I would try some ABS plumbing glue first. Use a tooth pick to apply and set the pin back into place.

Not sure which sets you have but this site might help you out. http://www.brickfact.../set/index.html Just go to your set number and it will pull up the instructions.

I do this a lot. simply for the fact that i cant afford most of the sets i want. As you mentioned. its always great to get brand new LEGO and the box, but I think that its more fun to build it the way its supposed to be until i cant any more( because of the lack of parts) and then make the set my "own" . In the volvo bucket situation i would try and build one out of lift arms and panels or plates. Thats my two cents.

News The LEGO Movie: 70810 MetalBeard's Sea Cow
branolego replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Did any one notice that the flags are flying in the wrong direction? A minor detail, just thought id throw that out there. Great looking set though with so many nice pieces and things to play with.- 158 replies

concerning your question about how to get your string to spool up nicely, the cranes i work around have a rod pressing down over the spooled cable so it has no choice but to roll up nice. not sure if that helps or makes any sense. nice crane though.

I was wondering what had happened to your story. I found it very odd that it just disappeared one day. Glad to hear your on the road to recovery. Id always look forward to what was going to happen next to wilf and emily was it? They made me laugh. I hope you continue to heal and always have enough energy for LEGO and comics. P.S. your link wont allow me to see your blog, any ideas?

[MOC] Skap, a car transformers (31007 power mech alternate model)
branolego replied to bacem's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
A really nice idea. I too recently made a transformer car and it is harder than it looks to close all the gaps and still allow it to function as a transformer. even harder yet with limited pieces. Great job. -
As long as you didn't receive a confirmation email or letter stating a completed transaction where your payment went though, you should be good to go as far as a canceled transaction.

Thanks for the input and comments fellas. I see your point The_Cook. plus the size of the models would have been larger also and therefore increasing the price more than likely. I guess ill just have to modify the sets to my liking.

I recently bought a bin of LEGO and in it was the complete kings castle set from 1984. The armor shop was also in there as well, and so it made me think, since the kings castle can be added to using all the smaller sets, such as the armor shop and blacksmith shop, why did they use thick base plates on the additions and thin base plates on the castle. Were they meant to be used on the knights castle instead? Just a curios thought. Figured I would throw this out there seeing the classic castle addition by Brickscape, which is very fitting i might add. Any body have any ideas as to why this is?
