic and Imperial Starfleets against invading space droids. Would such a scene fit the category requirements? -
MYSTERIES: Introduction and Rules Season 2
Max_Lego replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
I agree. Sadly, that's true. Honestly, I feel kinda ashamed, but there was nothing I could do about it. I hope when Mysteries will be back, I would be ready to do my part. P. S. : prices on Vidiyo dragons are INSANE -
EPISODE II - Truce At Bakura
Max_Lego replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
So, the point of cat. C is to "desperately resist the Ssi-Ruuvi invasion", i. e. try and earn more XP on said four planets than the GM in order to prevent the Ssi-Ruuks from taking over. Did I get that right? Honestly, it sounds like an awesome Idea! Also, I can't wait to see @MKJoshA's Ssi-Ruuvi themed builds! -
Thank you for the application. Sadly, I don't have any instructions. If I ever have them done, I will share them here. Sorry...

Congratulations, @Sentinel_Brix! I knew you were going to be the winner since you posted your 4th entry... I had my faith in you.

Max_Lego replied to nopingrid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Looks absolutely splendid! The smooth hull, the shaping, the details... Very smart use of small pieces. Even the stand looks splendid... Good job! -
Sadly I don't have any instructions. I might post a breakdown photo. Would it be enough?

@MKJoshA, please register this entry to F14 - Zakuul since it's the DS homeworld. Thanks *You entry has earned 16 points (S:5, A:5, T:6) plus 16 bonus = 32 points. Thrawn's small fleet of Star Destroyers exited hyperspace at a safe distance from the dreaded Mugg Fallow system. Before the Mnggal-Mnggal had time to alert the zombie ships in the planet's orbit, TIE squadrons were launched. (Sadly, I didn't have enough imagination to design and build at least some of the ghost ships, so they are omitted) The TIE Bombers launched multiple homing missiles at enemy ships, with TIE Interceptors finishing the job with blaster cannon fire as soon as defeated targets couldn't respond. The Bombers could launch missiles without entering the enemy firing range, which gave them advantage. In roughly one hour there were no zombie ships left, with only one TIE Interceptor lost by accident (with the pilot being killed immediately). The Star Destroyers then began a total orbital bombardment of the planet's surface. The agony of the evil gray mass being obliterated by turbolasers could be seen on the ships' sensors. In two exhausting hours of non-stop bombardment, with the turbolasers starting to run out of ammo, the planet's surface was entirely molten. Due to the significant loss of mass, the planet's gravity was altered, which required correcting the Star Destroyers' trajectories. It's been half an hour since the sensors stopped picking up any life form activity until Thrawn ordered to cease the bombardment. - There's no way anything could survive that, - Captain Kanady commented. - Is this Mnggal-Mnggal finally annihilated for good? - Faro asked Thrawn. - Almost , but not exactly, - Thrawn replied, - small fragments of the Mnggal-Mnggal still exist out there, but now they are scattered and vulnerable. With most of its mass on Mugg Fallow's surface obliterated, the Mnggal-Mnggal lost 99,99% of its power, and regaining it would require too much time. Of course, we won't allow it to happen. Wherever fragments of the Mnggal-Mnggal resurface, we shall destroy it without mercy... ...I'm done here. It could've been much better - I just couldn't put enough effort into it.

@MKJoshA, my story takes place near Mugg Fallow in the Unknown Regions. Does registering my entry to Zakuul in D13 mean that I have to indicate Zakuul D13 in my entry's name? -

@MKJoshA, I remember you banned a guy for bringing in the Gaza events. And now you say that insulting Chinese people is perfectly fine. I understand everything, except one thing: If I am the one responsible, why can't you just ban me already? -
