Nice job scum, pretty close finish there. Pity nobody went after Colin after I pretty clearly outlined all the ways he was being suspicious early on, but no matter! It was a fun game. Town players really need to read a bit more critically though; having to repeat the same thing 5 times because people misread it is quite frustrating! Nice working putting that all together Tammo. -

I am pleased to announce the winners of the Heroica RPG 2nd Anniversary Building Contest! There were many fantastic entries and it is clear a lot of voters had difficulty choosing their absolute favourites. In the end, a clear winner and runner-up emerged from the voting. Coming in 1st place and winning the grand prize of his choice of either 70404 King's Castle or 79008 Pirate Ship Ambush, with 45 votes, was Fianat with his Temple of Ennoc creation, congratulations! Runner-up in this contest and taking away the left over prize, with 28 votes, was Etzel with his Shrine of the Blessed creation. Well done to both of you! Two really fantastic builds that captured exactly what this contest was all about. Honourable mentions also go to, in no particular order, Emma, Legonardo, Scubacarrot and Cara, who each received over 10 votes and deserve recognition for their efforts in this contest. Thank you for entering! There was only one entry into the staff category by Peppermint_M, who wins a landslide victory and the unique in-game item, Mod Rod (WP:10, causes the afraid-effect; lightning-elemental staff suitable for staff members only). Congratulations to you also! The staff entry requirements were much stricter, requiring the builder to also include a duplo element in their build. A really big thank you to everyone else who participated, commented on and voted in this event, it has been a tremendous success and a great way to celebrate the on-going popularity of the Heroica RPG here on EuroBricks. I'd also like to thank Darkdragon for helping tally the votes with me, and Sandy for running the Cruel Angel's Thesis game as part of these celebrations. Congratulations once again to our winners! If you are interested in viewing all of the entries they can be found here. Mafia After Dark - Day 1: Confirmation
Dragonator replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
As a moderation note, I would like to mention that arguing someone cheated is not a valid line of reasoning in Mafia. Rule breaches are to be dealt with by the game Host or the Games Moderator, not commented on by players, particularly when they have no way to verify the accusation and are, indeed, incorrect. If a player suspects that someone has breached a rule, please report this privately to the game Host or Games Moderator with your evidence for them to deal with. -

Funny you should mention that. Well at least I'm not going to be chopped apart by a zombie. Wouldn't want to get too much blood on my stunning costume. -

Dragonator replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Very good, thank you for clarifying what exactly you were asking Kristina. As I have said abgout three times now, I based my initial suspicion of you on your first little skirmish with Shane early in Night 2. Come Day 2, you explained that you had been in contact with Person A, and said to everyone that you told Person A about Shane, but did not tell Shane about Person A. Therefore, I started to think that perhaps it was not you that killed off Shane, perhaps it was this Person A. You clearly told Person A something about Shane, whether that was just that you were in contact with him or something more, I would have no idea. I don't like to think that Shane's death was random though; there must have been a reason. I see Person A's knowledge of him being in contact with you as a potential reason. Perhaps Person A merely wanted to cut off your contact with someone he knows is a real townie? Or perhaps he just wanted to spread some confusion by killing the one other person you were in contact with. We clearly don't have all the information there and it is only possible to speculate, but I do think it is a starting place that is worth looking at. Certainly a lot more valid than a vague "Oh the Tailor hasn't said much, must be scum". Just look at Colin if you want a better example of that. I hope that helps! If you bothered reading my previous post and vote against Colin, you would see I did actually mention his vote. See here. -

