My dream themes have to easily be Chrono Trigger and Xenoblade. I wish we got them in the mid 2000s. The Mechon really could have utilized Bionicle parts. Id love to get a set of Ouroboros Noah Vs Moebius DJ.

My Legends of Chima retrospective on my YouTube channel now has no end in sight. Thankfully I was planning ahead just in case this would happen. -
LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion

I think if lego focused on making villain for the full year it would help a lot. When i dropped out of ninjago in around 2015, I think the splitting of HY really helped that. It was hard to be as attached to villains like I was with the serpentine. Also there is the march wave to look forward too. But I am in agreement. I want to see this faction continue one into 2HY. -
Unpopular Opinions about LEGO

That's the absolute worst! everyone on the modern eBay thinks they have gold. People have literally attempted to sell Disney VHS tapes for thousands because of articles. But still that's the worst feeling is when you go to a used video game/collectible store and they clearly use eBay listings not sold. Rant time. A Bricks and Minifigs opened up near me and the prices are awful most of the time. Too many times I've seen incomplete sets go for complete prices but the minifigures that belong to the set are sitting in the counter for like $20. The one that grossed me was set 7093 Skelton Tower having no minifigs and dragon. Just the tower. It was going got like $60-70. But the dragon that clearly went to it was sitting in the counter for like $30. Eh but I did get a Hydro Reed Wrecker for $40, missing the bushes and a printed tile. So it is worth it to go I guess -

Dreamzzz was just never going to be my thing, which is fine. If you like it get! we need more in house themes. But I completely disagree with the time cruisers being more incoherent. It could also be I'm looking at it from the entire wave as a whole. The builds of Dreamzzz I think there great, I plan to pic up a few more than just Mateo and Z-blobs mech. There just expensive, but that another story entirely. Every set is coherent, but going from one set to the next is not... besides the nightmare forces. While every time cruisers set might not be coherent as a singular set but as a theme the grey makes them feel like a part of a whole faction.

There are 3 major licensed sets id love Lego to do outside of the big budgeted Hollywood projects. 1. I want either a Going Merry/Thousand Sunny from "One Piece". This one might be closer to reality than I realize with the live action version doing well. Lego loves Pirate Ships and making ones like the ones from one piece will be different from their traditional offerings 2. The Epoch from "Chrono Trigger". I know everyone loves the DeLorean from back to the future but, the epoch is a better time machine. 3. Faced Mechon/Ouroboros/Moebius from Xenoblade. Alright Lego, I know you love mechs, here's a ton. Besides the first one the other 2 are not likely in the slightest. This could also be me yearning for Lego to attempt to go for a teen audience, besides just the standard Star Wars and Harry Potter collectors.

I think that's the issue, there so focused on making things "For Kids", that they forget or lose touch with what kids want. I think Dreamzzz is a focus group nightmare. Its a clear attempt to get every demographic with one theme but all these ideas clash creating cracks within the frame. To top it all off all the clashing ascetics creates this air of soullessness. Not that it is soulless but that's just the vibe I get from it.

It almost certainly a GWP, But thats fine. I prefer GWP's like this and not a coveted remake of a classic set.... well a classic set that's full sized remake. As long as the threshold is not ridiculous, it should be a fine GWP. It just not for me. -

So what did you get? I mostly got castle minifigs. 6 lion knights and 5 forestmen. My bestseller's order came early December. I personally don't think its a large order, but seeing it shutdown makes me question if I'm even getting it in February. -

Man my order i got on the 27th from, not from the bestsellers list is still listed as in the warehouse. Do you know how fast they usually are? -
I find the golden era to be 2007 to around 2014. Its probably just nostalgia.

Honestly I've seen Blacktron as more of a Crime syndicate and less of a militaristic force. Its really modern warfare of Lego showing I have an issue with. I look at it as if you can show it on an 80's cartoon its probably fine. @TalonCard Thank you for your response. Its going to be the most helpful for this video!

I have a link to all of them on mega. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it though. There all really nice pdf's. I believe there from JrMasterModelBuilder.

Welcome gathered friends, I'm Paleozoic Bricks I run an up and coming YouTube channel focused on in house Lego themes. Retrospectives with stop motion to give them a bit of punch. At the moment my main theme I'm making a retrospective on is "Legends of Chima". I think its and underrated gem so I deiced to do it like how R.R. Slugger does his content. If Chima isn't your thing (it's clearly not everyone's thing) I'll probably make something on you will like eventually.

I think adventures is better because it stays true to the Lego groups core values. The fact Lego had to cancel a set from the new wave because of the its values not matching up with the movie is proof enough for me, and I don't think most scenes beside stuff like the golden idol, is fit for Lego. When the movies main villain's are the reason you refuse to make war toys, I think it says something.

This has happened before to me, where you just flat out get the wrong part. Most notably I never go the frog in the blacksmith set in its place the piece that looks like among us in sand green

Quality control for Lego has really gone down hill as a of late. Too many times I've gotten sets that aren't necessarily missing pieces but just flat out have the wrong piece. The most egregious example was in set 75324: Dark Trooper Attack. Luke was missing his torso and in replace was part #32250 technic liftarm , modified l-shape quarter ellipse thin 3x5. like what. Worst part is I don't even care that much for star wars, I just like the Mandalorian.

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
PaleozoicBricks replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I don't even think its the big pieces argument. I think the real enemy is Lego is making single use molds in a lot of cases. Now this isn't an excuse, because a rip off is still a ripoff. And yet that's not even an excuse for set 7533: AT-ST. That set is just horrible in its price to piece ration.
