I can say at this point that I would be happy to vote for Stanton to further our investigation, and since it was the last wish of our dear departed Zabrina. Ian has already voted, and I know my wife will support this line of voting, so if 6 others will agree with me then we can place our votes in the knowledge that we have a majority. I will not place my vote, however, until a majority of us agrees on someone. So, I'll just sit here until 6 of you say you'll vote for Stanton, or else until I see a reason to go for someone else. What are you drinking Ian, it looks up my alley.

Hey KhoRne, welcome back, we've missed you! I look forward to you taking part again, I think some of us have become a little stuck. Thanks for answering those questions, it makes it quite a bit easier to understand the years, seasons etc. I hope you didn't mind me writing in all that history, it will tie in with my plot line eventually. Oh that is sweet! You're a good drawer. I'll have to see if I can make it into minifig form. Talking of maps, I don't suppose if I sent you a rough picture of where I want some major cities located, with names and some other geographical features, you might be able to draw up a fancy version of the Dragon Masters Kingdom, like you did for Ankoria? I love your maps. Great to have you back, we need to get this RP going strongly again. If someone doesn't post soon I may be forced to do a double post!

As for leaving yesterday, I was avoiding a meeting with my maker, so to speak. That is, one of those FBI dudes tried to get me killed, and I made a leg and dashed. Luckily Iris has hooked me and my wife up with secure accommodation, so hopefully I'll be fine now. I don't want to say any more since the rats are here listening. Anyway, I'm back now, and in one piece.

I didn't see any relatives this time, I was actually taking part in the first course for the 2009/2010 New Zealand Secondary Students Choir. It was very tough and I've got pretty much no voice left now, but it was enjoyable and I met lots of new people. I have a another course in April, then another at the beginning of July etc (basically during school holidays), so I will have a few more "away" periods during the year. Does that answer your questions?

You won't be laughing when I get my Gatehouse finished. Well, actually you might. Anyway... I love the new layout Thrash, looking good! Now I really wish we could get the whole thing together, it would be wicked! Now that I'm back I'll get to work on finishing the gatehouse. I have quite a bit done already, but I have had an idea for two protruding towers which I might try, so I'll have to tear half of it down again. Ah well, I've never been any good with deadlines. I'll keep you posted, I may even try and get some WIP pictures up, if you're interested.

Actually yes. Well, I didn't actually bring them from my trip, they arrived in a little brown envelope before I left. I will try and take some nice pictures and have a review up in a few days, as that was what I was asked to do. You will find it very interesting, I am sure excited! I don't know, it looks really odd. I must have had it dyed or something... I did like my amazing hair though, it was the envy of the town...

Yes, I recieved mine just this week, it was waiting for me when I got back. First thing I did was fill it with water and stick it in the freezer. Lego ice-cubes for me tonight!

Lego is a building brand. It encourages the use of imagination and creativity. If somebody wants to build something realistic, then I'm fine with that. If I don't like it, I'll just look at something else. As I see it, if somebody wants to take the time and energy to build something, we should appreciate that, even if we don't much like the context. I find it hypocritical that people are happy to see others build gore-filled medieval battle depicting death and slaughter, or build pirates pillaging and raping in the Caribbean and yet don't like the idea of someone recreating a real event. One is just bad as the other, if you take them both out of context. Or put them in it, for that matter. The pirates we all know and love were in many ways just as bad if not worse than, for example, the NAZIs, just in there own different way. Pirates attacked, robed, burned and pillaged, killed children in front of their parents and raped wives before cutting their throats, as well as taking many innocent civilians hostage or to serve as slaves, while the NAZIs gassed people and enslaved them in concentration camps, and persecuted religious groups, etc. These two groups were both just as bad as each other. And yet, we despise the NAZIs, while we idolise the age of pirates. How messed up is that? This is just one example, but the point to this is that people are selective, and chose what they want to see. So, when you really think about it, is someone building a concentration camp any worse than someone building a pirate raid on a village? Not really. Remember that I do not mean to offend or force my view on anyone, I'm just trying to say what I believe, and why. I think that if you want to build something, then build it. Some people won't like it, as with all MOCs, but there will still be many who do appreciate it. I myself have never wanted to build anything considered to be "bad taste", but if I ever did I would hope that it would be commented on just like any other MOC. I think most builders know the limits of realism in Lego, and I know that most will never build anything truly offensive or hurtful to a group. As long as there is a good reason or inspiration behind a MOC, then I have no problem with it. Of course, building for the sake of offending people is a different matter entirely, I do not support that. However if the builder is trying to get a message across, or is simply building art, then I'm all for that. It all comes down to the individual; we all know what we are happy to build and what we feel uncomfortable about, but we should not try and impose this on other builders. I respect that many people don't want to build these sorts of "touchy subject" creations, however I do believe that if someone else wants to then who are we to say they can't? Respect that they want to build that, and then if you don't like it, go and look at something you can accept. Just don't try to tell people what they can and can't build because that is just silly. If someone wants to build reality, then that's cool, and if they don't, then that's cool too. It's up to them. In terms of a line, this doesn't come any where near one for me. I have seen far worse being built or created in art, and as we all know, Lego is just another form of art to the AFOL.Don't let it bother you. Well, glad I got that out of my system. I can get quite strong in my opinions sometimes, please don't take offence from anything I've said. I often get carried away like this, it's probably because I'm really into debating... EDIT: You know I think Shadows has said pretty much what I wanted to say, just in much fewer words. I feel a bit silly carrying on like I did now.

And the interior! I hope once I get mine done it will be as good as that. I envy people who can build fantastic interiors. Truly a wonderful building, with tons of eye-catching details. And it involves dragons! I don't suppose there's a secret room in the basement where the Order of the Dragon meets, is there? There is so much I like, I honestly can't list it all, so I won't. Although I must say that your decal is excellent! Now I need to take a nice, long, close look at all the pictures.

I laughed at the flesh eating ants, although I personally think you should buy a couple of hundred of the Indy ones and use those. The Jumper is also really nice, a great use of parts.