Ask away! I have nothing to hide. May as well help as much as I can before you kill me off, even if I won't be believed until tomorrow. -
Mafia After Dark - Night 3: Reservoir Dogs
Dragonator replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Actually Colin I've mentioned you a few times, I pointed you out yesterday even. Been talking about you for a while you fashion-less fellow so don't try to pull that one. As to your second point, if anyone would bother reading they would see that my suspicion of Person A stems from the fact that Kristina said she told whoever it is about Shane, and then Shane was suddenly killed. Coincidence? Perhaps, but certainly a much better lead than the speculation made up about me, so I'd say it is worth looking in to tomorrow once I have passed away. I'd also say Colin is worth looking in to, scummy fellow that he seems to be. As to my top three suspicions, my apologies for not saying so. I think it's clear that number one for me currently is Colin. Number 2 is whoever Person A is. I've been rather focused on those two and attempting to provide some clarity from Kristina's rather unfortunate twisting of my words, so I don't have a third suspect sorry. Perhaps Bernard, for trying to act like he's actually useful or something. Silly old man. Thanks for accepting that my bone picking was to do with your initial comments against Shane by the way Kristina, I'm glad we cleared that up. An unfortunate difference of perspective on how aggressive your words seemed, but at least we've cleared up that miscommunication. I think it would be wise to be cautious about attacking people too aggressively in the day threads, as the scum seem to be doing quite a good job of trying to silence someone that was being looked at during the night in order to sow a bit more confusion. -
Mafia After Dark - Night 3: Reservoir Dogs
Dragonator replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Or alternatively, they kill Kristina relatively soon and she takes the identity of Person A to her grave! Lots of options for how this could all turn out. It's a pity some of you are so set on taking me out, but I guess it can't be helped. A couple of small words and a crazy whispering woman and boom, my fashion career is toast once more. I just hope you all at least pay my words some heed come tomorrow, as I do feel I'm on to something there with Colin. Take for example, his vote against Shane yesterday. You might think that voting for the person that is later killed wouldn't be a good move for scum, but perhaps he did it for exactly that reason; to be able to pretend that he was just an innocent townie that was clearly not voting as the scum would, since Shane was then killed. He didn't have any other reason for his vote, in fact he based it entirely on Shane "acting too much like a townie": Seems like a pretty thin reason to place a vote against Shane when there were so many other options yesterday. To this humble tailor it looks like he was just finding any excuse to make the vote so he could point to it later as an obvious sign of not being in on the scum action plan while hoping nobody picked up on his crap reasoning for placing such a vote. If you do decide to lynch me, do at least consider these thoughts tomorrow. I shall Vote: Colin Malone (Cornelius Murdock). I suppose I should at least go prepare something fittingly fabulous just in case this is my last hurrah, maybe the turquoise blazer... -

Mafia After Dark - Night 3: Reservoir Dogs
Dragonator replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Evening all, nice to be back. My apologies for to Bernard for being so incredibly busy working on these stylish custard suit pants for him, I'm a busy tailor! Let's see if I can clear up a few things, since nobody seemed to actually read what I posted during the day. Simple actually, I had a genius idea to try and indicate that I had, indeed, been prevented from talking and was not simply avoiding you all. Sadly it seems we do indeed receive private warnings, so that backfired somewhat, however I can still say that I have indeed been warned and I was indeed told not to post during the day; someone was clearly trying to silence me so they could continue with this ridiculous attempt to frame me for... not much right? So let's recap why I posted. Primarily, I wanted to clear up the whole bone-picking thing, which Kristina has managed to completely side-rail you all on. I had no clue Kristina was in contact with Shane privately, not even the slightest idea of it. You think I'd be dumb enough to mention something she said to him in private when I have no way of knowing that? Don't be ridiculous. My bone picking comment was in reference to her very early stab at Shane, which he countered and then she never seemed to respond to until suddenly, oh Shane's dead look at that. I found that suspicious and wanted to point it out. Clearly though, if Kristina is truly what she claims she is (which we cannot currently verify) then perhaps what I observered was not the scummy play I thought it was. Much like my (fairly typical for me) infrequent posts are not some attempt to hide; I am still following along and trying to give input when I can, hence my comments about Kristina at the end of last night. It's busy being a tailor you know. Honestly though, I don't see why I'm considered a big lead. I supposedly didn't contribute much despite making several observations which seem to have mostly been ignored, and then I tried pointing out something I thought was suspicious about Kristina and suddenly she's got her claws right out and is trying her best to tear me down swiftly. Can't blame a tailor for finding that a bit off! Personalyl I'd actually be a bit more suspicious of the people who have wordlessly followed Kristina's misguided lead, perhaps seeing it as an easy bandwagon and a way to waste another day. Take Colin for example. I pointed him out previously as someone who has trying to say a little but not much (take a look at his one post in Day 2 for example), and now here he is throwing a vote out without even an "I agree for these reasons". Come tomorrow, he'll naturally be right up there supporting the people wanting to question whoever led them to lynch another Malone I am sure. I still feel too little attention has been paid to Person A. It seems very coincidental that Kristina finds a protector in the first person she contacts, then tells him/her something about Shane and Shane ends up dead soon after. That seems pretty off to me and is the biggest question I would want to persue right now, if so many of you weren't mindlessly persuing me. It seems possible to me that Person A may be manipulating Kristina; I'm sure the Ferraris would jump at the chance to be in contact with a Malone privately and would want to make the most of that opportunity. Protector is easy enough for scum to claim as they can simply not kill the person they're manipulating; I've done that very thing in a past life. So my conclusion then, is that I urge you, Kristina, to perhaps have another think about the circumstances so far and think about the possibility that maybe Person A isn't as trustworthy as you think! I certainly see a lot more substance in questioning whoever it is as there is a clear possibility that they were involved in Shane's death somehow, if you passed on some information to them about him. -
Heroica RPG - Cruel Angel's Thesis ~ Day Three
Dragonator replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Heh, I've heard that one far too many times. You'll have enough excuse tomorrow and before we know it, it'll be too late. Don't try to play the innocent, you've been trying to lead everyone along all this time. You're just out to kill as many people as you can as fast as possible, that is clearly obvious. Have you helped kill any Nephilim thus far? No. You've just silenced every Hero that had an opinion about you. Don't fall for Calico's schemes any more people, we need to clear this up now before too many more of us are dead. I think it should be pretty obvious what is going on.- 343 replies

