Hey mate, I'm just making idle chatter. You know how we Baritones are, one minute cutting strips of skin off your back, the next sitting and drinking like old friends. If that's how you feel then fine, but it's a little early on really to start making judgements in my book. Unless you have some motive to start making accusations this early on? But I don't think so, we're all a little nervous to see how this whole deal roles out. Let's just drop it shall we and have a drink. Surely there is something good lying around down here. *goes in search of a bottle of something strong*

Rats are the filthy vermin who claim to be of the family or claim loyalty to the family, and yet are truly informants of the FBI. We shall hunt them out, and we shall deal with them like we always have done. And that is not pleasantly. *flicks a knife out of his sleeve, casually twirls it and flicks it back up to wherever it was hidden* You've got a sharp tongue there Pedro, mind you don't cut yourself with it.
-
Yes, those reckless relatives were a disgrace to the family name. Well they're gone now; the weak whittled out from the rest of us. We shall handle this little problem in a much more professional way. *cracks knuckles* We of the family also know how to deal with rats.

The Baritones 2 Introduction & Discussion Thread
Dragonator replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Poor Darlene... I feel sorry for Ivan, now left all alone in this world. That family has had the worst of luck. Ah well, Dragonatieri doesn't give a toss at least. -
Um, who are the Barrytons? I don't suppose they're FBI or something? One interesting thing to note is that three of our Captains have different last names, indicating that they are not born of the family. I assume that everyone else is a born Baritone, or at least are claiming to be?
-
I find it interesting that you have a brother who is not from The Family, Pedro. What exactly is your connection to our family? I understand you are one of our "Fronts"?

So is Darlene... The new rules look good, it'll be interesting to see how the game plays out using them. By the way, how long does each day last? It would be good to know so that we have a bit of warning for when we need to get out votes in by. I am assuming you will use the usual 5 normal days equals one Mafia day and the night lasts two or three days formula? -

Darlene will be sadly missed. She was such a fantastic lawyer... *snivel* Nice start Hinck, and the hand attached to the hand-cuffs hand be laughing pretty hard. This is sure going to be an interesting game... -
Well first of all, what a pleasure it is that Iris has been returned to us, and not only has she returned, but she killed that dreadful Darlene woman. I had a lot of trouble with her in LA, she kept taking my operatives to court, the old female canine. Anyway, it seems we have some rats amongst us. I hate rats. They disgust me. So lets get rid of them as quick as possible and go back to our normal criminal lives. As can be expected, we do not yet have any evidence to go off, so if anyone has anything to share, go for it.

A Lego Board Game
Dragonator replied to Admiral Blockbeard's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You've got a spelling mistake on the Lord Admiral card. Looking forward to seeing the board, perhaps then I won't be quite so confused as to how to play. Looking good so far. -

That's just silly, you can't hold grudges in these sorts of games. Why, if we all started holding grudges, then Shadows and Hinckley would be trying to get each other killed every game! Oh wait... -
Inertia, I don't quite understand how your most recent post fits in with my last couple. You will notice that Lord Dragonator has ordered Marcus and the Royal Guards to leave the keep and march to the ancient city of Dormin to the north. However your most recent post kind of contradicts that. Remember that there are only a few major rules in this game, and one of them is not to contradict what another player says. In future, make sure you read fully what another member posts if it related to your story line. Feel free to defend the keep with the remaining loyal normal soldiers, however Marcus is leaving. My intention however is for Rotrigous to take the keep. Evil has to win sometimes, right? Besides, who said that Rotrigous is really the evil one?... I hope you understand where I'm coming from, I just want to avoid any unpleasant conflicting story lines, as that can ruin the fun. EDIT: Actually, I have just thought of a nice way that your idea for defending the castle would fit in nicely with my story line. If you like, we can discuss it in a PM. I'll get back to you soon.

Just hope that your Deja Vu doesn't apply to when you die, or else you'll have no chance. -

How vulgar! At least I know my Alicia would never do that, right honey? We're as close as two people can be without being one person. -

Orders confirmed captain, we are ready for take off. (that is, I got the PM ) Now let's get rid of these rats as quick as possible and get back to our normal corrupt lives. Sound good? -
Hey everyone. As you'll see I'm back in the game, and with a bit of a twist. You'll see some new characters introduced soon; I'm just starting on a new plot line which should hopefully keep me busy and entertained for a while. I've also just realised that I never finished my map of the kingdom, so I'll get that done soon as well and then you'll know where all the cities are. Good to see some old faces returning too, I look forward to seeing what you all have planned for your characters.

