Not quite true, that is something you suspect, however we do not actually have any solid prove. There is a difference between what you suspect is likely and what is hard evidence.
-
You make some excellent points. There is also the the Hit Man, as well as a possible "peeking Tom" and something like the paranoid gun owner. So, plenty of roles around, I'd say. I agree that it is probably best for those people who do have roles not to say so at the moment, as although it would be good for us of the family to know, the rats are always listening, and we don't want them to gain even a scrap more advantage than they already have. We are good at keeping secrets, so I'd say this idea of yours will work fine. What the rats don't know, the rats can't act on.
-
You know... you might just be on to something. That would be far more amusing to watch than having them taken out by the hit man. We always have liked our sport in this family. I do not think she is a day killer however, I just think she is very touchy about how people talk about her. Which is fair enough, really, who isn't?
-
An interesting idea, although I'm not sure if it is true or not. In answer to your question, the smallest group at the moment is the Fronts, consisting of only Ian, Stanton and Boyd. That is an interesting idea Dickie, although I think the hair insult was probably the most likely cause. You know how the woman can be.

Not quite true, note the following quote: So as you can see, we are expected to discuss who to vote for, but in the end, the actual decision comes down to who you really think. However by discussing we are much more likely to reach a majority, and thus are much more likely to actually get rid of the rats instead of going around in circles.
-
Zabrina, discussion allows us to see all sides of the case so that we can make an informed decision when it comes to voting. That way we might have the chance of reaching a majority and coming to some decision. Excellent, a starting point. Thanks for sharing. Now, may I enquire as to why he has aroused your suspicions? Is it the way he has been acting, or do you know something else? Please, feel free to share. If you don't want to then that's OK to, but if we know your reasons then we'll be able to decide whether we agree or disagree with you.
-
No no no, let's stay here and discuss what is going on. We have been told that we are allowed to discuss who we vote for, so if anyone has already voted, I want to know who for and why. If you have seen something the rest of us have missed then share it, for we will only find the truth through discussion. Myself I have not yet voted, as I feel it is too early to safely classify anyone as a true rat. However if one of you has seen something I have missed, I would like to know, as it could effect my decision. We'll get nowhere if we don't discuss what we are going to do.

Well if you ladies want to have your fun, then I guess that's fine. Just don't let it interfere with the real purpose of our meeting here, to eliminate the presence of the FBI rats. Which we don't seem to be getting anywhere with...

The Baritones 2 Introduction & Discussion Thread
Dragonator replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I concur that the open flaunting of the fact that the woman are secretly talking behind our backs is a bit unfair, and isn't really in the spirit of the game. I said so in the other thread, just more in character. Lego12, I think you might be taking it a bit far, no offence meant. Perhaps we should consult our game host? Could we try to keep everything game-related in the main thread? It makes things a lot easier for us all. -
Now hang on just a minute. I can understand that the ladies have their club, but I do not like the idea of them all talking in private. I think under the current circumstances we, the entire family, should stay together and try to solve this problem. Wouldn't you all agree?
-
Probably because she can get quite touch about people drinking excessively. And rightly so too. Can we please try and focus on what is important? We don't want to spend the whole day just drinking do we, when there is a threat to e dealt with...
-
Oh but that would be telling, wouldn't it? Let's not get excessive with the drinking ladies, we still need to be able to think clearly at the end of the day so we can cast our votes, or not cast, as the case may be.

My wife is a fine woman and the strongest I have ever met. Her loyalties are to me and the whole family, she would as soon betray me, her loving and devoted husband, as betray the family. We love each other, and nothing will come between us and our commitment to the family. Her smile could charm the moon and melt the sun. You ladies enjoy your little club, it's nice to see you're all being friendly and are helping to look after each other in these tough times, but make sure it doesn't interfere with the family business. Sound OK?

I take it that was aimed at me. Yeah, yeah, I'm working on it, all right! -
Oh yes, one more thing. As Zabrina has said, adultery is not something we like much in this family. If I discover that anyone, husband or wife, is doing this at such a crucial time for our family, I will be extremely displeased. I'm sure non of you lovely ladies would even think of cheating on your husbands though, and we men certainly wouldn't, so there won't be a problem, right?
-
Right folks, settle down please. Feel free to help yourselves to the whiskey, and Boyd will be supplying anything else. We've had enough idle chatter, let's get down to sorting out this problem, OK? Now, as you all know, and as Iris has attested to, we have been infiltrated by FBI rats. This is harming our business here in Moonlight. So what we need to discuss first is what to do about the problem? It is very early on for us to be suspicious of any one particular person yet, however if you are suspicious of someone then please voice your suspicion and tell us why. I seem to recall that someone was suspicious of Perry earlier, did that someone have a reason? The most important thing we need to remember is to keep our cool and try to think things through like true Baritones. We have already had one problem today with the death of Pedro. I know we all disliked him and he was an annoying sod, but he still turned out to be one of us. So I think we need to try and avoid any more little accidents. Leave the killing to whoever the hit man is, after we have made a considered vote for someone. Mindless violence may be our normal method, but I don't think it will help us with this little problem. So, please add your thoughts to this discussion, and let's start planning. I call a toast, to us ridding the family of these filthy FBI rats. *everyone raises their glass and drinks*
-
Oh good show I say, that creep was starting to get on my nerves. To bad he wasn't FBI, altough I think he was a bit to crooked to be useful to either us or them. Well now that he's gone, what do you all say to sitting down, with this fine whiskey, and perhaps making a plan to get these rats?
-
Indeed, there is something like six containers of the stuff over here. Let's get another bottle out, shall we?
-
I think you just like talking in riddles. Do you even have any clue what your saying? I hate people who sow confusion, they remind me of witches... Just shut up and drink the bloody whiskey.
-
I agree, that's just not done. Threatening the ladies and all that. I don't much like this chap either, who employed him?
-
Or unnecessarily distracting. Until you have some proof, perhaps we should stick to what we know rather than coming up with wild theories...
-
I don't suppose you're a bit bonkers are you? What are you talking about? Are you suggesting that somebody other than the FBI has infiltrated the family? Stop speaking in riddles, it is confusing me. By the way, Id say the Rats probably have the advantage over us at the moment, I mean we don't know who they are. Although I'm starting to have my suspicions... Welcome Piav, pull up a chair and have some whiskey. Any relative of my wife's is welcome here, and I understand you have also done some excellent work for the family, too.
-
Most certainly Inertiatieri, here you go. *Slides a whole bottle down the large table they are suddenly sitting at* Help yourself! Oh ignore him, he's just peeved he's missing out on the whiskey. Although you do make a good point, perhaps keeping a wary eye is a good idea... Wait, so now we are your enemies? Who's side are you on? From everything you have said so far this morning, you sound every bit like an arrogant FBI agent to me.
-
Then you're family in my book. Good to have you with us. You bring up a fair point, at this point in time, we should trust nobody. Although I am always happy to trust someone until they prove themselves to be untrustworthy. We are family after all, so why don't we sort this out over a couple of bottles of this 20 year Malt Whiskey I found a crate of over there. *Pours for Perry and himself* Down she goes!

Nice idea ISC, sounds like fun. We of course already know that Team Alpha would win though, but it's still worth holding. In other news, you'll be glad t know I've finally started on the front gates. Hooray! I've managed to place a whole two bricks so far, but I've got a vague idea mapped out, so hopefully it won't come out to badly.