Heroica RPG - Cruel Angel's Thesis ~ Day Three
Dragonator replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Yes you do seem to be attacking me, how very rash of you, when you haven't even had a response from me. Sadly I think she is. I am beginning to suspect that the Nephilim are not being as subtle as we might think. Perhaps they are in reality, trying to lead the charge in order to appear like one of us. Take Calico here as a fine example. She outrageously attacked our Dragoon yesterday and encouraged others to do the same, without really contemplating any of her words. Now she's attacking me for no reason other than that I haven't had a great deal to say, when she is also at the same time encouraging you all to kill every single mage. Does that really seem like the rash behaviour of a hero to you? It sure doesn't to me. In my opinion we should all focus out attacks on one of her little "group", who I should add came together extremely quickly without much reason for doing so, in order to find out whether one of them is one of the cursed Nephilim. I think it's obvious one or all of them are; they have done nothing but kill Heroes so far. They jump at the slightest excuse and kill someone off, then make excuses later. Well I may be a low level but I sure hope the rest of you aren't just going to stand around while they do that.- 343 replies

Heroica RPG - Cruel Angel's Thesis ~ Day Three
Dragonator replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Ah dear oh dear, what a mess we're in here. Someone decided to shoot me with an arrow last night, but I'm still standing so whoever it was hasn't been able to prevent me from delivering our dearly departed Dragoon's final letter to you all. I hope it can be of some help in our struggle! Funny that you said this about those two and you were quick to jump up and kill me. However, you are right about them, they are extremely quick to start ordering people to be killed and robbing them. The longer the heroes let them live, the more of us will die. Right. Mafia After Dark - Day 3: 25th Hour
Dragonator replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Apparently I'm too tired to talk tonight, but I'm not one for letting some scummy Ferrari drug me up and stop me from posting if I damn well want to post! You can't hold back my fabulousness! Of course that post caught your attention madame, it was an attack against you. Naturally you have done well to try and deflect the intention behind my words by latching on to one statement and ignoring the rest, probably thinking I wouldn't be able to respond until the evening as I was instructed by our dear Don to go to bed and have a good rest. Well I say bugger that, we're finally potentially making some progress. My bone picking was in reference to that very statement actually, and Shane's response to it, quoted below. I felt it strange that you wanted to bring that up, but then never even responded to his points. With your new role claim... well it is easy enough to prove I suppose, assuming you can keep contacting people, but it seems very strange that, conveniently, you talk to Shane, then he turns up dead, then I make one post criticising you, and then suddenly I'm instructed not to talk during the day. Coincidence perhaps? Framing? I'm not really sure now, but it smells very fishy to me all in all. I wouldn't say that, I think we're starting to get some indications, small as they may be, of the way some of us think. That's always useful. The conversation today is driven largely by the events we've seen thus far, I don't see that as exclusive to my comments. As for that whole policy thing, that wasn't my conversation either and I honestly found it a little off the mark. A day 1 lynch is mostly random luck, whether it's based on whatever nonsense a policy lynch is. I don't even recall hearing the term prior to this situation, but I've been out of the business for a while. My only point was the random part, not the policy part. As much as I would like to believe you are scum out to trick us though, if your role claim is true then I can see no way that could be the case. Unfortunately Shane cannot confirm your role for you, so the only other person who could at the moment is the mysterious Person A. I'd like to take this opportunity, since my eyes are drooping and our Don is probably going to slap me on the wrist soon, to say that perhaps Shane's death came from Kristina blabbing that she was in contact with him to Person A? I can't really see any other motive for killing him, but that seems likely with the new information we now have. Kristina seems a little too hot headed to be scum, and has made a potentially ridiculous role claim if it is a fabrication, so I would want to shift attention to Person A, the one that knew about Shane before he was killed. In conclusion, I do believe we've become a bit scrambled during the previous day, but I can assure you voting me off will just be a waste of tomorrow. It would be much more useful to focus our efforts on finding the scum that are likely working hard to deceive us, not on the poor tailor that was barely around. From the revelations today I do believe Person A would be a very good starting place. I shall make any further responses this evening, as I had better nip back to bed before the powers that be decide to start tearing up my gorgeous garments to punish me. I'm used to being told off for my fabulous attire so I suppose I can stomach a warning.