Purple, right? Now let us dance and be merry, my dearest Alicia! And then perhaps we can go threaten some people who owe us money. I love doing that. -
Mystery Manor - Chapter Three
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well why don't we see what he has to say on the matter? Dragonator walks over to the chandelier and crouches down. Anthony, I know your busy, but we would lik to know what you think of this little puzzle. ... Is that so? How very interesting. Standing up, Dragonator turns to the detectives. He wants to know what the rest of you think. Is he all right? Probably lost it, it happens sometimes so I understand. Right, well at least he's not hearing voices like that other chap. -
L7 Dragon's Keep; The Barracks of The Royal Guards ... and so men, that is why we shall be marching for Dormin this very night. Ready yourselves, for we may not be returning for some time. Stepping down to a low murmur, Marcus surveyed the close on 200 men assembled in the large mess hall. They looked tired, as was to be expected guarding the King in these hard times, but they also looked determined to do as their King ordered them to. Already some were slipping out to start readying their gear. At that moment, Marcus spotted two men coming towards him from the back of the room, and his breath caught. You didn't think you'd be going anywhere without us, did you Marcus? Well maybe without you, but certainly he was expecting me. Gillious, Spencer! I didn't know whether you were with us or with Rotrigous! Don't be silly, we know who saved our buts in the last two wars, and we're happy to stick by him. Indeed, I only regret that the rest of the troops cannot hold together long enough to have the same thought. The pair looked at each other, suddenly realising they had just agreed. Gillious smiled toothily, while Spencer stuck his nose in the air and did a very good job ignoring everything around him. Marcus burst out laughing. What? Oh nothing. It will be good to have you both along. Meanwhile, in the back courtyard, Dragonator and Ragnir were talking. I take it you are almost ready to go? Yes, I don't need to bring much. I have my staff, my sword, and a couple of small bags. Ah good. Why have you got that guilty look on your face. Oh nothing, I just thought you might be bringing some treasure or something... Well I did of course bring all my valuable pieces, I wouldn't leave them behind for anything! Why do you ask? Oh, no reason, I just thought you might, you know, bring some of the nice things from around the castle... Dragonator noticed that Ragnir was trying to hide a giant sack almost as large as his torso behind him, to no effect. It made a very suspicious clinking noise. Ragnir, you can't carry that all the way home! Well I don't want to leave it here. I guess we can leave it at my country house then, nobody knows I've built it yet. Is it just me, or do you seem to have a lot more in there than you had earlier today? I saw some nice things in the hallways. Ragnir! Well I guess it's better than Rotrigous having it all. Still, it is wrong to steal. You've been around these humans to long. Most of this stuff probably belonged to dragons some time in the past anyway. Good point. Talking of dragons, what of those few that are left in this kingdom? Well, the couple that were guarding the boarders left months ago from what I have heard. That only leaves a few that are with the last remaining Air Marshals of yours. Of those, I understand that the older ones have all answered the call, leaving their human "companions" behind, however a couple of the younger dragons that were raised in secret here have not left, probably because they did not understand what they were hearing. I think the council will want to have words with you about that little arrangement. The old ties between humans and dragons needed to be re-established. I am sure those couple of younger dragons that are staying behind will be safe with the Air Marshals, I do trust them. Still, it is regrettable that they must be left behind. It is, but it will not be forever. Perhaps one day when these struggles are over we can show them the homes of their ancestors? Yes, we cannot let them forget. For the time being though they shall have to survive, as once we leave they will not be able to follow even if they knew the way. Dragonator looked up at the keep, and then turned back to Ragnir. Right, let us be going, we must make all speed. Oh I've been waiting for this day for so long! Finally, we can get out of this human hell-hole. Goodbye Dratos! Yes, goodbye. For now... Lord Dragonator climbed up on to Ragnir's back, after stuffing his things into the top of the very full sack. Ragnir spread his mighty wings, and with a great heave lifted off into the air, carrying his heavy burden. High up, a shadowy figure watched them go from a small balcony...

You know I was considering trying to make it this year, and perhaps bring some castle creations with me or something. Did I mention I live in New Zealand? Yeah, that sticks a bar in the wheels of my plan. I would love to be able to come along and meet some of you, as well as look at all the amazing creations that are on display, but I'd say this year I'll just have to observe from home and search the photo galleries as usual. It always looks like you have such fun! Maybe I will have saved up enough by 2010... Anyway, the moral of this story is that if you can go, then go, because you will regret it otherwise. I hate hearing of people who live close by and don't go, I mean, I would happily trade places with them!

Peter rubs the pencil against the sheet of paper. Very faintly you can see the impression of what was written on the sheet above. It reads as follows: Tei lcnan wayuekh bbeo tish tose. There is nothing else. -

Max, I am not certain he is dead, but he must be somewhere in the mansion, and as he didn't come to greet us at the door I am fearing the worst. Perhaps you should turn your inquisitive mind to solving some of these clues. Peter, if everyone else is done in this room then I would be happy to move on. Now did you want this pencil or not? -

And you complain that the names I come up with are hard to remember!? This should be interesting, certainly a unique twist that I have never come across before. I think I'm going to enjoy this immensely... Wait, so I'm a Bastard Baritone! Wait till I tell Florence... :skull:
